Wonderful Mega Sports Complex situated at Ranchi having all the facilities to the standard of International quality to host different Indoor as well as outdoor games. DAV Public Schools, Jharkhand Zone got the privilege to host it National Games and Sports here from December 12 to 14, 2018 where more than 5000 participants from all over India took part. Very memorable it became for all of us.

Built very well and superb but day by day beauty of the place is deteriorating not taken any care. All stadium are losing their paint and cement. I saw plants and roads are well maintained but I think thats not gona last longer. The main entrance building is the most worst part of the place.

Going there you will realize how tax payers money is wasted. The beautifully made complex requires serious maintenance, otherwise it will be gone in few years time.However, recently JSPSS has started pay and play scheme. Under this scheme ordinary citizens can play after paying certain fees, depending on the facility used. The paying process is by DD. They will issue a pass for opted period.

Youll get proper training after enrolment. Very reasonable fee. You can also enjoy your morning and evening walks, exercises, etc. The campus is well maintained, special focus on cleanliness and hygiene along with beautiful gardens.

Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium was the inspiration behind the renovation of Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi that hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 Commonwealth Games. Among the ideas adopted by CWG organisers was the imported, dust and fireproof roof that has been used in the Ranchi stadium, which boasts a seating capacity of 35,000. To host all the athletics events, apart from the opening and closing ceremonies, the main stadium occupies pride of place in the 275 acres (111 ha) Mega Sports Complex

The best place to play sports at Ranchi. From badminton to tennis to swimming, it covers a wide variety of sports. Most of the sports are available at a relatively lower price and multiple courts are available.. The registration process is easy too..

Lovely place to participate in the athletic events. Ground is in international standard. Had a great time here by participating ICAR Eastern Zone Sports Meet 2018.It is located around 5 km away from main city. Better to have food and other necessary things with you before visiting this place.

Actually this stadium is very good for morning walk or running. My house is nearby so whenever I get time I used to come here with my friends or sometimes alone and I run inside the big stadium. Its very easy and comfortable because the tracks are made up of rubber. And there are two running stadiums. One is the main stadium in which sumetimes due to some programs people are not allowed to go inside but the other one which is a kind of practice track which is same as the other one. The athletes used to practice there before performing on the other stadium. So it is good. You can do exercises here and also run which is good for your body. You can come here if you live nearby.

Great facility, but not maintained at all. Sad to see it getting wasted.The sports complex is immense in size with stadiums for badminton, tennis, football, basketball, volley ball courts.The bad side is, the sorry state of toilets, lack of water, general cleanliness (take tissues with you if you are planning to sit), lack of a restaurant (at least I couldnt locate any), broken floor tiles everywhere, open manholes and slabs and the list goes on.Truly wish if this world class facility is maintained appropriately.

Very nice stadium in Ranchi. I visited it afternoon. It was too hot that day but when I saw the building and ground of the Birsa Munda Athletic Complex, I just want play whole day in that park. I love this park.
