Total area of the park is 542 acres. Beautifully maintained all around. Rose garden, cacktus enclosures, nursery are worth seeing. Excellent maintenance of toilets that are situated in all corners of the park. Rare plants & trees attracts the visitors. Childrens park, artificial water falls are added attraction. Natural beauty of the forest compels every one to realise the fragrance of wild flowers all around. Every corner of the park can be reached by well maintained roads. A must visit for nature lovers.

A great place and green zone to hangout with family and friends in Ranchi Jharkhand. Very big area to roam around in diffrent zones like nursury, bonsai garden, hills , nature trail etc. Ticket price is very nominal . Its a no plastic zone. Would like to revisit again.

It is a weekend getaway from crowded city noise. Well maintained and park with variety of plantation sites. Natural forest surroundings. Best time would be early morning to spend quality time with nature as by the afternoon humidity reach its peak. Best season I would say winter for soothing environment but ofcourse spring to watch blooming gardens.But time by time things needs some extra care and maintenance. Concerned authorities should take care at the earliest without waiting for complete renovations.

Picnic place is there. Large separate Parking is there. Variety of Cactus plant is planted here. This park is most loved place by familys and loved couple. Totally adventures park some areas are high some areas are deep shallow. Tickets charge is 30 rupees per person. You can carry your own food and inside some small shop is available. This park is vast. Really vast, you need to spend your whole day here for visiting it and understanding it completely. This park has every specie of flora and fauna and are really taken good care of. It felt like i am visiting a forest without any human inference. The place is completely clean. If you come to ranchi please give a visit to this beautiful place far from rush.

It was really a great experience , although i did not able to see the whole area due to shortage of time but i enjoyed and if possible want to go there once again.

The combination of nature and artificial gardening attracts bigger no of people to enter inside Biodiversity Park. Well maintained and strict penalty system helps to maintain clean and green. You need to deposit money if you carry any polythene or plastic and showing the same will give back your amount. The rocks, the forest, the hills and lakes will fill up you if you are a nature lover. A jungle walk around 1.2 km and a rock trekking will make your day. Gardened with many flowers, spices other trees makes this place complete. Either with your spouse or friends or family, the day is yours. Full of fun, excitement and pleasure the visit will reserve a memory for ever. Follow the map and plan accordingly else you will miss a lots of area as the park is too big to cover in a day.

Well kept Bio Park. One thing I found irritating is that Parents use the swings meant for children whereas the kids are made to wait.. Cmon parents give the kids a break.. you should graciously let the kids use the Swings (Jhula) meant for their age... !!! :-(

Under construction not completed yet but space is good . Good fresh area to visit. No fencing has been done around the park.

Our group cycle dost went on an off road trip to biodiversity park Ranchi it was a very good and adventurous ride.

Nice place with medicinal herbs, aquatic plants, bamboo species, varities of bogenvelia and rose, specially the cactus house it was really mesmerizing. Now the negatives it needs maintenance. Every section of the park is crying out loud for help cant you hear (broken name tags, blooming alges instead of waterlilies and lotus, almost dead medicinal herbs, love declaration board aka rest shed and all) For God sake do something about it. p.s dont you dare to forget a bottle of water coz you will definitely need it during your stay in the park. Trust me it is really really wide. Best time to visit winter (Jan- Feb)
