A beautiful old heritage building of Ganguli’s of Hijuli. Very well maintained and stands out.

Ganguly Bari-Hijuli is very well known, reputed place to us those who are staying at Ranagahat. It is situated at RANAGHAT Hijuli location. At the entrance there are two big pullers with a huge gate. Left side of the piller written clearly Ganguly Villa-1801.During puja occasion the villa shows its magical beauty.The corridor area shines with lighting and Colourful jhumars.Below share my experience-It is very pathetic to say previous year which is my first and possibly last, I visited this glorious Ganguly Villa with my mother to saw the durga idol and also to saw the Inlaid with beauty Ganguly Villa.After saw the durga idol (Devi ma) ,I am trying to taking snap in my mother side of the courtier. Unfortunately some one of this aged family member rudely behaved and strongly advised me to stop and said to move from this courtier mainly from grass surface.I already saw in other time many of people taking there pre wedding shoot in the middle of courtier,Stairs wearing with their shoes also with various pose and I believe this durga courtier not situated for this purpose.Where we are not wearing obviously any shoes in the premises.I love to visit various puja pandels mainly Jamider family puja,some old traditional puja where idols are old traditionally build like your Ganguly Villa.But feeled very shocked.Now I am outside from Ranagahat but every year visit this place during this auspicious puja occasion.Now Im deciding not to visit this place in future never ever.I expect Ganguly family will definitely uplifting their brands.Note-Put 5 star because Ranagahat is my own place.Warm regardsSantanu karmakarConsultant-Goverment AdvisoryIndia
