After a long search through a reference we book IRIS Resort & Spa Jim Corbett property for 10 people during long weekend of 1 Oct to 3 Oct.Staff is polite, food is decent avg hygiene, in-house singer lead the evening, alacart snacks were good & fresh.Understand that due to current pandemic hotel industry got a bad hit but at same time we did not expect that they will compromise in rooms quality also where basic service would become a challenge for them to serve.We opt for quad sharing where 4 person accommodate in a suite, but allocated rooms have seapages, rough wall paints, broken fittings, marks in bedding. Our rooms has been downgraded to other suite at same cost of previous premium suite. We manage without any complain regarding the pricing. But hope its a basic ethics to fill water, tea kits, cups, glasses, towel as per number of guests accomodate in single room, no point of providing this ammenties base on 2 guests whereas 4 guests staying in same room and even after request service took more then a hr of provide the same. Even after they come, ammenties comes only for a room where call was made and not for rooms.2 day this basic amenities like tea kits, cups, glasses, towel was not refill and again we need to request them several times and we receive all this after making 4-5 calls in duration of 2 hrs.Compromise to room structure is still we can over-look but not the basic services. Price of hotel is not cheap and either they should maintain that standards or should reduce the prices. No point of penalising guests because they come with a family group and due to busy weekend they cant move other place. Enclosed pics to look conditions of premium suite room.During check out hotel is enough generous to us charge us additional Rs 500/- cash as an damage of bed sheet. Instead of adding this amount in total bill they took separate cash and did not provide any bill or recipt of that Rs 500/-. Guest need to pay this amount as an additional damage even after paying around Rs. 70,000 for booking but hotel is not responsible to adjust even a single Rs as an damage for rooms and services that they have provided.Feedback was given to Sales Manager and Hotel Manager but no one felt sorry even knowing and seeing the rooms conditions or services issues that we have faced.Hospitality industry spread base on word of mouth. We all come have across with bad phase of life during pandemic. Pls treat your guests according to hotel industry standards to fulfil basic service needs instead of picking their pockets to cover your past losses.

I wish i could give a -ve rating. As we have visited this a couple of years ago, the management was good and services were pretty good. But this time it was worse. First of all the door lock was broken, which they fixed upon checking in. The rooms werent cleaned properly. There was Dust on the table and Shelf. As there were kids with us, we had called in the room service to fix the Television, they took the set-top box saying they will be replacing it in a hour but no one came until we checked out the other day.Intercom in my room wasnt working either.Coming on to the food :-As the resort was kind of booked for a wedding.So the staff was kinda preoccupied providing them services. Upon ordering food for kids in the room , the bread served was kinda stale.So had to call them again and order something else which took them over an hour to deliver.Electricity was also an issue the whole time. Sometimes it took them 10-15 minutes to turn the generator on.The very first thing we did the next morning was to change the Resort.You have to call in multiple times to get a service delievered.If the Management was pre occupied with the Ongoing wedding guests, Why they took in new Bookings??Overall I could say they ruined 1 day of our trip. No one would want that especially when you havesmall children with you.I wish the management would do something to clean up their mess.I personally wouldnt recommend Iris resort to any of my known people.

IRIS resort staff is over impressed by them self, ZERO RATING from my family, not good in service, not good in food quality, I have asked for water after coming back from long walk and there staff denied to serve and the reason was ITS TEA TIME WE CAN NOT SERVE. Food is amazing. The options are limited but every dish is perfect. The staff is courteous, but service was slow at times. Rooms are classy, maintained and spacious. Location is too deep in the jungle, which is both good and bad. Only Jio and BSNL work and wifi is available only in the reception area. Educated crowd mostly.

It was good. The service was not that great. The location and place of the resort is fabulous. But many from our group had bad experience because of the bad AC service in the rooms. But other than that it was all good and great.

I visited on 27th Aug 21 with my family for 4 days....Nice resort and location of the resort is very excellent - mountain view, near by shops, adventure sports, rafting booking shops...etc. Kuldeep Singh- manager of the resort was a great host....Food was excellent- ghar ka khana with lots of variety...KD Pandey was the great chef...all staff was nice....service was excellent......will come again for sure...

The location is quite good inside the jungle giving us a similar experience of a forest. They have a room for activities and certain events happen every evening such as tea time and movie related to Corbett park.Swimming pool is also good for all children and adults.Their were alot of things that were not up to the mark such as slow staff service, broken shower and other plumbing problems. The water pressure is also very low which is a problem. Food in lunch and dinner is ok but during breakfast their is nothing except eggs in Non veg, food quality is also poor and variety is very less (In breakfast only). They offer a welcome drink which is tasty. The worst thing about the stay was that they had told us that they were giving us 2 rooms interconnected to each other but when we reached it turned out that one of the rooms was the living room with a sofa convertible bed, this felt as a kind of betrayal to us but we had to adjust as we had come a long way and other resorts were already full.They offer a safari package which was the best thing that I found in the trip, would highly recommend to take it if you stay at this resort.Whole experience was neither good nor bad, it was pretty balanced.

Lets start with the positives, great location and planning. Also, this review has been written keeping in mind the impact of Covid. I stayed at the same place 4 years ago and it was wonderful, hence the regretful returnMoving on then, saying the room quality is poor would be generous. We had to switch rooms twice, problems with the AC or a jammed keylock. Oh, and not to mention BLOCKS OF ICE THROWN ON MY BED FROM THE AC in the middle of the night.The food is below average, no variety at all. They circulate the same gravy throughout the day. The service is agonizing, good luck getting a bottle of water to your room IF the Intercom works.Now I was at first sympathetic knowing they might not be at full capacity, unfortunately its just not the case. Just horrible management.Such a shame indeed, if anyones reading this. Keep away my friend.

It is a beautiful five star hotel in Ramnagar. There is a swimming pool, a restaurant, a play area, open space for music in the evening. The vibe is very much like a cottage. The inside place is beautiful. There are cottages, duplexes, family suite and presidential suite.

Located in the dense forest, around Jim Corbett.Resort is gorgeous, don’t except out of the world facilities (You’re in the jungle). We stopped here for 1 night : Toilets are clean, geyser took about 20 mins to heat, kettle to heat water for coffee/tea, towels and soap provided, lights in the room were very fancy, tv with basic channels- will have a peaceful sleep. Food is great, only buffet-good options. Room service available if you opt to eat in the room or simple requests. The wall fan was noisy, however weather was pleasant so we did not use it.Pool, billiards, evening live music, swings and a souvenir shop - The place is LIT in the evening and the resort members are helpful!!Final 2km stretch to resort will be tough for drivers cause of bumpy roads but if you want to experience wilderness worth every penny!

It was a very bad stay.. In one of my most visited places... It is resort located in the jim corbett park (outskirts) but gives you feel of complete solitude from the external world.The hospitality of the place is amazing as thr the place is loaded with luxuries.For entertainment purpose you jave the pool table, table tennis, cricket kit, badminton kit as well as indoor gamesIt is somewhere around 3-5 kms off the main road into the jungle to give you the real experience of shaanti.Looking for leisure trip, do book this for couple of days

We visited on 30th Dec for new year celebrations.Got great deal, good property.Sales team is far better than the staff at reception. Most of our issues were resolved because we were able to connect with the sales person who got us the deal.Rooms were amazing.Washroom needed serious renovation.We were upgarded on 1st to duplex which were even more comfy.Biggest disadvantage was there were no network signals, unless you have relaince-jio connection. So please request for a jio dongle once you reach.Food was amazing for all gala nights and on 1st it appeared to be very ordinary. May be the entire team was exhaused after working so hard for 3 days.

Road leading to the hotel is picturesque with small river streams to cross.It is near to the exit gate of Sitavani Forest.Location : 4/5 StarThis resort has swimming pool, table tennis, live musical show in the evening, badminton and lush green garden to walk around.We booked this hotel through GTI Travels online and paid for premium category package but were provided Deluxe cottage rooms which were okay.Pros : 👍Buffet Breakfast and Dinner with good variety of foodRoom has a heaterGeysers for hot waterComplimentary water bottles and tea packets providedStaff is cordial, polite, helpfulCons: 👎- Bed Mattress were not very comfortable and room door couldn’t open completely as they were jammed.- Door locks were jammed and keys don’t work properly.- Bathrooms are very tiny and tap fixtures are poorly placed.- Commode hand shower is on the left side which makes it very uncomfortable to use.- Bath tubs are in pathetic condition.Cottage rooms need urgent attention and bathrooms require proper changes. I have seen many comments from other travellers who suggested bathroom renovation but hotel is paying no heed to this request.Overall experience : 3/5 Star

Great location, really pleasant and small rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice.Hundreds of monkeys all over the hotel premises. Never want to be in a situation where we wont leave the hotel room because We are scared of the monkeys. (minus 1 star)Musical evening by Mr. Rana is the best part of our stay.no mobile network no wifi makes our holiday good and bad at same time, no disturbance by mobile but no contact with home.

Good place in jungle

Jim Corbett has always been a top priority destination for the Animal Lovers. Reaching Resort from the main road and travelling for 7 Kms inside the Jungle was biggest thriller in itself with no visible road, no signs, no light at all and above all no network coverageThe resort is a sheer Luxury in Vill Kyaari . The best part was Buffett and food of the hotel which was actually yummilicious. Staff was also courteous. Ambience and lush green gardens and that too well maintaned were really amazing.We stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed all the special activities planned by Resort staff every evening which includes couple dance, bonfire, table tennis, badminton and swimming.

Really loved the hospitality extended by the staff. Had an amazing experience with all my cousins. The resort had all the facilities to keep the families engaged - be it sports, live music performances, bonfire. The best part was the food. It was just too amazing. It is a must visit place with your family.

Visited Iris resort for a long weekend with very finicky in-laws. Great experience overall. Great value for money. Taking home lots of memorable experiences. The staff were very hospitable, patient and courteous. Would specially like to mention - Mr Tansen, front desk, housekeeping and restaurant staff. We got an upgraded room which was much appreciated since we had a 9 year old. The check-in and check-out experience, restaurants, and spa were great. The food was delicious. Had a great Safari and Kaladungi museum+organic lunch experience. Loved the Gypsy rides across and along Dabka riverbed. Hairy but eminently memorable. Very satisfying vacation overall. Keep it up guys!

It’s a pretty good place hidden inside the forest area. We were a big group of 20 and loved the place a lot.The food is great and staff is friendly.The place is a bit off the main road and you would need to drive through a dry river bed so beware if you have a low ground clearance.I would go back if in that area.

I really enjoyed my cousins wedding on 9th feb at Iris resort, Ramnagar. The experience was fantastic and the service is highly appreciated. The site was adorable and the catering was fabulous.An exotic place for a couple to get married.

The property is not maintained. The Door locks are in pathetic condition and water flow pressure in bathroom is not appropriate . The taste of food is also not that great that we got in other resorts in Corbett. Didnt found it worth the amount paid for the resort.

My 5 days stay in Corbett Wild Iris Spa and Resort really helped me to feel relaxed and get away from the City life. It’s wonderful to experience the jungle life and one good thing about the resort is that the staffs are very friendly and welcoming. You can really see their hospitality and they make sure that they look after their customers. The food was super good and they arrange variety of activities for you like nature walks, safari ride, and a lot more! I also love the Movie under the stars along with the tea and coffee. For sure I will come back and will recommend this place with my family and friends 😊

Excellent Resort. very happy that I opted for this resort. Its a bit off the main area and directions to the resort are no where seen. Resort Should work on that. Apart from that everything and everyone here is good. Good Ambience good lawns good restaurant. The restaurant staff and especially the cook Mr. Nandlal is very warm and always ready to please his guests in restaurant. Rooms are also sufficient in size and have all required amenities.

The only good things here : white sauce pasta though it was a little sweet but was creamy and nice! And the only best thing was lachha parantha there. IFF by any chance you visit there do try the lachha parantha, its perfectly crispy with many layers, not at all burnt from anywhere. You have a decent menu there. But they charge you for ice, wont play songs at the time of bonfire and rather play a very boring video about Jim Corbett. When you are out for a holiday, you want to enjoy and not do stuff that you already do daily, it needs to be different! The food at barbeque was really pathetic. Dont Know what was wrong with their cottage cheese. Over all you may visit once but I dont suggest it.

Iris is good place to visit as its a 3 star but the money for that is full to Paisa wasool.1. Situated deep in jungle 6 km(approx) in deep jungle2. Lunch, dinner & breakfast served was great in taste, variety in dishes was good & the service provided by staff at the food hall is ASWM.3. Beautiful SWIMMING POOL which is available from 7AM to 7PM.4. Rooms are good, view from the room is like u r living in a jungle.5. Resort have a full day plan for their guests like evening live music, dance party, resort tour etc.In starting We have some issues in our room but the resort staff immediately closed those issues.You will definitely find peace in this place as resort have only 43 inventory available for the booking.

Well, the resort is very nice but the service was not good at Iris Resort and also the food wasn’t good. In the afternoon when we went to play snooker there was a whiskey bottle on the table and it was very dusty so we couldn’t play. We booked 2 wooden rooms but cigarettes smell was coming out from all over the room so we shifted into 1 higher price room. Also, the pool water wasn’t changed from few days I guess.However, in this property, you will find different games, the pool and night show also the resort’s location is very nice but it needs to be well maintained.

Recently i visited wild iris along with my friends, and our stay was lovely!The location, the Greenery, the rooms, view of hotel everything was perfect. I tried out a few dishes and drinks, everything so yumm. They had organised various experiential activities for us: tour to the silent valley, trekking , tour to the organic village, body surfing and paragliding. I just loved the place. I would really recommend to all of you to go for wold iris whenever youre planning to visit jim Corbett. You wont be disappointed.

They entire staff starting from Security to Manager knows the meaning of hospitality nd adhere to it.Will definitely look forward to visit again.

Amazing experience. It is located away from the usual hustle bustle hence is very peaceful. To reach here we have to drive for about 2 kms in the jungle which is very exciting. The food is good. The whole resort is well setup and spread over a vast area with lot of greenery and play areas inside. They organise bonfire live music in the evenings. Overall awesome experience. Look forward to come here again.

Iris resort was a good experience. Located inside the extremities of forest. Last stretch to reach there is little rough but is still ok for a car.The management and staff was good and polite. Property as a whole is very good. The food was of good quality and taste but the variety should be more in their buffet.The rooms were good we had tusker duplex/suites. Rooms had drawing room with the bed room. The water pressure in the washroom was very low. The lighting in the rooms could be improved. They should work on these aspects and do a better job with the mentanance of the property. They have bicycles on paid basis. They have play area with pool table, carrom and table tennis. Thumbs up to them for this. The lawns and greenry is very good. I would visit again if they offer me a good deal again.

The place is nicely organised and constructed, its a perfect place for families and couples. One can spend their weekends nicely over here. This resort is large and have many amenities like cycling, swimming pool, outdoor cafe, restaurant, lawn etc. Suites are of double height, nice interiors. Ambience is good as its in between a forest area

I couldnt have had a better stay than the one i had in wild iris. My trip was so recreational between the greenery at the hotel.. i loved their food and services. they even made a cake for me for my birthday. that was so cute! Thankyou wild iris for a magical stay at jim corbett and for organising so many activites and adventures for us. i would recommend everybody to consider this resort and enjoy their stay to the fullest.

Had an amazing stay at Iris, the food was awesome, the cottages were good and quite spacious, extra bedding was provided at rooftop small room in the cottage.There were various extra activities that u can engaged in, and in winters there was bonfire and live karaoke music. They provide hard drinks on ur request.They also arranged a small setup for my daughters bday.The nature walk was really good, they take u to a km walk and tell u stuff about the area.Overall an amazing stay and will recommend this to people n wil definitely come again.

Amazing place to stay. A must visit place. Mesmerizing true and real natural beauty. As mentioned earlier by few guys who stayed there, the way to the resort is itself a pleasure. The route is just amazing and gives the feeling as if one is enroute safari. Highly recommended by me.

Wonderful place...very nice ambience...great food and service was outstanding. The check-in and check-out experience, restaurants, and spa were great. Large variety of birds are there in resort area and nearby forest area.one of the best place to enjoy weekend with your friends and feel the relax in the laps of nature, overall view of forest during day tine give you immense happiness and in dark nights loud voice animals will lead bit scary phase.

Overall the resort is good, nice clean rooms but here is why I do not recommend this place specially in the moonsoon at all, the approach road is a half broken rocky bridge on which cars cant pass, when we reached there and called the reception we did not receive any support , within 5 mins it started raining and the entire bridge got flooded, if our car had been stuck we would have actually flooded along. We again called the place multiple times and got no support, finally we had to navigate ourselves through on foot through a nearby village road to reach the reception.The least ivy resort could have done was to explain this situation before hand and at least invest in a decent approach road and offer support when they know certain guests are stuck in the middle of a flooded road with heavy rains.Overall other things were okay but will not book this resort again due to this experience.

The place is nicely organised and constructed, its a perfect place for families and couples. One can spend their weekends nicely over here. This resort is large and have many amenities like cycling, swimming pool, outdoor cafe, restaurant, lawn etc. Suites are of double height, nice interiors. Ambience is good as its in between a forest area.

Reviews of this resorts were really high but its an old resort and probably not maintained for last 10 years. The room we first got was not at all upto the standards then we were given an upgraded room on paying some extra buks because there was no extra room available for the type of room we booked initially. The new room was good. Major negative was No free wifi in the rooms. Swimming pool was fine not really clean though. But Food was really good.

We had wedding celebration at Iris.food was awesome ,staff was awesomeGreat hospitalitySpecial mention to Mr juginder, harish, Dinesh.They all went all the way to make our stay memorableThe resort is located in the jungle on the banks of kosi river.The head chef Mr. Nadlaal made the food according to our taste.....he took care of the kids food too...Thanks Iris for the great experience

A good plush green hideaway to go with a friends or family group. Courteous staff ready to go step in step with you.The food is good too.Our only concerns were few electrical problems in their newly constructed suits wings and the pool which the guys managed to clean only by 10:30am in the morning with checkout time right at the corner.
