I had given a laptop for repair as motherboard was short. I told the issue was that the MB shorted everytime I put in a battery. He repaired and said there wont be any problems.Later I found out that he had disconnected the Discreet Graphics Card from the motherboard. He had not told me that the repair would involve removing the graphics card.After that I tried to insert a Dell Genuine Battery which again shorted the motherboard but this time it completely fried the motherboard. Now, I took it to one shop he tried for three days but says it cant be repaired and the motherboard needs to be replaced. Thats an extra Rs. 8000. Rs. 3200 for battery and Rs. 1500 for repairs.Thats in total 8000+3200+1500 = Rs.12700 total cost because one short cut taken to repair.
