In the month of January, I had visited this place to attend religious function.Just opposite to Rajkot Railway (junctio) Station, this is the oldest Hostel facility for Students of Saurashtra ,developed by Thakersy group of Bombay. In early days Bhatiya boarding was most sought after place in Rajkot,from where Britishers were controlling all the states of Saurashtra. From all parts of Saurashtra Students use to come to Rajkot city for further education at colleges and educational institutes.Bhatiya boarding is now,popularly known as BHATIYA WADI. Reason? These days hardly any student join for Hostel,hance this place is more important for religious functions,or marriage functions and other, social geathering. They have immaculate multy facility a/c hall where crowd of 150-200 can easily accommodated. Large dining area,kitchen area. And living facilities for 30-50 people.,but the place needs round the clock cleaning, ,there is dirt every where, dirty wash rooms. Maintenance is a major problem. If sufficient care is applied with wast area on hand, this place can be transformed to best social activity.

The community hall, which is quite close to the main train station of the city, is well-equipped with many amenities and is perfect for weddings or other social events. The main hall is very large and has a stage. The catering facilities and banquet space are also spacious and convenient. Parking facilities are also sufficient. All in all, nice and convenient in all ways.
