This cake was just - all around - not the vibe. I usually try not to leave bad reviews, but it’s the fact that I called this place and told them my concerns, they said they’d call back, and didn’t.. that’s the reason I’m leaving this review. First off, the cake looked so far off from my picture. It just wasn’t clean. It was a messy job. It looked like it got put together last minute. Second of all, I called like a week before picking up the cake to change JUST THE FROSTING to chocolate. I even confirmed with that lady I was on the phone with. I asked “the cake is strawberry, right?” She said, “yes.” I got my cake, it was all chocolate with vanilla frosting. This cake was for my wife who very much dislikes chocolate cake. I would not recommend this place if you’re looking for a clean, precise, on point cake. (P.S. the first picture is what I wanted, the rest are what I got).

I am very disappointed with my cake.First of all, my requests were not done even though they charge me more for my request. It seemed like the decorator did not even read requests. Four days before pick up, the lady called me and said she cannot write number 2 on the side and wondering if she can do on the top of the cake. My request was number 2 on top of the cake standing. Not on the side. When I went to pick up the cake, I was very disappointed. Number two was laying on top of the cake. I requested dripping looking like ice cream melting, it wasn’t done. I was told the name would have done on the white square background fontanel to make it stand out and put on the side but that wasn’t done. When I paid more for those request. It was about $80 for 6 inch cake.Because decorators left already for the day, Staff helped to get it fixed. They printed number 2 on the paper and used a straw to make it stand. They make strips to look like dripping. It was better and i thank them. But still I paid $10 for paper number 2 and $10 for strips for dripping. Not to mention, the name wasn’t unable to get it fixed. I had to wait 40minutes. Overall, the cake wasn’t clean. It was messy. It was messy after removing number two, which was laying on. I asked to cover with sprinkles and staff added sparkles to make it better. Staff tried her best. I appreciate them.Staff told me her manager would call me to refund some money but I have not received a call.It is very dissapeointng experience.

Picked up my daughters birthday cake. Looked great and tasted great. Definitely recommend this place and will be getting our next cake from here again.

We hired Delightful Bites Cakery to design and make our wedding cake. They did a phenomenal job of creating a beautiful and delicious cake! The process of meeting with the bakery and tasting cakes was so enjoyable and easy. The cake was delivered on time and looked stunning in our venue and was exactly what we were hoping for.

I am very disappointed in the customer service I have received at Delightful Bites Cakery. Over the years I have frequented this bakery and I have always been pleased. However, if you look at the picture below you can tell that they misspelled something and tried to go back over it and the quality of the handwriting on the cake is awful. When you pay $84.00 for a cake you expect better quality that what I received. My husband picked the cake up and even stated to the staff that the handwriting on the cake was awful and you could tell they messed up as you see in the photo. They did offer to fix it however, they already tried and you see what we received. They did offer another alternative but by this time it was to late the party was scheduled for that evening and the point of the matter is when you pay $84.00 for a cake you would never expect for a business to let it leave out of the bakery looking like that. The owner Sam did contact me by email not by phone. Basically apologized stated they offered several ways to resolve the problem but again it should have never came to that and the cake should have never been given to my husband looking that way. Sam and I emailed back and forth a couple of times he still never called to speak with me directly which I was highly disappointed in after all you are the business owner and should address problems directly not behind an email. I wasnt looking for a refund but maybe a future credit or a partial refund would have been nice. I could have went to publix paid probably more than half of the price and the cake taste just as good! Highly disappointed in this bakery and I will not return! This is whats wrong with the world! Take responsibility that the cake given to us was not up to par for the amount of money we paid! Our time is just as valuable as you and your staff and we didnt have the time to return the cake to have it fixed again it should have never been given to us that way!

I showed them a picture of the cake and cupcakes I wanted and they Nailed it . Thank you so much for my son Tom and jerry cake and cupcakes.

Thank you for my beautiful cake, it not only was pretty on the outside but was delicious on the inside. The strawberry cake is amazing. I see some of these reviews and realize you can not make everyone happy and it is best to always try it and get your own opinion. I not only will be back to get all my cakes but will recommend to my friends. The staff has always been helpful and offer to carry my purchases to my car.

Everything I’ve had from here is delicious! We ordered a large cake for an 80th birthday party and ate on it for days! It was one of the most delicious cakes I’ve ever had, and it was very nice looking too!

I am beyond pleased with my experience working with Delightful Bites Cakery!!! I gave special/Specific instructions on what cake I needed for my Corporate event and they followed through immaculately!!! They even did a follow up call to make sure everything they were doing was what I wanted. The staff was amazing, professional, polite and a joy to work with. When I arrived for pick up not only was I amazed by their work I was amazed by the customer service provided...they even walked the cake out to my car and gave me special instructions to insure its longevity!!!😊

I gave the staff very specific introductions and they didn’t follow them. I asked them NOT to put clouds on the cake, I asked them to put the stars as if they were coming down the cake and I asked them to write the wording in pink and blue. I will not be going back.

DELICIOUS CAKE! I’m talking better than Publix cake! We ordered our wedding cake from Delightful Bites last year and it was DELICIOUS! We just had our **free** one year anniversary cake and of course it was just as delicious. We got the cookies and cream flavored cake with white chocolate Bavarian cream in the middle and cream cheese icing on top (naked style cake so not too much icing).

Delightful Bites made a delicious and gorgeously crafted Harry Potter birthday cake for my daughter. There was a ton of fondant work that was detailed and complicated but they did it all perfectly. It looked exactly like the photo we gave them! Thank you Delightful Bites!

My husband and I chose Delightful Bites to do our wedding cake last year, and we were not disappointed. The cake was deliciously moist and decorated exactly as we requested. People kept asking me where we got the cake from all night! Of all the places we sampled cake at, this was definitely the best. So many great options, it was hard to choose!

Every time I visit Augusta, I make time to stop by Delightful Bites. Not only is everything they carry absolutely delicious, you can tell lots of effort was put in to the decorating of the goods. My FAVORITE goodies are their sugar cookies... always soft and moist! The staff are always pleasant and helpful.

I ordered a wedding cake from this bakery a year ago. The cake was beautiful and looked exactly how I wanted it to. However, I was informed when I ordered my wedding cake that when my first year wedding anniversary came they would make a cake for that occasion, free of charge. My husband has contacted this bakery numerous times about being able to get this cake for our anniversary. Each time he is given a run around about how they need to find the invoice, and that they will give him a call back. We have never received a call back.

Staff was extremely. Fabulous customer service. Strawberry lemonade cupcake was fantastic

I am beyond pleased with my experience at Delightful Bites. The staff is always pleasant and eager to take my orders. I recently stopped in and was impressed to see that this bakery is taking precautions during the Covid Pandemic. The shop is always clean and I appreciate the plastic barriers hung from the ceiling. If you’re looking for friendly clean service, this is the place!

Everything I have had at Delightful Bites has been wonderful! Specifically, I love the raspberry DB bars. Everyone in the store was pleasant, helpful, and extremely accommodating. I am definitely a lifelong customer of Delightful Bites!

They did an amazing job on my sons 3 their blues cues cake for his 2nd birthday. ! The characters all look great. So thankful.

I visited Delightful Bites to pick up something last minute for a friends birthday. The cakes they had ready were absolutely beautiful! Lots of delicious options and great staff!

My toy story themed cake and cup cakes were awesome!!! They did a wonderful job decorating and the cake was so moist!! Great job ladies!!! I will definitely be using you again!!

I had Delightful Bites do my wedding cake. Let me say they went above and beyond with my cake. It was so beautiful , everyone loved it. We had no cake left at the end of then night. I am so happy with the quality of service and work they had.

I was visiting family in the area from New York. I stumbled upon this bakery. I purchased their Delightful Bites Bar. I thought I died and went to Heaven. I will definitely take some home.If your in the Evans Area in Georgia dont pass this bakery by.

I ordered unicorn cookies and a cake for my nieces birthday and both were so beautiful and yummy! Great service as well. Highly recommend.

Excellent customer service! Best bakery in town. They have beautiful cakes, cupcakes, brownies, and delicious gourmet cookies!

I ordered peanut butter cake for my husband’s birthday and it was the best cake I’ve ever had! Definitely will come back to that place. Also their cupcakes are amazing!

Yes, their cakes taste good. However, we booked them for our wedding and I even sent emails on how our cake should look and it looked nothing like the email.. they added things onto the cake without even asking us first AND they didn’t put our cake topper that I gave them on our cake..I got this cake topper custom made and this was unbelievably upsetting. I will never place an order with them again.

Love the selection and they very friendly staff. Highly recommend

The best in the business. They have done both my daughters graduation cake and now college😍🔥😍🔥😍🔥

My husband promotion cake was amazing. Great job.

I highly enjoy going to this store, all the time I get good service and great sweets as well. Especially the lemon bars

Friendly staff beautiful cakes

Just stopped in for the first time and it was a very nice little bakery. I had the chocolate chip, salted caramel, and pecan cookie and it was delicious. I also got a trio of beautiful looking cupcakes. The new owner helped us out and was very friendly.

The cupcakes are delicious.

Great bakery!! I love it all, especially the coconut cupcakes. Keep doing what youre doing. I love it.👍👍👍👍👍

I ordered my sons birthday cake a month in advance and had ZERO issues on the day of. I was extremely nervous but I called a day before to confirm all was well and ask if they needed further clarification on anything. I went this morning and they showed me the cake before I left, and my son was so happy. It was everything I asked for. They definitely did a great job paying attention to the inspo pic I sent and the cake tasted amazing. It was very moist. Everyone gave compliments, I highly recommend this bakery. I would suggest always calling to check in and check your order thoroughly before leaving. That way if it doesn’t meet your expectations you can at least talk to them so they could make it right.

I have bought four cakes from this bakery. While the cakes are very good, they are far too expensive. This cake bakery appears to be concentrating on the looks a custom cake rather than a beautiful, tasty old fashioned bakery cake. Their six inch vanilla cake is $35 plus $10 for icing if the icing top includes flowers or design. The total cost was $48.60 for 8 slices of cake. The 8 inch cake was $60 plus. Each of these cakes average $6 per slice. I am originally from Tallahassee, Florida. My bakery was The Cake Shop. Their 8 inch vanilla cake with buttercream icing was $24.00 plus tax. Their cake was superior in taste to DBC. They baked old fashioned delicious cakes.

Very satisfied and highly recommended; she baked me a Carolina panthers cake and it was awesome.

Ordered my sons birthday cake from here. It was exactly what he wanted and it was delicious!! Highly recommend this place!

They went above and beyond. We ordered a specialty cake on very short notice, this cake was absolutely incredible. Much better than we imagined. The staff is fantastic. We will definitely recommend them. We are extremely pleased with the whole experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Delightful Bites is the best.

ONE WORD: DELICIOUS!! This is our favorite bakery in Augusta. Everything tastes amazing and the presentation is just as wonderful. The cakes are beautifully decorated...you almost feel guilty cutting into them. Great family owned bakery!

Just about the best cake shop in town.

Ordered my sons wedding cake and it was absolutely beautiful. Everyone enjoyed it. It was delicious. Susan was kind enough to let us keep the cake there and they also delivered it to the reception. Thank everyone there for the wonderful cake. Bride and groom were happy and loved it.

I order a cake for Labor Day weekend birthday party the Cake was beautiful They do have a great customer service when I when to pick up the cake the cake was ready Right on time the one thing that I was disappointed the cake was too sweet even my guest was complaining about how sweet the cake was .

I purchased 2 cakes for my daughters wedding reception and was shocked when I picked them up. They were plain, just some pattern on the cakes, but nothing said wedding cake. The cakes were moist and delicious and traveled well in the horrid heat but for what I paid I was shocked at what I receivedThe customer service was really good, but honestly, I believe their wedding cakes are overpriced..After seeing the reply, I have to apologize for the comment on the plain cake. Since my daughter wanted that then so be it! the bottom line, she was happy and loved the cakes as well as the attendees, that is all that matters. I am changing to 5 stars! By the way, the cake pops are awesome!

The cake was beautiful but expensive. And that would have been fine but the cake was supposed to be for 30 people and it was very small! It was an $100 cake that maybe fed 15 people. We had to cut it into slivers just for everyone to get a piece. Disappointed will be going somewhere else next time for an event.

While visiting my daughter and son-in-law, last month, I started craving something sweet, Macarons to be EXACT. So, we took a ride to Delightful Bites. The macarons were delicious, especially cranberry and the passionfruit. Then, I started picking out cookies, then I laid my eyes on these little containers of Chicken salad, I got one of them. This chicken salad, I ate on crackers, had grapes and pecan pieces....and it was soooooo good !! I had enough leftover, I put it in the fridge for a late night sandwich but later that night when I went to get it ,my daughter told me Its in my belly, I finished it I held her down and tickled her, demanding my chicken salad back.!!! Now, Im back home in Louisiana, searching the internet for a recipe to try and recreate that chicken salad. I have a feeling Ill be going to Delightful bites on Every visit from now on.

We have loved their cupcakes for awhile, and picked them to make our wedding cake! They did an amazing job, it was moist and delicious and everyone loved it. The baker worked very hard to find the decoration we wanted (numerous phone calls) and was always extremely friendly and helpful! Would definition recommend.

Delightful bites is a delicious delight! Today was my first visit, but I will definitely be back! I purchased some sugar cookies with butter cream frosting, and toffee cookies. My mom loves toffee and was over the moon when she tasted the cookies! I am really impressed by the cute designs done with butter cream frosting. The cookies are perfect! My only regret was not buying more

Great place to grab some goodies. We love their cup cakes. The price seems steep if you have never shopped for professionally done baked goods. I was thoroughly impressed. I hope this gem stays around for a long time. The only downside is they are frequently busy. But this is due to the demand of their superb baking.

Cookie monster would love this place! Tried 2 of their cookies,a peanut butter and salted chocolate cookie. Delightful!! That must be where they got the name.

I purchased a birthday cake from this location, it was beautifully decorated, however I asked for strawberry filling and I got maybe 2 tablespoons and for this cake was like a pencil line between layers the cake was also very, very dry. For the price I paid 54.00 I could have done better at Public’s for much less. I am not impressed at all.

We are new to the Augusta area and needed a birthday cake for our daughters 7th birthday party. Best cake we have ever had! Frosting and cake was extremely moist and delicious! Our guests asked where we got our cake from because they said it was delicious too. Thank you for Naomi’s unicorn cake !

Amazing cake!!Beautifully done, it was truly the center of attention. The taste was just perfect. Frosting was awesome. I will never get grocery cakes again. The price is well worth it. To see the look on everyones face especially my fathers was truly worth every penny. Thank you for making my dads 80th birthday a day to remember.

They created a beautiful cake for my daughters 5th birthday. The cake tasted wonderful too!

I purchased a cake for a birthday. I sent in a picture of what I wanted and they were very nice and professional. I was asked to provide the figurines for the cake, and I provided them although I thought they would. The cake was 2 tier, 2 flavors, and had a little decorations on it. It was $108 and fed about 18 people. I thought the cake was going to be a nice size, but it was rather small to me. The cake was pretty and tasted average. The decoration was supposed to be pink and purple, but they were pink and blue.

Absolutely the best loved my wedding cake it was moist and tasty. The designer made it very beautiful I would recommend anyone to get there sweets there. Besides the wonderful cake we didnt have to save the top of it for our anniversary they will make one for us a year from now that is just great. I really loved their service and will definitely return. Thank you for everyday and contributing to my special day....

Best cupcakes in town! Reasonable prices. The macaroons werent our favorite but still good. its definitely the only cupcake shop that I know of that makes its own pimento cheese which is pretty good. A bit cheesier tasting than Im used to but worth a try

Ive been here three times already since first discovering it a few months ago. The ladies here are always energetic, smiling, and ready to serve their customers! This was the first place in town that I could find that sold macarons at the time, so I was eager to try them. And they were definitely worth it! The cupcakes are probably my favorite, though! The service was fast and satisfactory!

Simply magnificent !!!!! This was the second time that Ive had a cake made and they never fail to surprise me. My daughter 16th birthday cake was astonishing. I simply told them to go for it and was over joyed with the result! Id recommend these wonderful professionals 10 out of 10 times!Once again delightful bites has done anoutstanding and an amazing job. Made this rose cake at my request and I was blown away. Thank you to the staff and all that were involved.See you next time!!

Amazing! Best decorated cookie I have ever had. The cookie itself is a little over an inch thick! Only place in town that I could find that would decorate the entire cookie as a soccer ball. Other bakeries would only frost a border around the edge. It was decorated wonderfully and tasted amazing!

Tanked after their lead decorator quit.

Delicious food. Every recipe is great and Im quite the picky eater. If they have it, get the strawberry French toast cupcake! Its the best! Also, they put cherries in their brownies, which make them so much tastier and add more flavor.

Delightful Bites has THE BEST tasting cake I have ever had! My favorite is white cake with strawberry buttercream but I crave anything and everything that they offer! They always have an amazing selection of cupcakes, cookies, cake pops, and even big cakes. The staff is so helpful and easy to work with! Best cakes in Augusta, hands down!

I ordered a cake from out of state for my daughters first birthday party. I was nervous because I would not see it until the day of the party. I am happy to say that it was perfect; looked beautiful and tasted delicious! We got so many compliments (especially on the marble). Thank you :)

I live in FL and my Fiance was having to spend his birthday in Augusta. I wanted to surprise him with cupcakes from a local bakery. I am so happy I chose your bakery. You were friendly from the start and delivered an amazing product to my fiance, definitely making his birthday special even though hes not at home. I cant thank you enough!!

Mixed experiences w the sweet treats .. but over all; Delicious. I live for the Chicken Salad. Staff always polite and personable. 😊

Very delightful establishment. Beautiful jewelry and they do everything in their power to be helpful. Great place for resizing rings and doing repairs. A place with honest people willing to go out of their way.

Great customer service and delicious macaron cookies.

I didnt even get a chance to look at a cake. They were having a birthday party on the show room side behind a wall, with about 7 people. As I entered, I was asked to look at the cakes from across the room. Very unprofessional to have clients look at cakes from across the room. I specifically said, my wedding cake...why would I look at wedding cakes from across the room. Now I understand if you are renting out your space to have a private party, well in that case you need to close for business....Delightful Bites lost the opportunity to possibly make several cakes for my wedding day. I hope that the 7 person birthday party was worth it! I felt as if my business was not relevant or worthy!

If I could leave no stars I would. There are no words to convey how thoroughly dissatisfied my mother and I are with this product. The petit fours were uneven in height, sloppy frosted, and some falling over. I wouldnt advise using this bakery even in dire straits.

When I need a cake for a special occasion this is the only place I go. Ive gotten my sons birthday cake here the past 3 years and always get more cake than can seem to get eaten at the party. Luckily, because the product is so freakin delicious I dont have people arguing with me when I try to send home the excess with them. My son is always impressed with the designs as well. Thats what matters to a 6 year old, the look, and the amazing frosting. We also love stopping by for the occasional diet cheat cupcake!

They have the best cakes in town with different flavors to die for. Professional employees with pleasant attitudes. I love them bring in a picture and they recreate it on the cake! 💘 them!

This cake was done to the exact specifications requested! Very easy to order and the cake was to DIE for! The cake fed 30-35 people and we only have 15. Needless to say it was all gone! The staff was super friendly when we picked it up. I would HIGHLY recommend this place for specialty cakes 100%!

I love this place!

Many choices all delicious but deciced to try the cocolate chip cookie. Great customer service and they offer something new each week flavors change and cupcakes also.

Best cupcakes in Augusta/Martinez/Evans.Any where!! 🎂😍

I purchased my wedding cake from this bakery and was extremely disappointed. I felt like I was more proactive than the bakery in contacting them. I paid for the cake early and showed them exact pictures of what I wanted. I dont even know how to describe what they produced. It looked like something from an amateur baker. When I called Dahn, the head baker about this, she told me that shed done the best she could with what she thought I wanted. I asked for a naked (frosting free cake) and she delivered a poorly frosted cake. No room for confusion on such a simple matter. My advice. Go somewhere else. Not worth the cost.

We booked them to do our wedding cake and they exceeded our expectations! Thank you Delightful Bites!

I have been coming to Delightful Bites Cakery for well over a year (honestly cant believe how long it took me to review) and it is my wife and Is favorite place to get quality dessert. They made the cake for our wedding almost a year ago, which still gets rave reviews to this day. The staff is always sweet, especially Ms. Sharon! She always greets customers with a warm smile and sets the atmosphere of the cakery. I COMPLETELY recommend this place to anyone with a sweet tooth!

I asked for a red velvet cake, I was given butter cream frosting instead of creamcheese, didnt realize it was the wrong frosting until we cut and ate the cake, the birthday boy didnt make a fuss about it but you want things to be right for special days...also the planner didnt tell the decorators that the cake was for a male so the original cake was pink, green, purple (made for a girl). They redid it and it looked nice.. all in all I ended up eating the cake myself, it was good but not the red velvet we wanted. I give it 3 stars because the decorator was extremely nice.

It smells heavenly as you open the door. I wish they were open 24/7! Basic cupcake with buttercream icing is absolutely delightful, aptly named store.

AMAZING!!!! Absolutely love this place!!! Great communication! Great pricing! Excellent service! Amazing cake!!! Ordered a Jeep cake for my boyfriends birthday, and it turned out fantastic!! Great taste! Will definitely order from here again! Also purchased a hot fudge sundae cupcake (impulse buy) and it was absolutely delicious!!! Definitely recommend!

The cake was absolutely delicious, but We lost a lot of it because they did not leave a Box for us to put it in when it was time to go home. Also for 700.00 I expected more.

Very nice, cute little spot with the most delightful smells when you walk in. I will definitely be back again.

EXCELLENT service. I got all smiles and a very warm welcome! The cup cakes are delish!! The prices are very reasonable and very affordable. I honestly wanted to buy everything displayed lol. Ill be back for sure! 😁👌

They always help me with special requests and the final product is beautiful and delicious!

One of the best bakery that ln used for birthday in my family.

Literally the best cupcakes Ive had in this state for a reasonable price. The cakes are very beautiful as well. Busting with flavor.

Cake done for my granddaughters birthday was delicious and beautiful. The lady at the counter that night was such a great help

Good samples, and made sure that they took the order correctly.

Just left there and they were very friendly. I purchased three different cupcakes and just being frank, that was one of the driest red velvet cupcakes that I have ever had. Im very disappointed. Im so glad that I sampled them before I put in an order.

Omg the best bakery ever , its like eating a little Haven

I bought a cupcake for my son, and it smelled AMAZING. Alas, that was all I got, just a whiff. :( . There was no minimum for a debit purchase.

PERFECT!!!!!My wife and I called Delightful Bites Cakery just one day before we needed the cake. They energetically told us that (even though it was not routine practice) they would be able to fulfill our request to have my wifes favorite cake (black forest) for her birthday. Typically, I myself do not eat sweets but after just one bite I am HOOKED. The frosting on her cake did not taste sugary AT ALL. It had a flavor that was very smooth to eat. My wife said that the cake was the very best black forest cake she had ever had due to the fact that most cakes of that flavor tend to be just a little too sweet for her taste. This cake however, was made with the PERFECT amount of ingredients and touch. I cannot express my gratitude enough for Delightful Bites Cakerys ability to take on a tight deadline and then deliver a SUPERIOR product at a more than fair price. We will continue to take our business here as well as recommend it to all who want to truly experience what a cake should taste like. THANK YOU DELIGHTFUL BITES CAKERY!!!

They have so many flavors of cupcakes and they can make a million more flavors!!! Lovely people and delicious cupcakes

Super nice staff and delicious cake pops!!

Love their variety of cupcakes! Everything I’ve tried here is wonderful.

Walked in one day with my mother and wasnt greeted by anyone that worked there. I dont know if this lady was the owner or not but she was talking to another customer and couldnt even stop and say shed be with us in a moment. No one was at the register so we waited and stood there for about five minutes. So after the wait with no acknowledgement, I felt my money wasnt needed nor wanted so we just left. I dont know much about their cupcakes but the customer service was terrible. That should be your first priority. But yall have plenty of competition in town so its all good.

They are amazing very nice people and there cakes are awesome highly recommend you go there
