Very Beautiful shakti peeth temple with lot of religious significance in Rajbiraj and surrounding areas. It is known to be since Vedic era and belongs to family of Kushadhawaja, Brother of King Shiradhawaja Janak, who ruled the area. It is said that there were small shrines of Mandavi, ShrutiKirti and Urmila nearby, which have lost over time due to floods problem. The temple was rebuilt by Sen Dynasty in 14th Century and rebuilt again recently. Wednesdays are main day of puja.

Must visit for every hindu as as per legends Shrutkirti and Mandavi, wife of Satrughan and Lakshman were born in Mithila to King Kushadhwaja. Lot of people from Bihar visit this place every year because of power of Mata Rajdevi. Jai Ma Rajdevi.

Mandavi, Shrutkirti and Urmila were born around this place as per legend. Kushadhwaja ruled this area. Very old idols in temple.
