Its an Interstate Bus terminal which caters bus services to passengers come from adjoining States like: Maharashtra, Odisha, Up , MP and JharkhandIt provides basic facilities : public convenience, , shops, restaurant ,food court, well equipped lounge n waiting hall as well as 3-star hotel will also be provided in same premises at top floorThis terminal has been designed to facilitate 150 buses at a time and can accommodate 300 buses in it bay.Its first ISBT in Chhattisgarh, after its completion state govt is planning to setup four more ISBT in Raipur in outskirts of each direction so that citys traffic will not distub.

My frist visit to raipur, I am searching for roadways bus stand(government bus stand) but there is intercity bus service operated by CG govt.Overall this bus stand is in main city and lots of buses available for all cities of CG as well as others state..Basically is have pick a bus from Raipur to allahabad my home town.

City and private buses will also be operated: Along with city buses plying in the city, private buses will also be operated from ISBT. Long-distance buses plying from other states and cities will not be given entry inside the city after the interstate bus stand is built. This will reduce the pressure of more than 500 buses on the roads of the city every day. The problem of traffic jams will also be reduced to a great extent by reducing the settlements.Buses from here will come to ISBTBuses coming from Bilaspur, Balodabazar, Odisha, Ambikapur, Kawardha and Rajnandgaon will reach this bus stand directly from the ring road. Buses going towards Jagdalpur or Gariaband ahead of Raipur will leave for these cities from the outer of the city via the Ring Road
