I made a quick visit all alone to this Temple two days after Diwali. The place didnt have any crowd and I was the only person standing in front of the Almighty when I got inside. The Temple is maintained very nicely and the Shiva Linga is just Majestic. The River Front behind the Temple is also getting developed in a nice way.

This temple is situated just beside Kharun River . The famous Laxman Jhula is just beside the temple. Its basically a Mandir Complex having several temples of different Gods. There are two big shops also in the Mandir Complex for souvenir .

Shri Hatkeshwar Mahadeo temple located at Kharun River bank. It is our Hinduism mythology place in Raipur District. Laxman Jhula in between Kharun River. Its very incredible place. There is a very beautiful garden on the other side of the Kharun River.

Located near Mahadev Ghat suspension bridge, most of the Ganesh idols are submerged here.

The temple was built in 1402 beside the river Kharun. In recent times many other temples have been built around it. You can hire one of the numerous boats on the steps of Mahadev Ghat and sail on the river. Scholars opine that the area around Mahadev Ghat comprised the first Kalachuri settlement in the Raipur region.

A very nice place. You will get complete peace which we try to find here and there rather we should go and spend some time in the temple.

Nice place to visit. Temple is just next to river. River is clean but you can see some littering at edges. Cable stayed bridge looks awesome. Must visit place with friends and family during rainy season.

Temple premises are maintained well, And recently constructed Laxman jhula nearby this temple attract more of local visitors. Built around the year 1428 by King Hajiraj on birth of his son maliraj on the occasion of Karthik Purnima and since then a 2-3 day fair is organised during Kartik Purnima every year.
