Medi health hospital is located behind Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University at Great Eastern road. This is very good hospital. Diabetic specialists are available here. Service is very nice. Rooms for patients are very good. Bathrooms are properly clean. Nurses provide time to time services. Proper arrangements for sitting are available. You can see in the image. This hospital has wheelchair accessible enterance. Building is nice. Parking place is not available here but its a colony area so you need not to worry about it. Doctors are good. Sufficient rooms are available. Overall its a good hospital.☺☺

Being a Long Review I will post this in Parts due to restriction of words limit.PART - 1To begin with I am an Defence Officer , 50 yr young who had been a physical fitness freak throughout my life. The adventure of army life is what I was always passionate about. This is a little long story, so if you really have the patience to hear everything from a patient who did not write his review for last two years since he wanted to give a factual and absolutely realistic feedback to others who are searching for the BEST DOCTORS (don t we all) for their orthopedic problems, than leave aside everything you are doing and read on.My fantastic adventurous life changed in a split of a moment when I met with a near fatal car accident in Nov 2016.My left knee was fractured from the patella with a 15 inch wound from my lower thigh to six inches below my knee. The Doc and support staff on duty of the nearby hospital where I was rushed by some bystanders who had called an ambulance, did a wonderful job of cleaning my wounds and stitching me. Brain MRI & X-rays were taken and to my relief no internal injuries were noticed. My face, chest, right hand and both legs were injured.Next day I was shifted to Govt Hospital where I again underwent all tests and after five days was operated on my left knee. The MRI of knee revealed the details of injuries, medical terminology being “Compound comminuted fracture Patella and Medial Condyle Femur (Left)”. I was operated and three screws were fitted in my knee for joining the fractured condyle with the Femur. I recuperated in the hospital for approx four weeks. After 7 days with help of the walker I started to walk to the park outside the officers ward to enjoy the warmth of the Sun in winters.Thereafter, I was discharged to report back to the hospital after four weeks of rest at home. The doctor who operated me told me that since your injury is severe and the load bearing joint has fractured, you would not be able to run but, would be able to do all other activities. This came as a shock but, I thanked god for giving me a new life and I pledged myself that Ok no running but at least I will be able to do cycling to keep myself fit.Slowly, I gave away the walker and started walking with help of a stick and did physiotherapy with a therapist who visited my home every day in the evening. But, there was only marginal improvement in the bending of my left leg which would bend only to about 40 deg.Thereafter, I rejoined duty and continued with the physiotherapy session with a very qualified physiotherapist . Also, I used to call another Physiotherapist in the evening who use to treat me in my room. This continued for approx four months but there was only a marginal improvement in the bending of my knee. I was able to climb up the staircase but, coming down was with lot of difficulty. The Physiotherapist would bend my knees even beyond the threshold limits of my pain tolerance but, I withstood all the pain in hope of improvement. My left leg gained lot of strength but only very marginal improvement in the bending movement up to 60 to 70 deg.To cut the story short, I could walk with a limp but could not ride a bicycle, due to restricted Range of Motion (ROM) of the knee. I had searched all the possible remedies in Internet but nothing improved my range of motion of left knee.I showed myself to the best of doctors in the North east, Delhi and Lucknow. Since I was desperate so some of my close friend in the Army suggested that there is Brig Dr HS Aggarwal who was Commandant of MH Kirkee (The best hospital for the Defence forces for Orthopedics) so why not take his opinion. So took some leave went to Pune and showed myself at Sancheti, Fortis and all other best hospitals for Orthopedics.

Recently my knee was operated for ACL and Medial Meniscus Tear at Medi Health Hospital Raipur by Brig HS Agarwal (Retd). The hospital staff were very cooperative and helpful. Brig HS Agarwal is a humble, caring and down-to-earth person despite being a well-known orthopaedic surgeon. Being a non-resident of Raipur I was pickup and drop to airport by the hospital, which makes easy for all those who want to get operated by his able and experienced hands. This review will be incomplete without mentioning Dr Tara Agarwal, who took great care of me during my hospital stay just like a family member would do. I was specially touched when I get to eat homemade foods. They provided the video of the entire operation to me, along with a weekly rehabilitation program in ppt format. My uncle Mr. Anil was suffering from severe shoulder pain . MRI reports stated tear of Supra and infraspinatus along with subscapularis . He was unable to raise his right hand . We had plans to go to DM hospital Pune for the treatment . COVID -19 spoiled our plans and then we met Dr. agarwal sir ( god in disguise) . My uncle was ready for treatment from him. Visited Brigadier doctor H S Agrawal who is an ex army service men and was amazed to see such a place and environment exist in Raipur. The hospital has a strong service oriented vibe which reflects the devoted nature of the doctors. Mrs Agrawal (She is a doctor too) is like a mother looking after patients like they are all family members. She was walking in the corridors talking to staff to patients and being absolutely involved with everyone, helping the treatment process as much as she can. Departments available are medicine, ortho, pediatrics and gynaecology. Staffed sufficiently with cleaning and nursing professionals. Very neat and clean premise with attentive staff, no food/pantry available for the admitted patients, one family member is required to stay with patient all the time.diagnosis by SS sir is always precise with an effort to cure it from the root (unless chronic)Medicines prescribed by SS sir is known to be effective, light (on patients pallet) and is on affordable side. NOTE: COVID-19 patients are treated ONLY IN HOME QUARENTINE, NOT IN THIS HOSPITAL.

And its exact the same. The hygiene , the comfort, food quality is at par . The way they look after there patients is an example for every hospital. I have heard a lot about Brig HS agarwal being an army officer . Sir has explained every detail to me and shown and given the video of my entire surgery (Meniscus tear.) I already had ACL reconstruction surgery in the same knee in 2015) He also gave a personal presentation about rahabilitation.he has got immense knowledge and experience in the orthoscopic surgeries and treatment. Dr Tara looks after the patient like a mother do to her children. This personal touch of their love and affection with the desired professionalism is an epitome of a home away from home . The staff is very courteous and helpful.They monitor you and your discomfort even at midnights and kept checking me throughout the night post surgery. I was on my legs immediately on the next day of surgery and started walking with slight pain. Visited this hospital with another doctor’s reference. After the very first meet the patient was convinced to get himself operated by Orthopedic Surgeon Dr H S Agarwal. Soon after the patient was admitted and operated for an Arthoscopic Rotator Cuff surgery. After a successful surgery the patient was admitted for 2 days post surgery. All the hospital staff - nurses, OT staff were active and extremely kind to talk. They kept regular check on the patient and made sure the patient was comfortable the whole time.As a family member I was extremely satisfied by the warm care the hospital staff expressed to the patient and my family too.The patient is 66 year old deaf and dumb who even with this disability is recovering just perfectly now.

I went to the hospital for a emergency case today at night 1p. m but there is no emergency service. The mane gate is closed. We had returned from out side of gate. So lam very disappointed to this hospital. The hospital is stay 200 meter from my home but there is no causality emergency service. I am giving rating zero.

I came to this hospital along with my mother-in-law for her knee replacement surgery. I had traveled from the US for her surgery. Overall, it had been a great experience 1) Dr. H.S. Agarwal and Dr. Tara Agarwal were available on the phone anytime - when I was in the US and also in India 2) The surgery went fine and she was kept in ICU for 1 day with good care 3) The most important thing all the doctors at the hospital Dr. H.S, Tara, Bhawana and SS Agarwal were extremely caring. They visited the patient many times and helped and motivate her to do exercise and think positively 4) The lab tests could be done at the facility itself and there is a phamacy available as well 5) The room and the facility were very clean and cleaners cleaned everyday. I stayed with my mother-in-law at the hospital and the stay was comfortable, and the rooms are all air-conditioned. I was working and my WiFi was not working and Dr. Tara Agarwal helped me to connect to the guest Wifi at the hospital. Overall, the doctors and staff were extremely caring and felt as if they belonged to our family. I will recommend anyone in Raipur or even from outside Raipur to consider this hospital for orthopaedic surgeries.

Dr Tara Agrawal was so kind and caring and ensured that my stay was as comfortable as possible. She sat with me and talked at lengths to ensure that I was being looked after properly. A big thank you to all the staff at the hospital who were the most affectionate people that I had ever seen. Post the surgery (which went very well), I had a lot of questions, which Dr HS Agrawal very patiently answered and sent me a schedule of the rehab, explaining all the necessary exercises and precautions. In the end I would say what makes a hospital the best are the doctors working there and this hospital has some of the best ones.

What comes to everyones mind from the words hospital surgery operation theatre & similar words..Answer for most of us is definitely not something very comfortable or pleasing.And similar was the case with me , a 19 year old guy having problem of herneated disc with unbearable pain since 1.5 yearsBut Medihealth is a place just opposite of words mentioned above.Its a place which will make you feel home , comfortable,hygienic.Everything is so well managed . The staff is so polite & well trained. It is one of the best hospital in India.And above all is the duo honourable H .S. Agrawal sir & his wife Tara Agrawal mam.I will literally go out of words and actually words are not enough to express me & my parents gratitude towards them.But I will try my level best to do it here.First of all cracking IIT - JEE exam would have been impossible without Sirs medical help and advice.And after sometime not only he suggested Dr.Goenka Sirs name for surgery but , dedicated his OT & hospital room for further treatment,more than that he actually was a crucial/essential part of my whole successful operation and treatment.As I have already mentioned words are not enough for him,but there are certain qualities of him which has built a trust & affection for him inside me & my parents heartDown to earth : sir is honoured with President Award but he actually helped ward attendant to take my stretcher from OTPatience : I actually annoyed him with my never ending queries related to surgery n health condition,he answered and reacted to each of them patientlyExpert : My successful and hassle free surgery is best example I can give .Tara maam is so careing & alert about the patients in hospital.The duo actually made me felt positive as I was depressed after surgeryLeast I can say is ,with sir & mam I felt I was with my parents.There non greedy attitude is cherry on the top.Operation theatre is so well equipped with everything so unique and latest .And I really feel blessed as I got best service ,hospital,staff ,doctors for my health issue at such a economical price.

Medihealth hospital is the best and friendliest hospital I have ever come across. Dr. H. S. Agrawal, a renowned army doctor, is an excellent surgeon. He fixed a complex bone problem my sister had.
