Its a private temple managed completely by the Shikerkar family. The temple celebrated its centenary year in 2018. The temple holds three festivals annually — Datta Jayanti (occuring in the month of December), Guru Dwadashi (occuring in the month of October) and Guru Pratipada (occuring in the month of February).The surrounding area is quite calm, blissful and serene making it an ideal place to seek solace from the stressful city life.
