Such an awesome restaurant. Had the Beef Tenderloin and it was great! Such bold flavors of the accompanying sauces, I would definitely order again. Great ambience and service as well. Its a bit on the expensive side, but considering its in Steamboat (at a prime location), and the high quality of the food, I can largely overlook the cost. I would definitely come back to Cafe Diva without hesitation.
My wife and I were highly impressed. Sophisticated atmosphere, extremely Pleasant staff and management, and the food was outstanding. We had the panzanella salad to start, which was bright and full of flavor. Then we shared the scallops, and beef tenderloin. I could not tell you what was the best, everything was so damn good. For dessert we did the cheesecake mousse. It was nice and Light, delicious. We will be back, highly recommend Cafe Diva.
We had a most amazing meal here, incredibly delicious at all points, appetizers, entrees and dessert. Alot of thought and creativity is obvious in creating the menu. Be prepared to spend a lot of money but its worth the whole experience. Casey and Connor were fantastic, couldnt have been better taken care of.

Very attentive service and the waitress knew the menu with detail I would strongly suggest that you go here for an outstanding dinner!
The best fine dining restaurant in the area! Loved the burrata panzanella salad.the surf @ turf is to die for; tried to savour the sauces to see if I can make them( in my dreams)! Pom Pom cocktail was perfect! Service was excellent! Colleen made this experience so relaxing and wonderful .I was able to taste the difference of what this chef is made of compared to others. You are magnificent
This restaurant exceeded our expectations. I am a plant based-vegan water and when we asked if they could modify things from their menu the server politely brought out a vegan specified menu!!! We ordered one of everything on the vegan menu! The entrees were the best chef prepared vegan meals I’ve had since adopting a plant based life 7 years ago! The wine list is exceptional and the staff are a professional team!
Potentially a great place... I called and no one answered, so we went there as google says open till 11pm but the employee was condescending and pretentious informing us they don’t seat after 8:45pm. Big wasted field trip and would have reconsidered but the employee interaction left a bad taste in my mouth.
Cafe Diva is an expensive Restraunt. Our meal cost $148, for an appetizer, two entrees, and two desserts. It was a lot more pricey then we usually spend but it was our 20th Wedding Anniversary so we did splurge. My husband, who is not a fine dinning guy didnt love the sauce for the Venison, but the venison was cooked well. I had the venison and scallops and both were cooked well. I didnt love the mustard sauce for the scallops because of fennel in it, but other than that I did like the dish. The huge plus for me was that their gluten free options were almost exactly the same as the regular menu. They accommodate my gluten free needs with excellence. Emma, our server, was very attentive along with everyone else.In summary, the meal was expensive, but was well prepared and presented. It was what you would expect from a fine dinning experience. We didnt prefer some of the Chefs choices in flavors but that wasnt on the chef as much as our preferences.
I was always under the assumption that the best food in Steamboat was down from the village in the town. Boy was I wrong! Cafe Diva is simply one of the finest dining establishments I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Fantastic service. Unreal food. Amazing time!Pro tip: you need to make a reservation 2-3 months or so in advance. If you cannot get a reservation, show up about 20-30 minutes before opening, and they will be happy to sit you at the bar (with full dinner service!).

Went here for my birthday and it was the icing on the cake! Cafe Diva, talk about FANCY! My wife and I had a good experience and had some incredible food!! Who doesnt like Elk Tenderloin?? She got a Chicken Green Chile Tortilla Soup that was outstanding! Friendly staff and very hospitalbe. Definitely a must go to in Steamboat Springs.

The food is worth the price, but the price only allows us to go once every year or two. My wife and I make it worth it by enjoying every bite. For our 10th wedding anniversary, we decided to go seafood heavy, which might be strange choice for a Colorado restaurant in late June. However, the weather was in the 80s and white wine was on the mind. We ordered cocktails and waited to order apps. After a fun vodka basil-strawberry lemonade and a whiskey Daisy, we moved on to Crab and Shrimp Balls. Glenn (sommelier) helped us chose a wine from a region close to where we honeymooned. The wine paired great with Halibut and Scallops (the scallops closely won as best meal). Chocolate options for dessert, we went with the newly released chocolate caramel brulee cheesecake.Growing up in Colorado and having lived in Steamboat for about 10 years, I can say this is one of the only places in Colorado I would recommend seafood and I would put it up against may coastal restaurants for seafood.
This restaurant is taking dining in steamboat to another level. Cafe Diva is the total package.Literally every time I sit down for dinner here I cant remember the last time i had a better meal. I have been lucky enough to eat here multiple times, and each time they seem to raise the bar to a new level.Last night Andy cooked us a mushroom stuffed ravioli, which basically changed my life. Its difficult to find pasta done right anywhere, and this was not only cooked perfectly, but the flavors were complete, well rounded, and tied together seamlessly. The smoked ricotta finished it off perfectly. Wow. Kate, Andy, and the crew in the kitchen never fail to execute, and they are always consistent. Dont leave without trying the venison, hands down one the best steaks Ive had anywhere.Our server Emily was genuine, and authentic. She took the time to get to know us, and what we were looking for, before making her reccomendation. Very professional, and most importantly fun!! Paul, Casey, and Emily went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The family atmosphere at Cafe Diva is really what makes the overall customer experience here stand out as being unique.This team was impressive. Amazing wine and food. Started with the peanut butter and bacon sandwiches and the foie gras which were both wonderful. For the entrees, we had the scallops, beef tenderloin, and the sea bass. They were all very good. Our favorite was the sea bass. The creme brulee for dessert was outstanding. Overall, an amazing meal!

We go to Cafe Diva every time we are in Steamboat. Best food ever! We are blown away every single time we eat there. The staff at Cafe Diva are top notch, it’s an all around incredible experience! You’re missing out if you don’t come here while visiting Steamboat.
In Steamboat for the weekend and wanted to give this restaurant a try. Did not have a reservation so we called them and they said that reservations are full but they reserve 50% of their tables for walk ins so we went. First off, the lady who happened to be “filling in” told us our children, 8 and 2 years old needed to wear masks because “it’s the CO law”. It’s not. Children under 10 don’t need to wear a mask under CO law. As a matter of fact, my 2 year old is advised to not wear a mask. After about 8 minutes of wait and reassurance that they’d be right with us, we were told that they couldn’t accommodate our party of 9. What a waste of time. For an upscale restaurant, they should hire someone to attend to the phones and tell people they’re full.
My wife and I enjoyed our 7th year anniversary here! Their filet was one of the best that we’ve had! Appetizers were great too and service was EXCEPTIONAL

My girlfriend and I ate here for our anniversary. Staff got us in quickly despite not having a reservation and were super friendly. Had wine, appetizers, main course and dessert. Every course was excellent. Will definitely be coming back!

Amazing service by Cafe Diva. From the time we called for a reservation straight through our dessert service, Cafe Diva was outstanding. Each course was flavorful and beautifully presented. The Winter Salad and Dust Miller dessert were definite highlights for us. Cafe Diva also expertly timed the dinner service, allowing us a leisurely pace. Will definitely come back next time we are in Steamboat!
Had a lovely meal here to celebrate my husbands birthday! We have not been our since COVID until this weekend and the restaurant is taking great precautions and made us feel so comfortable and safe. We had the potstickers, spring rolls, wedge salad and surf and turf all split. It was a great amount of food for two people (we took a little of the surf and turf home) and all was delicious! we finished the night with the lemon cheesecake mouse which they comped as it was my husbands birthday, so kind! Casey our server was one of the best weve ever had. Made great recommendations, my water glass was never empty, and was all around lovely. Others of the staff we interacted with (I am sad I dont know their names!) are fantastic as well. If you go, come hungry as the food is delicious and tip generously as they are working hard to keep up with current standards and precautions and will allow you a stress free evening. That is priceless! Thank you all who were working on July 6th ❤️

Cafe Diva has great food and a lovely vegan menu-but you have to ask for it. The food was very good, but we were disappointed that we were not offered the bread service. The wild rice vegan dish was over salted. However, it was overall excellent service, food, and presentation.

Enjoyed their date night on Sundays, where you choose an individual appetizer and meal, then share a dessert. Great deal! The service was wonderful (thank you, Kelly!), and the food was great. Best of all, it was walking distance from our hotel, so we didnt have to worry about driving back. ;) We will definitely return soon!

Probably the best meal Ive had at any fine dining restaurant in Colorado without a doubt. Excellent service, excellent atmosphere and above excellent food. Seriously a top notch place for a special occasion. Took my wife for our 39th anniversary and we were both extremely happy. I would highly, and I do mean highly recommend for a special occasion.

If you are a casual diner or have a refined palate, you will be very impressed with the food, the presentation (plate and verbal), and the staff. For the quality of food and service you will receive, it is moderately priced for this type of establishment with whom is obviously a very talented and creative chef. Try her crème brulee. You will not be disappointed. Im very picky and critical of restaurants. If I could give them 8/5 stars, I would.

Stupendous service, like really really above and beyond to ensure you’re having a good experience. Some unconventional dishes mixed in with creative takes on classic mainstays. Definitely not $$, somewhere between $$$ & $$$$, but reasonable for being in a ski village and providing truly memorable experiences between the hearty food and exceptional service.

One of the best meals weve had at a restaurant ever! We dont often eat out because we have very high standards and most restaurants just arent worth it to us. Café Diva was a wonderful, top notch experience. Definitely worth the money. The Sweet Corn Crème Brûlée was scrumptious and I loved the Venison Short Loin! Its also a very gluten-free friendly restaurant.
Best meal Ive had in years. We ordered every appetizer and the soups of the day and every single item was above and beyond decadent. The service was helpful without being awkward. The pumpkin cheesecake and tawny was the perfect ending to a perfect date.

What can be said about this place but...Wow! Truly amazing! As someone who travels the world, this humble establishment is one of the worlds best and its very clear how they are now celebrating their 20th year! Service here was outstanding from the greeting, to the wait service, to the warm handshake and thank you for coming upon our exit. As for the food Chef Kate proved she is a culinary expert. Every bite was done right and left you wishing for more. My wife stated pre meal delivery that she wasnt sure about what she had ordered since it had broth and she didnt like broth. After her first bite she told me she loved broth based on what she was eating! LoL! The meals were done with perfection and every bite was heavenly! Due to its somewhat hidden location its a bit hard to find. But after eating here its well worth the hunt to find this place! Chef Kate and her staff truly do everything flawlessly and serve up some of the best food youll ever eat! This is a must dine at restaurant in Steamboat if you love great food served with excellence! Pure excellence that is well worth the cost!

There is a lot I can say about our experience but I’m not even going to waste my time or energy. The 3 stars is for the food, every single bite was incredible. The service was so awful it almost overshadowed the delicious food. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for 12 years and I’ve never been so upset about the service.

You will spend about 50 a person. Just accept it the food is good. But I wish the regular steam came with the side the elk steam did. The steam tasted perfect but came with silly green things called vegetables. I want potatoes. Good thing there was 4 of us sharing.
This place is amazing! Fancy, homey decour; amazing, incredible, divine, delicious food, everything on the menu is incredible and portions are large. Attentive, professional, friendly wait staff, what more could you want?Definitely one of the best restaurants in steamboat.
