Every now and then when I feel for Thai food Erawan is the place.Been here several times and never been disappointed ever ! Food always fresh and tasty and the drinks are good !
Erawan is the Thai go to restaurant in the area. Been a staple forever and never fails to satisfy your Thai craving. Just a very good solid meal every time, No superstars here just very good players(dishes), and consistent.
Went there on July 17, 2021. Food is always great at this place. Drinks are top notch. When I went to pay the bill they added 20% to the beef dish I had. I asked about it and the owner told me that he forgot to show me a price list that they increased certain items on their menu because of Covid. He took off the extra charge but it really put a bad taste in my mouth about this place. The only complaints I have is the entrees seemed to be very small for the price and I really don’t think he forgot to show me the extra charge list. If he did maybe I would have never ordered that dish. In the end I won’t be going back. Good food but very pricey for the amount. There are so many other places to eat.
Best Thai food around Bayside hands down.Talk to Paul ( owner) when you are there.Great guy.
This place was packed! Clearly a great following! The Tom Yum would was very good however the main dishes seemed to be a little venture away from authentic and more toward Americanization... still very good. Worth going to? Yes... will you find more authentic Tai food at other places... in my opinion, yes... did I order the wrong thing... maybe! Again the place was packed so they are definitely doing something right!
This place is outstanding! The food is delicious, and the shrimp shumi was my personal favorite. I recommend coming here if you get the chance to, you wont regret it.
Absolutely fantastic!!! Havent been in almost a decade and just as AMAZING as the last time!!! Best mothers day dinner ❤️
Great food. Awesome drinks. Staff is so friendly and the food is top notch. Really glad to discover this gem and i cant wait to go back.
Thai fried rice was a bit bland so we ordered green curry afterwards (not photographed). The shrimp pad krapow was the first time Ive tried it and it was pleasantly good! Beef pad see ew was good as always. Service is something they can work on no matter what time of the day or day of the week I go. Good food kinda evens that part of the experience.
We went for lunch and after we payed and we put w.e tip we felt to give, some gave cash and others gave card tips, the waiter didnt wanna give us our card back since she was saying we didnt give her tips, mind you it was lunch and we were 6: $2 each. Very unprofessional to keep our cards
Excellent food but very pricey.
Good service. Excellent food
Amazing food every time!
4.29.21I am SAD to report that I have experienced (consistently) poor customer service at this restaurant! While the food is passable, the servicer is second rate at best. Recently, they completely screwed up a GrubHub order, which led to (their) cancelling my order, WITHOUT my permission, and when I spoke to them (twice) on the phone, they we disinterested at best, and bordering on ARROGANT at worst! Since there are other Thai food options in Bayside, and the surrounding areas, I strongly suggest you STAY AWAY FROM this restaurant! YOUVE BEEN WARNED - the rest is up to YOU.
Delicious Thai food! Came here for dinner a couple weeks ago and had the Panang curry, chicken satay and moo ping pork - all on point! Today we came for the lunch special and wowsers you get more salad and soup options than you can shake a chopstick at! We had the Thai iced coffee, chicken curry noodle, mixed satay and pork pad ka prow. Yum yum!!
The food was amazing as well as the drinks. Service was great.
Food was pretty solid
One of my favourite places since 2016 when I first went there on a date night with my partner. Awesome people, cozy atmosphere and great food.If you are a Thai food lover, this is definitely your place to go. The owners are always there during evening hours and they are so friendly. I have fall in love with this couple. Server, waiter, bartender every one of them are very polite and provides great service. Try their lychee Martini and Fried shrimp with Wasabi sauce. Also they have awesome whole fish menu with mixed fried rice.
I ordered massaman curry through ubereats and they gave me a quart of basically water with chicken. Was not a curry at all— for $20. They have nerve
Great food but very small table
Delicious food and great staff
Erawan Tai Restruant in Bayside on Bell Blvd is probably the best tai food in all of New York City! Consistency is key when it come to the restaurant business and Erawan takes the gold medal for the fresh quality of food and the consistent flavor or the rich Tai food taste! There signature Marinated Sirloin with vegetables are incredible The drinks are very tasty as well! Definitely a enjoyable night out at Erawan!
I was pretty excited to try this place out but was very disappointed. The food is not authentic at all, or at least doesn’t taste like it. The pad Thai is so basic and can be recreated easily. The taste of the food was not really good. The prices are so expensive for nothing. Definitely would not recommend this place at all.
Excellent food, good service. One of the best in the area
Still have the best salmon in Bayside. The Peking Duck in Roti was also very good. And even with Covid restrictions, they manage to keep the restaurant pretty, cozy and inviting.
The food is delicious. It has outdoor dining. Although it is worth it, I want to point out that the price level is higher than I expected.
Great people great food!
Very good flavor in the food! Outdoor seating was comfortable I hope they are ready for when it gets colder!
Love this place...had my birthday lunch today....hubby 1st and he enjoyed the Curry Puff..ordered more to take home
Excellent Thai food consistently.
The food is fantastic.Place feels like a swanky diner/bar out if the 70s. Clean and the staff are attentive. The people at the bar all seem to be regulars and the managers or owners hang out with them. Its a nice friendly atmosphere.Cant really find anything to complain about.
This spot offers amazing service as well as enjoyable meals. The best spot in town. The drinks and food arrived rapidly and the rates are affordable. I recommend this place.
Great food and service!
Great food and great service. Nice outdoor space too.
Been here a dozen times. Service is always spectacular. Ambience/atmosphere are on point. Great mood lighting. Food is great! Ive never had anything other than a great meal here no matter what Ive chosen from the extensive menu.
Drinks suboptimalFood goodHated community hot sauce, not sanitary
Everything we ate was amazing!!! Will definitely come back again! We had the Crunchy Salad, Vegetable Dumplings, Curry Puff Pastry and Thai Fried Rice with chicken.
Friendly staff, great food and beautiful place
The place is beautiful. Really decorated nicely. The food was okay. I wanted to have a dish that added in cashews and eggplant and was told they could not make it. I was very disappointed as I wanted to love the place.
It was just ok. Having lived in South East Asia for 5 years maybe my standards are a little high but Ive definitely had better stateside.
At the first moment you come to this place they give you a good feeling. Very friendly team, it is a good restaurant to pass time with buddies or with your date. Great meals, skillful chief cook and stuff, decent price and generous service. Warmly recommended.
My favorite soup on Planet Earth is Erawan’s Tom Yum Chicken Soup :) actually everything on the menu is top notch quality! If you want the best Thai food in NYC come to Erawan!
Always delicious, try the garlic rice. Its heaven in a side
Bland food. Over priced for the quality of food
Great service and delicious authentic Thai
Excellent food!
Exceptional and flavorful food, I liked the ambience the place has, and the workers were super friendly. Will definitely come back again.
Amazing food and amazing service! Eric at the bar is amazing! Highly suggest trying it out if you like Thai food!
Always good! Been coming here for ages and it’s alway consistent. It’s not the most amazing Thai you’ll ever have, but for the area, it’s a solid spot where you can dine in or take out. Delivery is avail too
Came here for lunch. Very nice portions and options. The food was well prepared and service very accommodating.
My favorite Thai place ever. Such sophistication and class. Subtly elevated classics, and specials prepared with honor and joy. Consistently delicious. Great place for a date. Ambiance is somehow both sacred and homey.
Very trendy. What you would expect for Bell Blvd. Menu is authentic Thai dishes, with your typical Americanized fusions. Always seems to be packed during dinner hours, almost completely dead during lunchtime though. Weekends are crazy busy, even ordering food for carryout will be a bit of a wait. The place isnt very big; has a full bar, tables are small too; definitely not somewhere that you would have Sunday dinner at. Great for socializing though. Food is also very tasty and good, price is comparable to what you would pay on Bell Blvd.
This place obviously knows how to serve their customers. Consistently with a welcoming demeanor. The food is affordably priced, regularly tasty and clean.
What a great restaurant! No matter what, you will struggle to park here on weekends and Friday night. I suggest parking in the nearby municipal lot and walking over.Seating can be a wait during prime hours. The food is excellent. Try the dumplings and rolls with plum sauce for appetizers.Pad Thai and typical Thai dishes are awesome. It can get crowded and noisy. Seats are close to each other.Portions are big.Bathroom is clean.Good service. For the 30 plus crowd it is a great place for families and dinner with a date. For the younger crowd, it is good for pre-game food before visiting the bars and lounges on the Bell Blvd strip.Dress casual.
Very delicious good. They have a great lunch menu that goes under the radar. You can get curry vegetable rice and salad all for under 10 dollars
Good food..
The food here is outstanding. I tried every dish that came to our table and each one was delicious. Service is very good. Creative cocktails. I would have been 5 stars but I dislike parking in Bayside and the decor could be better. But go for the food!
I and my friend ordered the seafood green curry and there were lots of sand inside of scallops so we told the waiter about it and he brought a new soup. However, it was really really salty, so we called the boss so that he could check how salty that food was . When he came to us, he didn’t even tried to check that food but yelled to us with anger “dont pay it then!We feel shame on it because it wasn’t about the money, but he treated us like some kind of obnoxious customer. It was inappropriate attitude as a boss. I really was disappointment at his attitude and our dinner tonight was ruined. It was very unpleasant memory
Great Seafood rice and Pad Thai lunch specials with good portions served in a traditional warm and quiet space with white l linen covered tables. What more could one want? Oh yes, a tall Thai beer! Go-to place in Bayside for delicious and carefully presented Thai specialities. The duck is a special treat!
Food was delicious and a very friendly staff. A little tight around the tablesvery little room, but manageable. Definitely going back.
This site is my preferable restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to that place. everytime I I need a special lunchon, this restaurant comes immediately to my mind. fresh and varied food and a rich cuisine.well mannered team, and nice ambience. Not less important, the expence is reasonable. I tell about this restaurant with no doubt.
Same quality from 13 years ago
Me & my husband favorite restaurant , we dine in here over 100 times 😊 simply amazing 😉
The service was great! The atmosphere was warm and comfortable. I was not pleased with my food. I ordered the Panang curry with tofu. The server did not explain that the tofu would come deep fried. It made the entire dish smell foul and taste like burnt fryer oil. I had to take out the tofu to make my dish edible. I ate the rest of the curry as fast as I could because I was hungry and in a large group and I wouldn’t have had time to reorder. Everyone else at my table seemed to like their food, the server was very kind, but I did not enjoy my dinner at all and it is a pretty priced place to not enjoy your meal
Great place for a date or family dinner. Still bummed they didnt give rice with my curry. Service was standard but we came in near, about an hour and a half before, closing time and felt they were rushing us to finish and leave. Delicious food and they got the classic pineapple fried rice.
This place had the best Thai I have tasted to date!!! The portions are Large size ,well enough to shareable, great vibe, reasonable, man thanks for the memories. I say if you never been try it because it will be worth it. I will definitely make out hear again.
This spot clearly knows how to please their customers. Regularly with a kind approach. The food is affordably priced, always flavorful and clean.
Nice ambience. The fried rice, pad Thai with shrimp are very tasty. Food tasted fresh. Last but not least, the banana spring rolls are a must.
Food was great except for steak, could have passed on that, drinks were so so as well, we were sat by the door and received virtually no service, we had to keep calling them over. Would not return for that reason. Price: expensive
The restaurant has free parking in rear parking lot. This was 1 star for me coz Bell Blvd area is notorious when you come down to finding parking. And Spicy Thai noodle was not too spicy, but tasty. And comfortable atmosphere is another star point. Overall very decent quality Thai food.
Nice place with cute to standard decore. Decent food, had better and had much worse. A few dishes were over cooked and meat was tough and dry. Some other dishes were properly prepared.
Food was terrible....condiments were watered down, tea was terrible. The 1st Thai restaurant of many Ive went to that was terrible.
Cozy, family run with great Thai food. Good service and friendly waitstaff. My family and I go there often.
Seriously delicious Thai food. The best and most consistent Ive tasted in NY. The servers are attentive and friendly. Theres parking in the back too!
Good service, good food, extensive menu, cozy themed atmosphere.
Great Thai restaurant, personally think they change the dishes style too much to fit American taste. I like traditional Thai better. But is still a good restaurant
This Thai restaurant is consistently outstanding! The crunchy jicama salad, pad pak ruam, pad thai, and vegetable dumplings are just a few of my favorites... Lots of good options for those following a vegan or vegetarian diet as well.
This is the best Thai food in all of queens, and possibly all five boroughs. Thai select certified by the Thai govt I think its valid till 2021. Zagat rated bar with staff thats competent. Great low light atmosphere. Intimate. Ive been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years and all I can say is Im always happy with the results. These guys also do the best lunch special going in the neighborhood for $10 get fried rice choice of entree and Soup or salad. One of the only place I visit on bell Blvd. Only thing I can say negative is I wish that they had mock duck (seitan ) as an protein option. I cant even dock a star for that cause everything is so delicious 😋. One of the few places that will actually make the food really spicy (I have dulled taste from sinus issues) and I mean you have to ask twice but they will.
Awesome restaurant best Thai food in new york
We really enjoy Erawan, our favorite Thai food. However, in my opinion, its a bit pricey. A couple times we have felt like we were being rushed out.
Service was wonderful and the food great. Will definitely visit again
Tasty dishes and great service and ambiance
Ordered pad see-eiw, it was overcooked; the noodle was terribly soggy, broken to the nail size and salty. Nothing I CAN chew. told owner but she was complaining about Chinese market about materials instead of apologizing.. ??? I don’t recommend to go there.
Good food. Consistent. Nice lunch menu
Great food and friendly service! A bit pricey but you get what you pay for.
