You are better off going to an atm machine. On top of terrible conversion rates they charge 3% for their services whereas in an atm machine you do not get charged 3% and the conversion rate is better. You save twice. You end up losing a lot of money here. Even if your home bank charges you for each withdrawal, you are better off withdrawing multiples times at an atm machine (maximum on an atm is 10 or 15 thousand rupees at once, and 25 thousand per day).
