Elephant Pushkar is the best hotel in Pushkar. Its one of the oldest hotels in town and they have a lot of history. I love their gardens, rooms, and food. To top it off, they are also near many temples which is great for me since I am in Rajasthan on a pilgrimage.

Our stay at the property was amazing !The staff was extremely polite and helpful. Absolutely amazing place to stay. The staff is pretty sweet and helping, the vibes are beautiful. Rooms are comfortable and the lawn has a sitting area surrounded by trees with birds chirping and the squirrels running around which is absolutely soothing and a treat to your soul. Highly recommend :)

Hi, I am a regular visitor of this place for its great ambiance and clean environment. Prices are so affordable, staff is great and the food is a must try . I have been visiting this places for 4 years and feel like home. Dorms are clean and people are friendly. I ll visit again for sure.

It was 2 years back when i came to elephant for the first time. Since then i have been coming to this place with my friends and family. This place is full of sukoon and good vibes.Its difficult to find such open spaces in the old crowded city , the pushkar ghat is just few meters away , this is the best part.Homely atmosphere , such sweet and polite staff , everything about here is just 10/10.

It was an amazing place to stay with equally humble, amazing and supportive host. Their place is at the centre of Pushkar and everything is at a walking distance from their place. Perfect for a workation with large garden space and a fun place (pool table, TT table and many more). Did I mention it was economical as well :). Do try it out 🤠

Our stay was absolutely perfect! Everyone looking after us was heartful and very very helpful.. We went with our 2.5 year old son, and the place was very toddler friendly with a large lawn for running around.. the location was perfect, 1 minute walk from the market, 2 minute walk from a beautiful ghat (with a gentleman playing drums there in the evening), 8-10 minutes walk from Brahma Ji temple.. But even in the middle of such bustling area, it retained a tranquility and peace that was much appreciated.. the aarti bells waft into the hotel in the evenings, the birds and occasional monkeys play on the terrace..Our room and bathroom were very neat and clean and airy.. cleaned daily..Exceptional service staff that would go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, not just because you are a guest but because they are just such nice people!!Loved it, and cant wait to go back!!

The host (Babu Bhaiya & Karan Bhaiya) are amazing and make you feel like home. This had been my home on several days and I hope to come back soon.

The place is great, I was there before the covid 19 had shut the airlines, I stayed there for two weeks, the management was great, the have the best food I have ever ate in India, they taked care of everything and made our stay the best.

Great stay in pushkar. Best location as everything like Pushkar lake, market and brahma Temple is near to this place. It has very good parking space. Best place for backpackers and budget travellers too. You may not find this place in night as street and hotel is completely dark and its outside boundary is old. Dorms are very affordable too. I stayed in super deluxe room which generally costs 3000 rs per night per room but got it for 1700 rs as demand is less due to covid and i contacted them directly via whatsapp. They have deluxe room also but it is not that good at rs 1500 compared to 1700 super deluxe room. You get shampoo and body wash and body lotion also. Water dispenser with hot, normal and cold water is there in common room. Table tennis and snooker/pool table is available to chill in common room. There is no wifi and no landline to call room service so you will need to go yourself for any help. You can smell smoke in common room as people do it there so please check if going with family. You will need 2 IDs to stay and will need to register your details.

Its the best property in pushkar. It is near the pushkar lake and all the facilities are available with affordable and clean rooms. Host sachin and bipin makes you feel at home. Safest for girls and great for couples. Enjoyed a lot and I dont have to think where I have to stay in pushkar as I have a great stay every time.

Chill out place for travellers. Had great time there. Food was also good. They have hostel as well as private room.. u can say that it is located in the main market near pushkar lake. Bus stand is also on 5 mins walkable distance.

No proper washroom unhygienic and bunker beds are very noiesy.

Comfortable and friendly stay in center of local market

This was comfortable dormitory based hostel. The outside grassy area was nice to chill and read in the evening. The thali offered by the hostel cafe is good too.Note elephant and hosteller share the same grassy courtyard, and same cafe.

Manish is what made this place excellent. He was probably the most accommodating manager Ive met while backpacking through India. One example is that the day we checked out we wanted to take a nap during the afternoon and he let us (me and my girlfriend) use his personal room. Manish is amazing and will help make your time in Pushkar awesome.

I had a lovely time in pushkar and I had equal fun in elephant pushkar hostel too. A must visit place for everyone in their life...you get some amazing food, street foods and different varieties.I have had the best chai in pushkarJust go with open arm this place will accept you.I can write a book on my 2 days trip...Go live yourself...

Very nice place! Even more amazing food... very cheap rates... only issue is only cash is accepted. The staff is too nice and polite. Hotel is close by to all tourist spots and in the middle of the market. Id definitely recommend it to everyone

The guys here are really friendly, Babu and his team are super nice, will be honest with you and do their best to make you feel at home in this oasis of calm in the centre of town. The rooms are spacious and kept reasonably clean. The pizzas are excellent also.

This hostel is very big and very near to Pushkar lake. We got a 4 bed dorm with private washroom here so it is kind of private room for us. Hostel have all basic amenities and lot of open area. This hostel costed 200 per bed. The roof in the Dorm is damaged which is annoying.

Excellent place to stay at puskar, specially their night dance and singing programs. All three and four guys in hotel reception have nice behavior and good guidance.

Nice garden, great location. Not up to the other Moustache Hostels standard yet. They turned an old hotel into a hostel, so they need a little extra time to be on the same quality line: kitchen was always closed, room and bathroom were dirty and no one came to clean even after I asked, paid on the first day and they were asking for money when I was leaving. Wouldnt stay here again. Too many better and cheaper options in Pushkar.

This place just opened, but you can tell its gonna be great. Theres a huge grass courtyard in the center with a volleyball net plus a big covered social area with a ping pong table and a big screen TV. The rooms are nice with just 4 bed dorms and the staff are extremely friendly. I very much enjoyed the stay. Also, theyre letting the guests paint the white walls outside with pictures of whatever they like, so if thats your thing, giver.

Great location, right near the main market and lake, while still being quiet. Sachin the owner was very attentive and accommodating.Further the hostel is new so everything was brand new. The private room was huge and the bed comfy. Also great social vibe. Definitely the best hostel ive stayed in india

We were very happy to stay at Moustache Pushkar. The place is quiet and the garden very peaceful even if the hotel is situated in the heart of the market. We also enjoyed a concert of traditional music in the garden for Christmas. Vipin was very helpful with us for everything (food, cleaning, booking bus, etc). A very good adress well advise to our friends.

Good budget stay. Good thing is they have Big grass ground and indoor sports activities provided. Need improvement in Just need to little bit more secure their upper bed because no railing on upper bed to protect person from fall down while in sleep and the room locker need to be little more secure with key and lock.the locker of the room is open,it must be little more protective. Apart from this everything is good and fine. Good atmosphere and very enjoyable stay.

Moustache Pushkar is now Elephant Pushkar but everything else is same, I think maybe even better than the last time I visited them 6 months back.They now have a cute Tree House room and the garden is done much better.But the best part is the staff is the same which has always been the highlight of this place.Wish you guys good luck.

Rooms are average here .Price is also not too high . Best place to visit in spring season .Pushkar lake is also not too far from the location and market is also too close .Just remember to ask all the requirements before confirming.

When we arrived pushkar, we were desperate to find wifi connection to arrange our next travels as we were heading vipassana meditation centre for 10 days.And when we found moustache ,the gentilman who was running the place,(sorry i forgot his name) was so kind to help us, he even did my ticket purchase as my card didnt work. I paid him in cash.It was end of the season so we havent stayed but the place has a lovely set up, if i go there again i definetely book a place and discover the area.

We had a lovely stay at Pushkar Elephant Hostel. The facilities are excellent and the place is lovely with the best chilling spots. The hostel is very clean, the location is perfect in the middle of Pushkar, it is well connected with public transport to Ajmer Train station and most of all the staff are very sweet! It is a lovely hostel right in the main area of Pushkar.It used to be Moustache before but now its called Elephant Hostel Pushkar.The rooms were spacious with all facilities.The best part about them was their staff, always very caring.Also they have a cute puppy named Highway.

Owner vipin is very helpful and courteous. .what we liked most about his place is the big spacious lawn In between of rooms both sides. ..A nice verandah type lounge where in night guests could see the film on projector. ..but best is the location very central in pushkar just opposite of jhulelal ghat and main market road. .It has amazing eating places like honey and spice next doors. .and moustache pushkar is always buzzing with foreign tourists which has dormitories and separate rooms alike

Sachin the manager guided us with best places to do and eat in Pushkar. Joined them for a tour to Savitri temple and it was definitely worth it.And they seem to become even better since they changed their name from Moustache to Elephant Hostel Pushkar

I think this property was a dharamshala which has been converted into a hostel. They have a huge courtyard or a football field in the centre with rooms all around it. The rooms are big and comfy. They also have Table Tennis table. It is located bang in the centre. It is walking distance from the main street or should I say you walk out of it and you are on the main pushkar street.

Great place off the main market way near pushkar lake. It is a little be behind, with rooms overlooking a big open middle yard. Rooms are spacious and clean. We had an AC room for two nights that we booked on Agoda. Great staff too. Working WiFi.

Nice hostel with a friendly staff. The location is nice but the street in which the hostel is can be very crowded during festivals. The open area is really good to chill and relax. Gym should be renovated and I feel the hostel can create a better ambience! :)

The hotel is meant for budget travels - hence its called a hostel. Neat and clean rooms with white linen and towels, spacious and clean bathrooms and most importantly situated bang on main Pushkar lane. The hostel has a large lawn where the guests can bask in the sun on charpoys. Would definitely stay again on my next visit to Pushkar.

Hostel puppy is so cute and playful.Its a huge hostel with greenery all around.We stayed in the Tree house inside the hostel, our first such experience and I must say it was one of the best.Totally recommend this hostel which was earlier called Moustache but they renamed it to Elephant Hostel.
