Not clean, muddy, lot of hawkers and vendors stay in random way. Not a hygeneic place specially in rainy season or after a splash of rain. Dustbins should be arranged by administration to minimise the problem. Purulia bus stand should be upgraded to the standard of a district sadar bus stand.

Purulia Bus Stand is situated in the heart of Purulia. Its near of the major and important places like hight court, Purulia Head Post Office, Deben Mahato Sadar Hospital, Purulia Fire Station, Belguma Police Line. You can find buses for all the routes. Barabazar, Manbazar, Ranchi, Tata, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Hazaribag, Ramgarh, Patna, Durgapur, Bardhaman, Bankura, Medinipur, Kolkata. All types of buses are available like general, Air conditioned, Deluxe and Day Night. Buses are lifeline for those places where trains or Railway station are not available, like Barabazar Route, Man bazar Route.ButThere is a big problem is structure and condition of the Bus stand is very poor. Specially on Rainy Season, even after a simple and small rain. There are everywhere mud and dirt, rain water stay like pond. Government should have look into this.

Hygienic foods are not available in this pandemic situation. Restrooms are very dirty and hard to find one if not a local passengers. Buses are filled with passengers without maintaining any distance. Just disgusting. It should be taken care of.

It is situated at purulia, near Deben Mahato hospital, 3km away from purulia railway station. You get bus for kolkata, jhalda, ranchi, tata, bankura, durgapur, bardhaman etc. You get both government and private buses from here.

Communication system is not well.... Timings of bus is also imperfect...

It is the transport centre of the district located at the heart of the Purulia. Frequent buses for different parts of the district and different parts of Jharkhand are available. But one thing that I do not like is the maintenance. The authority take it very casually. If a very slight rainfall occur then the place will filled with mud and water...no proper drainage systems are there.

Very important Bus stand where you can find Buses to connect not only the other district of West Bengal but also directly connected with the Important Townships and cities of Jharkhand State.(i.e Jamshedpur, Bokaro, Ranchi, Dhanbad etc)But on the other hand the place has some serious issues like vendors, cleaning, sanitation, bus shed, proper guidance to the traveler and proper discipline for entry and departure of the buses.

Purulia Bus stand is located on the side of the road. It can be easily seen from the road even in the heavy traffic. Huge bus traffic. You can catch buses for near by districts and for other states too. Super fast busess , express busses and local busses runs. There are many vendors inside the stand selling eatables. Also there are hotels . But this place is crowded and unclean.

This is one of the most crowded and main junction of purulia bus connecting root and a main bus stand. But the problem is drainage system very bad and unclean drain and its cause the stand dirty.
