Total 4 platform.more crowd on platform 1.For sleeper class waiting hall is present on platform 1, but unfortunately illegally it has taken by railway staff, no passenger allowed in waiting hall on platform no 1,another second class waiting hall is present on platform no 4, small waiting hall with 4 fans, no washroom is there, actually washroom also locked by insiders tea stall, these washrooms would only usen up by tea stallers, no hotels, no eateries, no shopping malls available near railway station,,...

Purna junction is in middle of two stations Nanded and Parbhani . Station is provided with basic facilities like restroom, toilet, etc. Also, some extra services are available here because, this station is main junction connecting to 2 main stations above.Station is not provided with accelerator like Nanded station. There are 4 platforms on this station . Mostly trains are came on platform 1 & 2. Trains going to andra Pradesh, telangana or southern india came on 3/4 platform (Not always).

Escalator facility should be provided at Purna Jn station please.Railway can also develop some major railway project here due to more land available.

One of the Major railway junctions of South Central Railways.Nice spacious, built in facilities, clean place.Hot and fresh Indian breakfast and snacks like Idli wada, samosa etc are available all the days and all the time.Almost all the trains stop here for not less than 10 minutes up to half an hour depending on conditions.My favourite railway station.But the town Purna is small and backward class.Many platforms are available but only one ticket counter makes it very difficult to reach other side.Multiple platforms.

Very nice place and quite and full with nature but the development and progress of this station is ignored by the authorities so it makes some services disturbing . But from last decade its getting revolutionary changes so I think it might be better in future but although it will take more time

I wish I could rate this zero stars. I lived in Purna for a year and often visited railway junction on weekend to go to nanded. The first week I arrived. I brought my parcel from manmad, my household goods and labourers didnt lift my luggage to parcel office from platform no 1 because I refused to pay them 1200rs for 4 parcel weighing total 90kgs then. I complained in station complaint book and then I was asked by my house owner to take back my complaint. I did because i had to stay in his house and his half family works in railway there. After that while leaving on 11th yesterday I was forced to go to nanded since they said they wont lift my things from there but few days back they did parcel for someone working in railway there. To make matters worse in name of helping they asked me to call from nanded where I was charged extra rs 200 and also they said they will help to ask bhusaval Ka parcel supervisor to send my things earlier. Instead called him and then I had to pay for chai Pani there too. Very tricky. Because in manmad they never charged a paise. Most people in Purna have relatives working in railway and most people are like sharks will try to snatch any bit of your hard earned income and make you pay more only. Dont visit this place. Dont visit this junction.

No RPF, No TC, No Complain Department........Much more drinker & smoker peoples on platform ........Some people’s stay here......Very dirty and dangerous place at night.....Pay & use toilet charges are very high for urine charges take 3/- & for toilet charges 10/-And No Security......

One of the busiest RAILWAY STATION over SCR.. but having only 4 platforms...Indian Railways have to pay proper attention on this issue..Before MG to BG GAUGE CONVERSION there were 6 platforms...Indian Railways should give more facilities to passengers at PAU

It is a medium sized railway junction that connects the northern railway with North Western railway and south central railway.Even the train from Sriganganagar to Nanded stops at this junction. It has four platforms connected with a overhead staircase.Platform 4 has a wide shed with ample space and chairs. It has the counter for enquiries and ticket counters to purchase the current reservation or general tickets or platform tickets. It has an automated ticket vending machine for printing the online tickets booked through UTS app.It has a small cafeteria too that serves food items and hot tea even at two in the morning.

Its moderate.

Junction station, routes to Mumbai, Nanded, akola

Its a junction on the mumbai to marathwada route. You can get lot of delicious south indian food here. Idali and wada sambar mendu wada etc etc South food is available here at reasonable rate.The main problem of this side trains are there is a single route here (single track). So you always have to wait for a train.Due to this one track, all trains are usually late. Even though train is express it is late here.Other thing is cleaning at station. A little bit improvement is required here.No idea about night safety here as well as Goods safety of passengers in night.
