I miss this place. When I was staying here, my body had not good condition like terrible stomach problem which is normal in India travelling. But I can not forget easily those atmosphere which surrounded in that place. From time to time I can feel it those peaceful ambience. I miss it.

まず、受付の日本人の女の子の態度が悪いのが一言目でわかりました。無表情で高圧的で、イライラしているのかと思うほど早口。これがナマリなのかと思った。最初はそれを鵜呑みにしていたのだが、あまりにも早口で、有刺鉄線のような口調で、面白くない表情で説明してきた。おまけに接客の基本的なクッションの言葉も知らないようだった。これはオーナーの教育が悪かったのか、それとも彼女がイライラしていただけなのか。あまりにも説明が早すぎて理解できず、我慢できなかったので、少し強めの口調で「え？今何て言ったの？」と口を挟むと、彼女のスピードはようやく普通のスピードに戻ったが、もちろん「すみません」などとは言わなかった。この時点で、私はこの場所を選んでしまったことを後悔しました。悔しさを抑えて部屋に行こうとしたのですが、階段が見つからず、うろうろしてしまいました。受付の彼女に目をやると、私のことを見ていないかのように目をそらしていました。オーナーに女の子の態度を説明しようかとも思いましたが、その日は本当に疲れていたので、自分で階段を見つけて部屋に入りました。今まで日本人宿にはたくさん行ってきましたが、受付の人に挨拶されなかったのは初めてでした。でも良かったのは、朝食がまあまあなこと。また、何名かいたインド人のスタッフも笑顔で対応してくれました。今思い出しても、受付の対応だけで滞在が台無しになってしまったことを後悔しています。信じられないし、二度と行きません。
