Nice hotel. We visited 2-6 jan, 2021. The room water is salty and room service food is not up to the mark. Other wise the hotel restaurant - song of bengal food is tasty and good. We had taken the 4 bed ac luxury sea facing room. Initially we faced a problem regarding the sliding door of balcony but it was solved by the hotel within 2 days of our stay . Room service and management is also 👌. They were ready to help at our every beck and call and requests. Room size, interior and facilities also 👌.

The rooms are good but the washrooms in the non-ac bedrooms need a renovation.

I booked four bed ac sea facing. I had been to this hotel earlier long back also due to which I made this booking. The room was sea facing. We could view the sea from room itself. The cons are four bed room is relaltively smaller. The cleanliness has detiriorated. The hot drinking water was not at all clean. The old restaurant has been changed to a new restaurant. Food is good. But the room was not at all as expected. The price is 3000 per night plus tax but not worthy. The maintenance staffs has to be ringed for the services and is prompt.

This hotel is just opposite of the pavement of sea beach. Truly a fantastic sea view is observed from hotel room (sea facing). Without going to the beach, one can easily enjoy the beauty of the sea from balcony for long times. In fact, after getting awake in morning, I used to have a look at sea removing the curtain of our room, I remember I felt like I was seeing a sleeping baby.At the entry of the hotel, there is a decorated reception. The rooms and attached toilet are well maintained. The double-bed room is enough large in size. The room includes two beds, some chairs, one cupboard, a television set, a dressing table and a telehone set. The hotel staff changed the bedsheets at the time of check in. They cleaned both the room and toilet as well. Service of their staff is quite good. They also provide room service. They have their own restaurant in ground floor, named Rupasi Bangla. Complimentary breakfast is included with their room price. But it takes lengthy time, almost about 9 oclock in the morning.They arrange worship in the temple of Lord Jagannath. They can also arrange car for sight scene.Parking is available for free of cost. Wheelchair accessible. Lift service is provided. Room Price may differ, it may be little high, but not overpriced.One more thing, an ice cream parlour is located just beside of this hotel. You can enjoy their various flavour as your dessert. Overall, if you look for a sea facing hotel with a decent budget, you can think about it.

We visited in October 2019 after Durga Puja.Rooms were over priced and too small and short of space. We took 4 rooms. Deluxe ac rooms were below par.Quality of water served as mineral water was of local quality. Other plain water tasted salty. Most of our family members fell ill and spent huge amount on doctors and medicines as we suffered from diarrhoea and infection.Food was served in rooms uncovered, although we paid service charges and insects were found in them. My daughter in law contracted typhoid there. Laundry services were poor. The laundry person almost lost one of my wears and I got it only after informing the reception that I would make police complaint, as Im a Judge and my son Lawyer of High Court. For house keeping and room service we had to go on requesting the boys, although we paid tips handsomely. Cooked food quality was poor and in spite of repeated requests for cooking food for my child in a particular way, there was problem. No value for money. Utterly disgusting experience. Reception staff co operated.

Locationwise very good. Rooms are good. In rooms we found rats (We have pictures of it.). Only 1st day they provide toiletries (1 shampoo sachet and 1 tiny soap). sometimes they are very rude. When we reach hotel I am looking boiled rice n dal n potato for my baby daughter. They straightly told me that is not possible before 12pm.its really pathetic feeling on that time.

Only sea facing rooms are good. But back side rooms are just too bad. Not atall worthy. Food is really good. But for staying you will get much decent property in this rate

Hotel Pulin Puri is a very good budget hotel in Swargadwar area of Puri. I have stayed there three times with family and friends and found it worthy as per budget as well as comfort is in concern. Once, I stayed at 3rd floor and that time we spent much time at its rooftop at evening hours. The hotel has a very good restaurant serving quality foods. Many outsiders also take their lunches and dinners in the restaurant.

Excellent place. Puri hotel have their own bus services for theirs clients to be picked up and dropped to the railway station which is very convenient. Food is amazing. Rooms are very comfortable and nice. Excellent sea view.

This is just the hotel that one should be staying at Puri. Be it the location, hospitality, services, behavior of the hotel staffs, cleanliness, food in the restaurant, flexibility to accommodate every single request of the guests..all are commendable and definitely makes you feel at home. I have no single complaint rather more appreciation to shower based on my recent experience of having my aged parents staying here for 5 nights in the Maharaja Luxury room. I would always consider it as a privilege to stay in this hotel at Puri that can absolutely beat the biggies in the area for all their good. Will come back soon to stay here more.

Puri hotel was inaugurated to provide good quality service at affordable prices by a Bengali couple in 1947. After 70 year Puri how have more hotels and more dirt and more crowd all around. However the beach which is just opposite to it has very few stalls and thus provides a nice view. Though the staffs are friendly and well mannered, I believe that the rooms require proper renovation and modern amenities.P. S they have a very well decorated restaurant.

One of the best places to stay in Puri if you want the sea-bath. Rooms are clean and food is good. You cross the road in front of the hotel, and you get the sea beach. In the evening you can eat and shop nearby. It is a happening place where you can do a lot and spend time.

The only thing that makes good sense is this hotel being on a pick spot, just 2 minutes walking from swargodwar. Other than that I booked one of the premium room, less costly then premium rooms of other hotels, but the wallpaper were torn apart, the room is very small, the welcome accessories like towels are not given, never asked, tea sugar milk not given. They do have a good restaurant, Rupashi Bangla. The food is good although you have to manipulate your hunger on the timings. Like you have to order snacks before 7:30 then its dinner and these times are not explained in menu chart. Then lastly I would say the service I mean the room service is very good, I was very much impressed and thought of giving some tips to the boy who helped us with lot of things. Although at the end we faced that they were expecting a hefty tips, which is more that 500. Overall experience good. I dont know if Im gonna go there again in future.

Sea facing rooms are location wise attractive. Service is All right. 24 hrs check out is another plus point. But no online booking facility. Contact the hotel by phone is also a rare event. Msg comes no does not exist or switched off. But more or less value for money.

Well the general manager is a great guy.They run salty water through their sink which actually sucks while brushing teeth or just after a meal. This is the reason why i gave 4 stars.

Extremely bad experience. The rooms are not well maintained. Cleaning is not done properly. During the time of booking they were showing the images of a room but when I reached there I was stunned to know that the room alloted to me is not the same. Above all, the behaviour of the staffs were very rude. The geyser facility was also not available for all rooms. During the time of winter it causes a great difficulty.

Visited on 11 January 2020 , worst hotel we have ever visited .1) Booking was for ground floor seafacing room confirmed online ,at the counter it was changed to top floor discarded room.2) Lift not functional , leaving sr.citizen at distress .3) Behaviour of hotel staff is rude , as if we are staying free.4) Food quality stale , we were served rotton prawn .5) Every day customers are complaining on infrastructure , food and everything , which staff seldom bother to comply.6) No warm water facility .I dont suggest any one stay.at this Hotel ,worst than Line Hotels.Its a (-) star hotel.

In older times this used to be the best but now due to stiff competition its facing difficulties. Rooms have become bit old, restaurant is ok but room service needs to be better. They also have free bus service. Now they are just running on brand value. Addition of modern amenities will make it good again👍

Plus ~ location on swargadwar.Its an average hotel if we discount the location .. everything else is pretty gross ( food , rooms , service ) .. you waste your money only for location ~ also location means in on sea shore amidst chaos and cacophony all day round.It has been a choice of hotel for many bengali lower middle class govt clark (Kerani) type bengali bhadroloks who needs to chew antacids after every meal.Stay in a modern hotel if you have money based on availability.. Its up to you to decide if you want to stay in a dharmashala like this after paying room rent or stay in a modern , relaxing , clean accommodation with amenities may be little far from chaos.

The room was not at all clean. The bed sheets were very dirty. When we complained to the house keeping regarding changing of the bed sheets they were nt done. They were also reluctant to clean the room when we demanded the same. We werent served breakfast the first day of our stay since we reached thr hotel late due to delay in railways (although my room was booked & all payment were made ) & they have a policy of not serving breakfast after 10.30. Neither did they give us rice & potato boiled for my 3 yrs old kid when i demanded the same. They told that they serve lunch only after 12. Bad experience.

A very old hotel, great location. Cant say about the quality as I have not stayed there myself. But from what I have heard from my relatives, the rooms are not up to the mark. Doesnt match the rent they charge. But again it is a very old hotel and is very reputable. Dont expect to get rooms on festive seasons.

Everything is excellent in this hotel but the tallest building need to be repaired and there is no online booking facility in these days. This is a big disappointment for us. If the owner of this hotel is reading this then I request them please start online booking facility.

Room and bathroom were a bit small, but were OK.Tea cups and kettle were a bit dirty.Staffs are very helpful, decent.Toiletries were very basic like towels, small soap, small shampoo pouch.Restaurant is in the ground floor, they offer good Bengali food like dal, posto, Mach r jhal etc.Most important part, u can enjoy the roar of sea at night from the room.They have options to enjoy the sea from their roof also.Price of the rooms are little bit high. They have their own website for room booking.

Worst hotel I ever have had. Booked online nearly 4 months ago. For 3 days for 2 rooms they charged 15900 plus tax 2041 but after arrival they gave receipts of Rs. 17331. That means a hidden cost of Rs. 610. Rooms were horrible, seepage of water from toilet of upper floor to our toilet. AC was not working properly. Room service not up to the mark. Shabby restaurant. Very cold attitude of hotel authority.

The sea-view is probably the best thing about this place. The hotel does not have air conditioned rooms, but the sea breeze more than makes up for it. All in all, the rooms are quite comfy. There is also a restaurant downstairs that serves great biryani.
