Very good hotel. In front of the beach, Almost all the rooms have a view of the sea. Staffs are very cordial. Cleanliness and hygiene is maintained. The in-house restaurant serves good food. All in all very good experience.

Booked a stay in this hotel for family online.Pros:1. Location is excellent- its right on main beach road, yet away from the main hustle bustle of the market place.2. The beach is on the other side of the road, which is very less crowdy. So you can enjoy good time on the beach with family, and come directly inside hotel after bathing in sea.3. Car parking facility is there, though its outside the gate and not a gated parking.4. Staffs are good & friendly. We travelled with baby, so had milk tetra packet with us. The staffs were good & kept the milk packet in their kitchen fridge for whole day & gave back at night.5. Check in & check out was fast & hassle free.Cons:1. Service is very slow. If you ask for something, they will take 1-2 hours to get it to you, that too after 2-3 follow ups.2. Rooms are small & clumsy. We booked room with sea view, but sea was hardly visible.3. Initially we were given room in 1st floor, which was too small & bathroom was stinking. After complaining, they shifted us to 2nd floor with better bathroom.4. No lifts. So if you have problem in climbing stairs, ask for rooms in ground or 1st floor.

We booked the hotel room for 2 days, initially we were alloted Room then immediately we had to shift to room (Reason is described below)CONS----------1. None of the staff was wearing mask and the reason they will give is that they are fully vaccinated (P.S. fully vaccinated person can also get infected and even can act as a carrier for Corona virus). 2. Have to change the room because of stinking smell of urine in bathroom which even room service guy agreed. 3. All rooms are not sea view, you might get a glimpse of sea if you bend a little on your balcony railing, so be careful before finalizing the room, they have very few sea view room. 4. Room service is SLOW (In bold), their abhi aata hu is at least 15 mins so you can imagine the rest. One small example they took almost 3 hours to give water after check-in. 5. No WiFi in room, so if you are planning to wind up your office work sitting in your room while on vacation then either you have to rely on your mobile internet (which was also very low), or sit at reception as you and the receptionist gazing and smiling at each other in small gaps. 6. Room was pathetically small .. hardly 10 by 10, so after a double bed and double chair with small table you are left with very small space even to walk , better keep your shoes outside otherwise it will be sand all around.7. There is car parking, and its literally FREE, as it is open and outside the premises, they might ask you to park on opposite side road saying police kuch nahi karegi. PROS---------Altough a few but its my duty to post clear picture : 1. Bathroom was big and have all basic amenities (dont expect good brand toiletries though at this price).2. Location is just opposite to sea, only reason of giving 2 star. You can enjoy sea with your family without thinking of walking a lot. Also beach has fewer crowds as its towards the end of the road.a3. If you insist you might get a room with good view of the sea (very few options). Very slow room service, even didnt got hot milk for the baby at around 10pm. And no internet in room which is quite a basic requirement these days.

It was a great experience while staying at hotel Jeevan sandhya which is located just opposite to the sea beach facing the sea.Its hardly 100 meters from the sea and far from the rush area and the swargdwar market.Best place to click photographs as there is no such crowd.If you want to go to the market you have to hire an auto which is just 200meter away from the hotel which charge 100 rupees from hotel to market and 150 from hotel to jagannath temple which is located around 2.5 to 3km away from the hotel. Hotel rooms are hygienic and clean. Room service is good. Sea view from balcony is nice.All the essential amenities are there inside the room. In-house restaurant is there at hotel. Hotel is also tie up with goibibo and make my trip. Well behaved staff.The whole operation and management is being well maintained by Mr Manas (Manager).Thanks to you for your guidance and support.

Spent 2 nights with my family at Hotel Jeevan Sandhya, Puri and had a very good experience. It has an excellent location, situated away from the hussle of the main market. It is located on the southern side of the beach and is ideal for people who enjoy peace and tranquillity. Furthermore, it is located right across the road from the beach. The hotel has a warm ambience, with its hospitable staff and tidy rooms.

Excellent value for money. Nice scheduled place. Beach is across the road. If you want to little away from the hassle of the city...it is a great place to be. 15 minutes travel from Jagannath temple and on the golden beach of Puri.

Quite a lot of improvement than my previous stay.Much more professional and proactive in their approach.Still a long way to go but Jeevan Sandhya is on right track.Food has also imoroved both in quality and taste.However Breakfast options need a serious intervention especially in quality.Overall I would rate it 3.5 out 5.I recommend Jeevan Sandhya as a pleasant place to stay if you wanna be away from the city rush and enjoy the serenity of the sea and the beach.

The location of hotel is approx 5 kms from railway station and 2 kms from Golden beach. It is situated in the last of the beach so it feels like u r on a private beach. Staffs are good and cooperative. AC Rooms are well maintained and all basics things are available in room. The best thing i like about hotel is food. They serve awesome food at affordable price (lower than any hotel in puri). Only thing i didnt like is network coverage is very low inside hotel and Wifi is also available to only some rooms. Good to stay if you are looking for affordable rooms and less crowded area and beach.Thank you

Location of the hotel is excellent with a less crowded sea beach. You can easyli spends whole evening with your love one by roaming the beach playing with wave. Roome is also well maintain.But I have to suggestion 1st dont drop your thing there I just drop my headphones after check out I recall it so I went up the room but its vanished within a few minutes. And 2nd dont go for its own hotel traveler (ms travels) it will misguided you for traveling location as well as money so try to arrange your own travel or best options is go for ola.

Well, the rooms are absolutely clean. There was little bit communication gap as most of the staffs understand local languages better than hindi Or english. But we found amazing cooperation from Mr. Manas. Also Mr. Prakash helped us a lot by arranging suitable packages. Wifi could have been better though! However, thanks to the staffs and manager who made our stays better. ❤

There was a warm reception at front desk. Complimentary breakfast have varitise of foods. House keeping service is also good. Cost of food is high. Location is far from main Swargaduar area about 3 km. Sufficient auto service is not there. Overall calm & quite area.

It is located at the end of Marine Drive road.Hotel is very good, rooms are in excellent position, almost every room are sea facing(balcony view). Deluxe ac rooms are well decorated. All the staffs behave politely and in a very good manner.Good quality of food is also available at the restaurant on the first floor. Breakfast ,2litre bisleri, tea bag, cofee, milk, sugar is free per day.(as per booking norms). Hello Folks,The location of hotel is amazing n @peace.Even though the area is under construction, its worth a stay!kindly confirm the amenities status prior visiting n get them up n running.Rest connectivity to major spots and natural feel will bound u completely.

The hotel location though far from the market area and having conveyance problem unless you have your own car, is still beautiful as it is on the sea shore and quiet & peaceful. Maintenance & cleaning of the rooms were timely and good. Only problem is with the Breakfast that they were supposed to give complimentary. Most of the times, items were short of supply & one had to be satisfied with the remaining food items.

A very poor service provided by hotel at the time of dinner. my family members are very disappointed........we are ordered food for all the members in one go but we need 3 roties more in the end of dinner ....they told us it will take minimum  one hour....just tell me who will wait for one hour .....its not first time yesterday they did the same.....  yesterday morning we told to the manager about the problem in lock of bathroom but it didnt repair till night.....they dont believe in good n prompt service to its client..

First of all we did not get the quality room at all.The room was not proper maintained. We feel that there is paint smell is coming from each room. The bed was not at all comfortable and bedding was also not proper.We booked brekfast included with our packages but the quality was not up to mark and also they have only 3 or 4 Items for brekfast which is very limited .The staff was not good at hospitality services and managing their services.They promise to provide the sea facing room but they dont have sea facing room.Last but not the least their whole hotel is in rennovation and lot of work is pending which make our stay uncomforable.There are so many other good hotel near by places .Please book and choose accordingly .

Nice service and attitude of the staff, very welcoming and caring. good food and that to at budget. Good management. Clean and cosy rooms. however the hotel is far from everything in puri, which could be an advantage or disadvantage, depending on your reasons of visit. I got the rooms at bargain via trivago -> goibibo, but the prices are higher ( puri sea facing hotels come for a premium ), when we compare the distance of this hotel from the Center. auto charges are - 80 for swarg dwar, 150 for temple, 250 for railway station. rooms are quite small although nice decor. sea facing is the balcony so from inside the room you cannot see the sea. wifi did not work! last butt the most important factor why I have removed 1 star was that both airtel and jio, network was scantily showing 1 bar. calls were getting dropped, no 4g/3g/gprs, hence virtually out of network. Manager, staff and property in itself are top class.

While check-Inn, Room 207 was alloted to me... In room there is no WiFi connection/signal... I requested to change the room... They changed my room to room no 307.. Again the same problem... Instead of that I told them to give me Room 307 just for a better view.. Than Room 207..But after some time may be 2-3 hrs back.. I switched on the TV... But TV was not working... No Services of channels..Now again.. At the check-out time.. I was asking for the complimentary breakfast, but at the restaurant no body was present... Neither food, neither the service guy... Or anyone..The major concern:No WiFiNo TV servicesNo BreakfastRooms are good, quiet location, all basic necessities are provided in room, AC, coffee maker etc.. Bathroom was also good..

Location is good, a little far from market, but auto is always available, and it takes only 5mins to reach swargadwar market. The food is pretty good. The only problem is room service. They are extremely unprofessional, they were always late in serving food/ beverages. One day they didnt even serve bottles of water after lunch even when we repeatedly called them on room service. They need to organize their room service and manage properly, otherwise even with their great location, food quality and spacious rooms, they are a huge failure.

The Hotel is at the farthest point from Swargadwar and nearest to the estuary of Dhaudia River. If someone wants to enjoy the beauty of nature with thrilling sound of Bay of Bengal and enjoy the view of jhau forest without noise of crowd then this place is perfect. The cost from this place to Swargadwar is 100 rs (reserved auto 3 person at Max) and takes 15 minutes. So each trip to Swargadwar would cost Rs: 200. The room service, restaurant and food quality are excellent in this restaurant. Lovely experience having spent the leisure time.

Dont ever visit this Hotel Jeevan Sandhya Puri. Please see my detailed review below.This is a horrific experience, which I want to share with future prospective visitors to this Hotel, a 3rd category Hotel - I request all visitors not to visit this Hotel due to the following reasons : -1. We paid an advance of Rs. 2500/- by online transfer for our stay at the Hotel from 1st June, 2018. We had informed Mr. Sadashiv Nayak, the Manager on number of times in advance via whatsapp messages that we would be reaching the Hotel at 4.00 a.m. on 1st June. But, when we reached the Hotel, nobody was in the reception including the Manager. However, after much hue and cry, we were given rooms in the 2nd floor backend side by a staff - the rooms were totally dirty - empty water bottle and cigarette buts were all strewn around including used bedsheets and stink toilets. The rooms are not sea facing and congested and general wing flow is very less, which will be uncomfortable for all. I am with my aged mother and children find it much difficult to stay there, and we immediately decided to shift to another good sea facing Hotel at Swargodwar.2. The Hotel is very very far away from Swargodwar, the main sea beach area and even from Railway Station ( Rs. 200/- by auto) - the place is desolate and lonely.3. If you have to reach main sea beach area for sea bathing purpose, it will cost minimum Rs. 100/- by auto from this Hotel. To go to Mandir, it will cost Rs. 180/-,.4. As I said that our advance payment did not work. The said Manager even refused to return my money, threatening us to pay them full stay amount. Now, I have to approach Govt. of Odisha for refund issue. Please see, how they are harassing us by denying me my legitimate money.5. The behaviour of the said manager with the tourists is very bad to say the least. Staff are not not good and attentive to tourists call.6. Hence, Please do not visit to this Hotel, which is my earnest request to all tourists.7. Please share my experience with other tourists as well.8. I request all tourists ,who would be visiting Puri, not to stay at this MOST 3RD CLASS CATEGORY HOTEL.

Our stay at hotel Jeevan Sandhya was amazing. Hotel is situated far from Puri main beach market. Location was great, exactly in front of beach, no crowd or noice at all. Food was finger licking awesome. Staffs were cooperative and friendly. Hotel has small garden and own parking inside.Now I come to the cons... if you dont have your own car, it wouldnt be a good option as it is really far from main beach and it becomes dark and empty after sunset. Also hotel doesnt allow unmarried couple which is bit ridiculous nowadays.

The hotel is situated at very calm Balia panda beach. Beach is in front of hotel. though it is at about 2 kilometer from Swargdwar beach but if one likes calmness, it is the place. hotel rooms are also clean and adequately spacious.

Locattion wise this was the last hotel along the beach on Marine Road in Puri and that was the reason for us to choose this hotel for our two nights stay in Puri. We just wanted to spend most of our time playing on the beach, away from the crowd. Location of this hotel served this purpose well. We took all our meal, breakfasts, lunches, dinners and even our tea with snacks in the evening in the room because there was no other option awailble nearby to get food outside. I heard that there is a dining hall in this hotel itself but we didnt went there and preferred to order our food from the room. Taste of almost all the food we had was good. We also didnt have any plan to move around in the city, therefore not having an easy access to local conveyance in the vicinity of hotel was not an issue for us. We just came here by Auto-Rickshaw from station and then after two days we left in an Auto-Rickshaw that was arranged by hotel itself. One big minus that irritated us there was at the time of check-in. We reached there even quite late in the afternoon but our room was not ready and we had to wait for 40 minutes at the reception.

Worst stay ever . For a bottle of water , cup of tea had to call several times and still got no response. Rooms were very small in size and corners were dirty. I would never recommend anyone to book this room.Their service which was zero. None of the staff knows the ethicates of hotel business. Running a hotel with 50 plus rooms . Complimentary breakfast was not upto the mark as if they are feeding us from their own pocket. Lunch served was fully spicy and full of oil. It is a hell as compared to the heavens like sonar bangla and east west.

The food is expensive. compared to service, tariff is too much. the sea facing room is just a slice of the sea from balcony. rather you get to see building chunks from your window or balcony. the complimentary breakfast is a sham. u get a very small portion of serving not enough for an adult. rest is chargeable. the room is clean, staff polite, housekeeping prompt but you have to make sure everything is done. tv was non functional till noon. had to ask the reception for the operation. bedsheets were stained but within minutes of complaining ..those were changed. overall its not value for money. we get cheaper hotels at Much good deals elsewhere in puri. my family was not very happy. its far away from the nerve center and every time i have to shell out a chunk as auto fare. food is tasty but over expensive. its in a secluded place and without a single shop. nice for couples but in an overnight emergency only option is to hire a cab from hotel. autos are available till 10am and then again at 5am. temple is far away so if you are planning to visit there solely, try other properties.

Rooms are so so for its price. Location is good but too far, at the end of the new marine drive. Poorest room service one can imagine. 2.5 hr for a cup of tea after breakfast that too after repeated periodic reminder.

We booked this hotel, got totally unsatisfying experience... the hotel had no Wi-Fi, no tv, no responsibility towards the boarders... they never served breakfast at time, they never provide complementary water bottle at time, we had to ask for their amenities so many times, lastly, we had to go and complain, then we got it... the hotel dont have enough stuff, the food quality was worse... location wise, the hotel is the last hotel of puri towards the mohana... so, the transportation costs was too high... but, the view from the room was awesome...

If you are a true nature lover and come to PURI to enjoy the real essence of SEA and NATURE then this hotel is the best of all. The hotel is far from those IDIOTIC POLLUTING regions of sea beach near Swargadwar. The beach is extremely neat and suitable for bathing. You can enjoy the sea beach along with its cool breeze lying on the bed itself. The services e.g.INTERCOMM., WIFI, ROOM SERVICES, FOODING are awesome.If someone is giving less than 5 stars then assume that the person is completely NON SENSE having no knowledge of NATURE and ITS TRUE BEAUTY.

Good location. Far from the madding crowd! We almost felt like we have our own private beach. WRT the hotel- Helpful and very polite staffs BUT the operations are ill managed. Dirty and dull looking bed covers- they never changed it in 4 days of our stay. Torn and worn out pillows! First meal (and was our last from that hotel) was about an hour late than commited. Food was tasty though. No towel was provided. After I asked, they gave a very shabby looking one. There were a hole in the headrest of the bes, where from electrical wires were popping out ! We wanted to book the hotel Auto to go to Swargadwar and the driver quoted at least 25% more than the normal rate. Later that day we found that there are many autos available until as late as 10:30pm. So transport,was not a problem at all. The front desk staffs as well asvthe rest of the gang were very polite and helpful but none seemed to be well trained. All of them were pretty young and hardly have any experience. The two stars are for the young, polite and helpful staffs. Nothing for the management. This hotel has a good potential and I wish them a brighter future.

Every room doesnt have hot water in the toilet. Food room service is not fast. Otherwise its ok.. value for money. However it is far from swargdwar. Auto charges 100 rs for one way to swargdwar.

Beautiful, couple friendly, neat and clean hotel. The location is great for its calm & quiet atmosphere. If you like loneliness then this is for you. Restaurant is O.k. The hustle & bustle of market place is far from here.
