Excellent and ideal location facing the vast ocean. Very supportive staff extending warm welcome. Hygienic and testy food. Homely feeling in an open natural atmosphere.

The experience this time was bad. The hotel maintenance has gone to a toss Rooms are specious but housekéeping was not done properly. Food was good but that was all about the experience.

The hotel is nice one to spend a nice time with your family and friends. Nice location. Perfect behavior and all. But one major problem was happened with me that in my room I found lots of cockroaches which was disgusting. But rest all is superb. Food quality is fine but should include a few more in the buffet list.

Sagar Tarang means Wave of sea is worthy as bay of Bengal sea is visible from its balcony, it is near to sea shore. Nice but busy hotel. Surrounded by hotels like hotel Purusotam, youth hostel and so on. The tourist buses for visiting different places of Puri, konark, Bhubaneswar,Chilika lake, Nandan kanan zoo and botanical garden and others start from here at early morning . situatated in a Nice and approachable place.

Rudest people in the world.. will force u to check out the hotel at 9.00 am.. dont even allow 30 min stretch.. employes will keep knocking the door from 7 am.. knowing the fact that all guests were awake whole night for the wedding..

More of a service apartment than a hotel in actual sense. Staff are mix of courteous to plain rude. Well maintained swimming pool and garden although the pool requires more cleaning. Rooms are OK for the price. The free Breakfast doesnt have very good spread, but OK. Food is expensive. Dishearteningly we lost one brand new T-shirt while kept for drying at the balcony, which might have fallen down from the balcony due to wind. When complained, the management showed little interest for recovering the same. Obviously the same had been taken by someone from the hotel housekeeping staff working down below at the garden. The attitude of the receptionist in this left a bad taste for us. Overall 2.5/5 stars. Will look for other better options next time if available

The worst people without minimum Courtsey are employed here. No neatness in rooms. If you expect about changing bed sheets then you have to pay a good amount tips for that. Washroom taps are not working. The switch boards are open. Its really surprise how the online booking sites support this type of hotel for business. Its totally a waste. Deserve no stars

Some rooms were filled with water as soon as entered into. The room services are decent and the food was good as far as human standards are concerned. If anyone wants to go for a visit please make sure the AC is in working condition and there are enough beds for everyone. Thanks you

Not well maintained at all!! Rooms facilities differ from one to the other. The staff is very courteous and well mannered. The Restaurant is really BAD. The Waiting Staff is good but the cooks have NO idea about too many dishes. The accompaniment with the breakfast was a disaster.

Poorly maintained property. However, the staff behaviour is very good and the food is exceptional (excluding the free breakfast, which is horrible). Cleanliness is also not a priority as the spoons theyd give us were often visibly unwashed.

The rooms are decent and so is the room service. Average food quality. Great place if youre visiting in a group, coz they have serviced apartments.

Its a good hotel to stay in Puri located next to Chanakya BNRhotel. The staff is helpful , rooms are clean, food is good. Its not on the beach but its about a 10 minute walk to the beach. They have a restaurant named Fewzone which serves both veg including Jain food and non veg food.

Very Nice Resort to stay with family and friends.Spacious 1BHK flat turned into rooms, nice place for family & friends get together with amenities of Gym, swimming pool & playground for outdoor games. & good food.

Very good hotel for short weekend stays swimming pool is great but it has some issues regarding cleanliness the food in the restaurant is very tasteful but price is on the heavier side. For the price point and location recommended for short stays in puri.

Very Good Service

Male receptionists were very good & helpful. Cleaners were extremely poor. Full of flies from the basement which was very dirty. Bathroom drain was semi blocked. Pool needs chlorine.

First of all dont expect for a star staff reception actually they only give most of their attention only to the high profile guests & second if u are looking for a beach side hotel dont book it it is like 1-2 miles out from coast & third furniture is very bad maintained and some rooms are also dirty fourth in the mornings during peak seasons of tourism dont expect a quiet morning as your out of the main centre.this place is really crowded and noisy(from 6 A.M. to 10A.M.)because all the tour buses are parked right alongside the hotel(in fact the 3rd image I posted was taken from a bus parked alongside of the hotel)so overall my opinion if u are going as a group or family then dont go there .

Not up to the mark..as per rate some of the rooms are not properly maintained at all ....if you come with 6 guests the hotel people would force you to put your people in a 2 bed room studio which one is worth among them...try the pool side room..they are really good.

Not good.Rooms are not good and not maintained properly.Only food in the restaurant is nice.Very difficult to reach room no 205 allotted to us.Reception are not able to/check the booking and payment made when we went for check in as per our reservation.

It should be 3rd class Hotel instead of 3 star. No proper room service and poor quality of room also. This property converted into hotel from flats so no feel of hotel. Bad place after all to stay.

Poor reception. Unprofessional attitude. Highly priced for very mediocre facilities. No clear policy of room categories or their cost. We booked online and regretted it strongly at reception itself. All gadgets in the room were ancient .....and dangerous as in go off in the face any time . The refrigerator went off with a boom right in my hand and i was only thankful the kids were not nearby.

I have visited Puri in last week of December /16 & stayed at Sagar Tarang for 3 nights. The food in its restaurant is not good. Room is not well maintained. Hope, the hotel authority will rectify these problems.
