SO IM WRITING THIS REVIEW TO AWARE SOME PEOPLE I CAN SO FIRST OF ALL THEIR RATE IS TOO HIGH FOR WHAT THEY PROVIDE, SO HONESTLY THIER STAFFS R NICE BUT THE MANGER IS NOT COPOERATIVE THEY DONT GIVE ANY DISCOUNT ON THE RATE CLAERLY IS THAT THE PRICE THEY WANT FOR THEIR ROOM THEY MONEY YOU ARE GIVING IS NOT WORTH . SO FROM MY EXPERIENCE MY ROOM WAS ON THE TOP FLOOR PERSONALLY I DIDNT LIKED THE HOTEL ,

Wonderful Hotel, Very Courteous Staffs, Location is great....Loved it very much.... Overall Excellent Experience.....

I used to love staying at this hotel, and I have stayed here for like 4-5 times. Also I had given a 5-star rating on the basis of my previous experience. BUT this time I want to change my opinion. The service has become very poor now. The restaurant is closed, and were told to go to Suv Palaces restaurant (same group of hotel). Room service is available but the service is very bad. Yesterday, we ordered dinner and wanted it at 9:30pm, but we received the food at 10:26pm (almost an hour late!!). The other day were told that water will be unavailable from 2pm to 6:30pm due to some maintenance. Thats okay but even at 10pm we did not get water. After telling them several times, almost after 30-45mins we got water. Today morning we were given tea half an hour late. This poor service was not expected from this place. I used to love this place but now Idk what to do. There are few other complains as well like the intercom is not working, bugs, and so on, but Ive already written a long paragraph, so Im not elaborating much. Anyway, atleast the staffs are good and polite. The quality of food is good. I would love to change this review if I get better service.

Service is very bad

Raj hotel at puri is one of the hotel of raj group of hotrls.it is situated at marine drive road. One can see the ocean from the varanda. Rooms are airy and spacious. Toilet is good. Bed sheets pillow covers are changed on alternative day. Room service is good. From the back side there is a road by which you can reach to mandir in short time. Hotel has its own restaurant from where one can eat foods the only problem it takes a long time to prepare the foodOtherwise quality of food is goodIt can be served at your room if you wish soOne PSB and also some companies are running holiday home service. One can stay there at a moderate price. Moreover ten percent discount is available on the foods and beverage. The hotel has lift facility. Overall observation shows that one can stay this hotel safely along with his family.

Very bad experience

Outlook of that hotel is very attractive.

All that glitters is not gold. -----this proverb is partly true for Hotel Raj at Puri. This hotel has a beautiful building with sufficient open space. It is situated near the sea and sea can be seen from some parts of the hotel. This hotel has lift facility and security guards are posted at the gate 24 hours restricting outsiders to enter without permission. There is a restaurant which serves delicious foods at legitimate prices. These are the glittering sides of this hotel. When you enter the room you may find the room and the toilet lacks cleanliness, pillows are well below standard and most surprisingly there is no proper ventilation at the toilet (such experience might differ in other rooms). Your actual suffering will start at night when large number of mosquitoes will attck you compelling you to spend sleepless night (as we did). On the next morning, l am sure, you will lodge complain at the Reception. Nothing will be done till evening. Being afraid of another sleepless night you have to go to room boy (room service not good at all) and request him to spray insecticide. #This review is not intended to defame Raj Hotel, but to bring the attention of the management regarding some neglected sides of the hotel.

The hotel is a bit away from the congested sworgodwaar area thats why it is calm around there. the beach is much more clean around there.the hotel is well maintained. rooms are neat and clean. but the problem is that at night there is mosquito problem.the restaurant is behind the hotel and the quality of food is very good and at a very reasonable price.enjoyed my stay very much.

Good rooms good position but pricing is a bit more than the facilities provided.. And the attached restaurant is horrible. They take 2hrs to provide the order. We ordered lunch at 1.30 got it around 3.30... From the next day we ordered 2 hrs earlier to receive it on time...

Hotel location 200m from sea beach but not sea facing. Ac rooms are good. Non ac room quality very poor. In non ac room no ventiletion system, poor bathroom, small rat run hear and there, mosquitoes every where.

This was my worst experience of all my 5 times in Puri...! The service is just pathetic but we managed to get a room at last cause had a connection...! Lastly the food is just the worst food I have ever had. Its Puri for Gods sake at least the seafood should have been good. Its better if you have your meal somewhere else and also stay in any one except for this one. Im a 18yr. old student travelling for the first time without my parents and this has been a horrific experience not only for me but even for my friends....!😤😤

Ground floor is very bad management.. Have relaxing time we are very irritated in afternoon time. Reception management is very poor..

Good hotel with good facilities and services. Staffs are really cooperative and sincere. Hotel also provides every possible support if needed. Car rental is available. Restaurant is good with good quality food. All rooms have attached toilet and balcony. Distant sea view also available from balcony. Common balcony has good views though. Not too far from swargadwar and temple, transportation is available all the time.

I would request not to book a standard non ac room which i did as it is on the ground floor and the housekeeping desk is located just outside these rooms so eveytime till.midnight their phone keeps on ringing and its very difficult to sleep...however if i book this hotel again ill definitely go for the upstairs room but overall the hotel is nice

As a hotel this hotel is with wide area but Seaview is not available from room no209 . Sea is very close from hotel. Food is not as per standard but OK to carry on . Service from restaurant service is horrible as I ordered tea at 16.00 hrs which finally came at 17.30 . This can be a ok for those who are looking for low budget hotel to spend. Above all not as per my standard .
