You will not be disappointed with the service thats for sure. Except that, everything else is worse. Room is of 1990s , price is that of a sea facing hotel where as it is 500-800 meter away from it. It is worth 500-700 rs room. Restaurant items are exorbitant in puri standard and quality is ok kinda. Dont be carried away with rati gs I think ratings are superficial

Though I wanted to review the hotel immediately after my visit in January 2021 to share the poor experience we had staying here but somehow I missed it! Of course I felt cheated by M********** online booking platform by showcasing a similar rating of above 4 and with lots of positive reviews. May be the last minute discounted price shown might have prompted me to book it. I must say that I lost the whole trust on the said online platform whose loyal customer I have been for years!Having said that, I really wonder how could such a mediocre hotel can have 4.2 rating on Google? I believe that at least google rating are crowd sourced and without any bias!The location of the hotel is on a congested lane wherein we couldnt get space to park my car and had to park on the road itself as the hotel doesnt have any parking. I really wonder if anyone can drive in in the daytime when much traffic will be there on the narrow lane!Coming back to the worst experience we had, we reached to check-in at around 11:00 pm with my spouse & son. The check-in desk was so stubborn that for want of a local ID proof of my wife, had delayed the whole process for about 45 minutes! I accept that it may be required as per the rule but their contention to delay the check-in for such a reason despite our assurance to provide it after searching out from email was not at all appreciated.The room was on 3rd floor and the congested lift lead us to the room. The bedding was found used & torn blanket and we asked for changing and they have provided few new bed sheets but they didnt replaced the torn blanket. The floor was dusty & bathroom is also very old kind wherein many taps were not functioning smoothly.Though the room showed windows & balcony, the hotel rep told dont open the balcony as monkeys may come inside!Already tired for the whole day, we didnt have any other option that to bear with the poor experience and also face mush ire from my son & wife for selecting such a dilapidated hotel which turned out to be a nightmare for us!The next morning they were very arrogant to inform us that the check-out time is at 9 and thus leave on time as well!My only advise to the fellow customers is that please stay away from this hotel if you dont want to disappoint yourselves and other co-travelers!

Very pathetic condition. Might be because of no business due to pandemic.No cleaning, No sanitization, No bedsheet change.Even DG set is not supporting AC when power goes. After long hours of hectic day were bot able to sleep whole night due to mosquitoes and no AC.Need some better resource management.

Best part about the hotel is the din in , the food and the decorations over the place are uncomfortable and last but not the least you are surrounded by most polite people of the place. Hotel felt as home to us and we assume to stay here only on our every visit.

Budgeted stay near Sea Beach with great food and ethnic styled rooms. And yes, if you are visiting Hotel Ashraya, dont forget the little garden on the terrace! Where you can literally have a chill pill with your friends and family.. Friendly staff! Had a great stay here.

Worst hotel Ive visited ever. Manner less staffs. Food service worse, recipes can be compared with road stalls. Electric backup is not well controlled. Worst hotel for family. Interior decoration is so bad. Systems are not good. To far from sea beach, no available shops are found near. Bad locality. Id recommend not to stay in this hotel in anyway, if you belong to a class.

Feel safe. Walkable distance to beach, around 1.5 km to puri Jaganath temple. It was simple BUDGET friendly hotel.

Beware of hotel persons. They didnt even know what they are doing. Mention how many days youre staying firmly. They make errors and you have to call customer care for a long time to resolve issue. Hotel rooms are great. Cheap and clean. Food is also reasonable in price

Room is good and decorative. They having small kids play area in the hotel Terrass. The food quality of their restaurant also good. Specially the staff member behavior is very co-operative and they always trying to maintain a good relation with their guest.Also you will get a homely atmosphere inside of the hotel.However, It is little far from sea.

The stay at Hotel Ashray was quite pleasant and the management staffs there were very cordial and hospitable. The complimentary breakfast had a lot of options to choose from. The room service was also good.

Well the food, facilities and everything of the hotel is good except it sometimes fail to meet the expectations of the customers. It provides best food from other hotels also other hotels doesnt provide food while staying so u need to go and eat around the nearby restaurants and mine case is same. The only problem I faced is that they messed up the order of our dinner onetime and forgot to add the side dishes of our dinner at that time they were a little rude but later they compensated for it. Besides you also need to give order 4 to 5 hrs before you there and they cannot take order by phone for the ones who are not staying but only coming to eat. Otherwise its one of the best place to stay with ur children.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights, not a very good experience at all, first of all rooms given at 3rd floor, after travelling here and there you have to climb upstairs that is very pathetic, also rooms and bed-sheets were not clean at all. Foods are very expensive but quality not given as per the price. you have to enter in the hotel before 10 PM at night, you have to order breakfast before 11 AM and lunch before 2 PM and Dinner before 9 PM otherwise you will not get foods. also its 7-10 mins away by walk from the sea beach. Staff behavior was not bad. Reception is well decorated.

The hotel staffs are well mannered. The food is also good. There are some hidden taxes so u must discuss with the manager. The rooms are not bad. Theres ac and geyser. U can go to the roof also, to dry ur clothes or to just chill. Overall, this place is comfortable. It is 7 minutes of walk from the beach and 15 mins of walk from the Temple.

We love all the service here

The hotel is a complete contrast. It is modest from the outside but its insides are way more aesthetic. I was glad to see an array of aquariums and a pair of swans. The terrace is another add-on with a view of Shri Mandir. The staffs are very courteous and attentive. The restaurant is actually quite good and the price is pretty inexpensive as compared to other restaurants. Its just a meagre ten minute walk to the beach and a five minute walk to the market. Accessibility to the mandir is quite easy, autos are available near the hotel.
