Visited first time and felt good quality/ taste of food. Reasonable tariff.Professional staff and timely offering of food at counters ( self service)Only request to mgmt to focus on hygiene & social distancing hence we havent zeroed down Corona so far.
For south Indian food lovers, Sambar is an amazing option. The place is quite nice and spacious. The food was also delicious and fresh. Also, the price is very reasonable. We ordered the Full South Indian Meal and one cut Dosa (served with Chutney and Sambar). Both were flavourful and delectable. My Ratings (out of ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)✓Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐✓Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐✓VFM: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Clean place and good food. It fills you up. I just wished the cleaning crew was a little alert when tables empty up OR they crate a counter where people can leave their dirty dishes.
Sambar Restaurant near Phoenix I visited because of my friend, its his favourite restaurant. I also liked it so much. Seating arrangement is awesome with very good cleanliness. As per the need of the moment social distancing and mask is maintained by the staff and also same is requested for customers. Rate is also affordable with super quality and quantity of food, it may be either in South Indian and Chinese dishes.
The way of preparation dosa is very disgusting.. cook was spreading chutney on dosa by hand and dont even wearing the gloves...will never visit again 🤮👎👎👎👎
All the South Indian Dishes are excellent to taste. Its taste awesome.Loved all the dishes its yummy to taste. The Sambhar and the chutney have a different taste altogetherMasala Dosa, Cut Dosa and other menu options are available. The menu for the hotel keeps changing everyday. The hotel also serves nice Chinese food options as well.
Very Nice Service as per Covid Guidlines..
Wow place! Enjoyed cheese masala dosa and its delicious sambhar. Tea is also a plus!

This place is very good south Indian Restuarant !!! Best part is they have maintained the food taste consistently from last 5 years ... Filter coffee is best and also dosas and other authentic Karnataka dishes ...
Good taste. Sambar and chuteny are good. Bisebele bhat is a must try. I liked it personally. Filter coffee is awesome. Must try if you like south indian food. No parking available but so keep that in mind.
Had an above normal experience in the restaurant. The place is usually crowded. They serve all the South Indian dishes like Idli, Dosa, Uthappa, Udid Wada....the taste of sambar didnt excite me much. Overall taste was good but the size of their Idlis and Wadas is extravagant.
Delicious dosas 😋Very soft idlis ❤Very fast service 😎The only problem is that it is self service. The quality of the dosa batter is really good.Highly recommend going there 🤩

Taste is good and packing also good. But dont like when they prepare dosa Or uttapa in front of you. They use our zadu or kharata to clean tava .... It looks very shabby. We dont know inside of kitchen but when it look infront of you its no to me.
Once of best south indian stop in Pune. Must try veg Biryani
Fast service, clean and tidy. Good place south indian food.
Waited for 45 mins to get my parcel and what I get is a half cooked uttapam and watery sambaar. Disappointed
Great food, good for breakfast, do park your bike/car on the side as vehicle removal van is quite active here

I specially like Swami combo thali which is really good in quantity and you will get almost all kind of dishes portion in a single thali in jst Rs. 120/- only...!!!The another thing I specially enjoyed is the bowls of Sambar and Chutney which is unlimited. You can have many more Sambar and Chutneys till you get fulfilled!Abmbience, quality and quantity of food, pricewise this outlet is really good. I highly recommend this hotel to those who are craving for South Indian food...!!!

Idli vada rasam and Cut dosa nicely made. Its got a South indian touch to it
It nyc place for breakfast they served very good and they are very strict for rules... and food was awesome but too much costly its like example for food costly 100 rs plain dosa
Yummy place for South Indian lovers....fresh and delicious food straight from stove to stomach...
Worst experience.. Worst Taste .high prise . They see customers patience only
Just amazing. The quantity they offer is pretty much for the price. The taste is also good. The owner /manager was so friendly and soft spoken. I loved the upma here. You can try swami thali and dal makhani paratha. Its worth a try

My favourite place for South indian,I think its best in entire pune. You will get every South indian food there.
Good south indian restaurant in Pune. Taste of food is good. Price reasonable as per its location.
Sambar..... is one of the most visited restaurants by me I have lots of memories here . Food quality is damn good and restaurant is serving highly hygienic food with good taste. This place is so good, that Ive been there five times in under a month and the reason behind this is cheese masala dosa and paper masala dosa which is having a great taste. This restaurant having a variety of south Indian menus. Must visit 😋😋😚😊
Quality, Taste and Unhygienic Place for eat various dishes of South India.
Good place for having authentic South Indian food. 5 stars for food, but 4 stars as hygiene could have been better. It has self service with dine in as well as standing arrangements for a quick bite. They have their tea and coffee stall outside the restaurant which serves typical south Indian coffee. Restaurant offers south Indian food, Chinese food and Juices. One thing I noticed that food like idli vada is not served hot in the evening. Noodles are also good. Paneer uttappa has heavily flooded paneer with huge amount of butter. Lastly, it has its own South Indian thali which costs Rs. 110 having variety of vegs, rice, sweet, chapati/puri, dahi and papad. Loved the Payasam. It also has chinese combo having chinese foods, and swami combo which has idli, vada, dosa, shira, upma etc.
Its good place for South Indian food try idly over here
Dosa has thickness of Uttapa :/No taste as such. Scope to improve. Good heigin though.
This hotel serves one of the best South Indian delicacies in Pune. This is situated in Vimannagar and can always be seen thronged by the locals. This restaurant enjoys quite a loyalty and popularity among its customers.I have been to this restaurant a couple of times and this place didnt disappoint me once.I would suggest you guys to try their Ghee Roast Masala Dosa, Rava Masala Dosa and Chow Chow Bhat( which is basically a Shira-Upma mix ).They have a lot of food options and I will definitely try my best to explore the remaining options. On a price scale, it is economically priced. This place has a self service model and has a huge seating area which can accommodate more than 100 people at one time. This place also has an ample two-wheeler parking space.I would definitely recommend you guys to visit this place and enjoy some authy South Indian food.
Nice one sooth indian good optiond
One of the best places to get South Indian delicacies. Highly recommended
Gives what you expect. Might recommend
Nice place for South Indian food. Big space, nice crowd.
Oh this is a way God speaks to us,The perfect coconuty chutney, the hot soft crunch in the medu wadas, the softest of idlies, amazing varies of combo dishes and The Swami Special, just doesnt do enough justice to the place.
The place can be described very objectively asSelf Service - Udupi Cuisine - Simple Seating - Budget Friendly option.Lots of things to opt from. 2 can fill within Rs. 200-250. Taste is average to good.Recommended for a quick fix meal, not a romantic date.
Sambar as always good for tea and idli sambar
Nice place for a good morning chit chat with breakfast
The amount of oil they put on food , is absolute disaster. South Indian food is a healthy breakfast option..and they made it exactly in the opposite manner.
One of my favorite place to eat dosa .
Great for idli and dosa lovers
One of the low profile no fuss restaurant, arguably serving the best South Indian snacks in Pune! Its pretty famous among the people in Viman Nagar, but hasnt surprisingly got the iconic tag yet.Try whatever you like, be it Dosa, Idli, Medu Wada, Uttapa and you wont be disappointed with their preparation. They also serve a variety of Chinese dishes which is well worth a try.Theres a proper seating area for the family as well as stand-and-eat kind of tables at the entrance. The service is pretty quick and is a value for money affair in spite of being so close to Phoenix mall.
The taste of tea is very good.
