Wagheshwar Temple in Pune is a revered temple where many people come to seek the blessings of God. Wagheshewar means Lord of Tigers. The colossal temple is located in a picturesque location. There is even a beautiful just opposite to the lake. The temple is known to be as old as from the time of Mahabharata. Carved out of black stone, there are images of several Gods and Goddesses chiseled in the rock. Inside the temple, you will find an ancient idol of Lord Shiva. The entrance to the temple is quite narrow. The temple rests in front of a large astounding lake. If interested, you can even do the boating in the lake. There are beautiful white swans swimming in the lake to which people feed food. The temple is simply breathtaking.
