Good station

This is a very small station. It has no sheds on the platform. There are no water taps or toilets. Usually cargo trains stop here and there are only two passengers trains that ply through here. One goes to kolhapur and other to satara. So if you ever fancy boarding a passenger to any of these locations from a station where you might be the only passenger boarding, you might want to go to this station(pun intended).

The sasvad road station is now shifting near kalepadal railway crossing.. doubling and electrification is going on simultaneousally. Local trains may start in future after commissioning.

Its just a station with no proper entrance from phursungi..... You need to walk from road consisting of 3 inch dust and cement.....
