Sears holdings India is subsidiary of sears holdings corporation (USA), mostly called as Sears. Basically its a retailer company in US, CANADA and exist since about 130 years. The environment here in SEARS HOLDINGS INDA is very employee friendly. I works here.

Never go for interview.they are taking much time to give feedback for every round. I wasted 2 days of time to complete all rounds of interview. However I done with 5rounds ,they told me that you got selected and you will receive offer letter by next day eod,but I didnt receive any ol and they said you are rejected. I ever faced this type situation in my life .

Sears Holdings Inc is one of the best organization to work. Team lunch, Friday fun , Celebrating each and every festival in meaningful way.Employees are friendly and ready to help each other. the best thing i like is 360` calculation for Performance appraisals.Over all thanks to Admin also for engaging employees with a lot of fun activities.

One of the worst companies to work with. Hr department is enjoying salary for doing nothing. Managers hired are from typical call center back ground who just dont give a damn and think themselves as bosses and the actual boss of the company does not know what the company is doing.Worst experience worst management worst company everything Worst. Any intelligent person would never join such a company.

Sears India is place perfectly suitable product company for an IT Professional.It happens to have great work environment, plenty of opportunities and no bureaucracy.Have been working here for past 6 months and so far experience has been great. It has provided me a lot in terms of Opportunities, Personal Growth and learning curve has always been steep till date.Cons- They need to focus a bit more on providing good Infra for Canteen and other services.- Their Size is growing at an alarming rate, which sometimes can create a bit of space crunch in office in terms of conference/meeting rooms availability, etc.- Fresher training can be made little bit more exhaustive with providing them enough tutorials so that their ramp up rate is not slow when mapped with a project.Pros ( A Long List indeed)- Flexible Shifts and very friendly work environment- Ample opportunities available for individuals growth. Stretch Projects are a great way for an employee to get learn or contribute that something over and above normal day-to-day work.- Great Appraisal Method ( Complete 360 degree evaluation taking feedbacks not only from L1 Manager, but also and not limited to L2 Manager, Direct Reports, Peers, Etc. Also, Stretch Projects has significant contribution to overall appraisal apart from BAU Activities)- Flexible Team Structures and AGILE methodology at its heart.- Friday Mania, Most Valuable Player & Company Sponsored Team Lunches are a great way to exercise Team Building Activities.- HR Policies are great and among best that i know of. They are very employee friendly and Sears Core Belief of Members First is implemented at its heart giving Employees convenience a top priority.(Not surprising that they have been getting HR Excellence award for past 2 years)- Transition to move out all vendors is ongoing which sometimes can force an individual working in a heterogeneous environment with mixed priorities. ( And this provides a very good exposure from management and coordination perspective, but sometimes it can also be demotivating for some individuals)- Get to work with quite talented bunch of people. Hiring process is exhaustive, and what laterals gets hired are quite talented & resourceful.- Have got a very good leadership. Most of the higher-ups are easily accessible and always open to suggestions. Work environment is pretty open and everyone gets equal opportunities to shine
