My review is very different from the rest of the reviews, because I will never forget the service that this office has given me. As a Foreign Student, I am fascinated by the services of FRO Pune City. They have assisted me from beginning to end with accurate information and direction. The officers in charge were very cooperative.Thanks to FRO Pune City.

Due to covid pandemic, if u applied for visa extension, registration, student visa extension and all other visa matters online and have been called to office, i must call on the case officer mobile number when u reach fro on date and time they told to approach. Once u call officer will come out and take u to the room next to main entrance and discuss there as per the case. And collect documentation.

Soo rude ppl

Staffs are just rude. On the website of e-FRRO, it states No hard copy required. The officer here asked for the hard copy which can be printed from the online submission. Very efficient way of working.

I had read the google reviews and was skeptical about them before going to the office. But found out , they are co-operative as long as you have valid documents. Remember, given all the fraudulent documents floating around in India and illegal immigrants with fake documents (especially Bangladeshis), it is their job to protect the country. We cannot blame them. So if you have all valid documents, they wont harass you. But if you have anything fishy, they will catch you for sure.

Had to visit 3 times in the past year. Twice for a residence permit and once for a Visa renewal. All three times they were rude, trying to prove they have power over me by making me bring them unnecessary papers and in the end making the process painful and extremely long lasting.My typical quote to them was: My boss isnt paying me so that Im spending my time in this office and my money to the cab back and forth. They laughed. In my face.

The concerned officer will not be at proper designated desk.No Power back up in case of electricity interruption.Delayed process. Just harasses the foreigner.Very very bad experience. Every year the same worst experience. Although the staff changes but same poor performance by the new staffs. They wont do their job on proper time. Just delay the whole process. If you can afford agent then only your work will be done at super fast speed. Else waste of time energy and money.

Very cooperative and helpful if you follow what they asked you. Truth matters alot once u lie they will catch u and then you will face difficulty.

Its ok after processes become online and the staff changes. Thanks to the Govt of Maharashtra and Central Govt to take proper measures regurding our previous bad reviews.

Services are the worst in the world.No stuff helped me out.Theyve ignored me, ditching me and finally told me waiting for 5 minutes even though it took more than 1 hour.Ive waited all day for just getting my RP.I wish if it could become a convenience and radical place for foreigners.Its really time-consuming, hectic work Ive ever experienced

Staff is extremely rude and no one is doing their job with dedication.

Please carry your own hand soap, toilet paper, food, water, etc. Be prepared to wait for hours.

You are expected to orchestrate their internal workflow by carrying papers and forms from one counter to another; each official looks at you as a nuisance and asks for papers in some random and arbitrary way. The office itself is chaotic with no structure or a single individual that is trying to really work for the benefit of all the foreigners in the city. Bangalore FRRO is far superior with much better educated and dedicated staff.

Third class never answer any call

The staff are not responsible and they are really dishonest. They just delay your work without any logical reason. They waste their time by chatting with each other while keeping you wait for hours. They ask for bribe and if you complain they will not process your documents any further. Its a very unpleasant experience if you visit any time.

Horror. Very poor. I wish you never have to go here. Just get your work done from an overseas embassy. These people are Jokers. Government Jokers. They are supposed to be poliece officials but they are worse than hell.

1 star is too much for them ! they just pass people to other desks till you get tired and bribe them! Corruption, rudeness, and irresponsibilityAbsolutely DISASTER !

Their service always slow and they don’t help any one Immediately, the staff so rude, zero respect, also they ask for your online applications and when I print it out and they said it’s not necessary. Awful service.

Pathetic / irresponsible staff. They extort foreigners of their money, time and energy. They use multiple delay tactics to reduce their workload as they are incompetent and incapable of handling anything more than a cup of tea and conversation. Other FROs (Hyderabad, Bangalore) are far more superior while this lethargic staff lags behind.

Theyre good at being bad. Theyre slow and you can tell that they hate their job. Always complaining about systems are down so you have to come the next day and do the same bloody process. I hate this place and youll hate it too, it sucks that foreigners have to come here to do visa work.

Foreigners are fed up by their working style, VISA extension not at all done on committed period. toilets are so worst like road side you see in Pune. not liking to put a comment like that but its a fact.

An absolute joke, staff are rude, uneducated and treat people like animals, also the online application process is a disaster the website constantly crashes and gives errors, not one person there has any idea of customer service, not a good advertisement of India for tourists. It has left a very sick taste in my mouth. Avoid if possible

After india society and landlords have discriminated against you and refused you rent in their flat because you are a foreigner, you get to face bureaucracy and punishment for delay because you were a victim of racism, and India FRO dont care at all...its all about making money from foreigners thats all. worst of all registration offices i have ever come across

Cursing a place in Pune and the right to bribe the dog’s children and work in complete coldness. They do not respect Arab, American, or African .. So you have a broker to walk your affairs .. I hate India and the Indians after themthe stuff are Rude and not responsible if you have an agent your work will be done very fast
