During the COVID pandemic I saw the opportunities in the stock market and got interested in finance. I began reading many books of Ben Graham, Phill Fisher, Joël Greenblatt and Peter Lynch and during this process I discovered the FinTree videos on YouTube. The professor in those videos is Mr. Utkarsh Jain, who is in my opinion an extraordinary good teacher! He can explain many complicated subjects on finance in simple language and with a few impressive drawings (Im not saying he has extraordinary drawing skills also ;-) ) that makes understanding this material so much easier. In order to enforce myself in learning and develop discipline I enrolled for the CFA exam and the FinTree CFA Level I course. Not a second I regret choosing FinTree. I live in Belgium and participate every week in the live classroom sessions which are very professionally organized. I recieved my CFA exam results day before yesterday, I have scored in the top 90 percentile with a non finance (Engineering Background). I didnt bought any paid course from there. Mr Utkarsh (The Chief Training Officer) is an expert in making complicated and abstract subjects very easy. I personally found that whenever I am trying to study something directly from a textbook, it is very tiring and time-consuming. I came across FinTree videos on YouTube for CFA Level 1 related to various types of yields. The video was about 10 minutes long and the material in the video allowed me to intrinsically learn the concept without having to read or memorize anything. Therefore I went ahead and registered for the online course. I didn’t read a lot and just stuck to videos for the major learning of the curriculum and I passed with flying colors. The material is simple and to the point. It simplifies the concepts that are presented in a very convoluted manner. I would recommend these classes to anyone who is struggling to understand the concepts and is in a time crunch.

When I registered for the CFA Level 1 course on the CFA website and downloaded the CFA Curriculum, I was overwhelmed with the vastness of the subjects being covered. To be frank, I was a little nervous about how one could read the ~3,600 odd pages from 10 different subjects within such a short period of time.So, being a full-time working professional, I decided to look for some online help with my preparation. After visiting some forums and watching Youtube videos, I decided on enrolling for the online FinTree Platinum package and within a couple of weeks, I could feel that I had made the right choice.Being an MBA from IIM Kozhikode, I have experienced some of the best Finance professors in the country, but Utkarsh Sir is easily one of the best instructors I have come across in my career. His vast personal industry experience along with his depth for the financial markets is the one thing that stands out for me.The best part is that FinTree as a team takes a lot of effort into ensuring that you are totally immersed in your goal of passing the CFA exam. The online course starts with regular classroom videos arranged by LOS topic-wise (very important) which also includes the impromptu doubts asked by students during the session making the learning more cohesive and complete. To add here, Utkarsh sir uses this flowchart comparison teaching techniques for a lot of the concepts within the video lectures so this makes it easy to understand and remember them.They also offer other materials like regular monthly tests, summary videos, formula videos, question banks, mock exams and a Level Zero section, an introductory video lectures with some of the basic Finance concepts which will help immensely for someone who has no prior exposure to Finance (works best for Engineering graduates).I feel this level of detail not only prepares you for the exam but for the Finance industry as a whole, in the end, we are surely preparing for passing the exam but ultimately we want to be the best in the market so that we are hired by someone who can pay us!!Lastly, as Utkarsh sir always says, believe in the process and you will be fine. The best learning experience I have had while preparing for my FRM Part 1 Exams. I am maried with 2 kids under 5 years in age and found it extremely difficult to cope up with the FRM Part 1 content which needs immense time and commitment to get favourable results. It is one of the best institutes for professional certifications and even better if you attend live classes.Faculty- Utkarsh Sir is the best mentor you can have. we students call him sir because he has earned that title.Very humble and always ready to help.He makes session lively with such good examples that you will not forget those concepts for long.Have weekly and mock exams to keep you on your toes.Support staff is very helpful and online portal has lot of questions for practice.

Customer service is poor. They focus on sales and nothing else. I had an urgency and requested to change my access but they never got back to me after taking 700USD.
