A very nice cafe.. calm and peace u can describe it as. One can work, chill, read etc there while having some crunches. Dishes are all tasty and take less service time. Naturistic architecture. Indoor and outdoor eating space. All in all a good place.

A quaint cafe in the heart of Kalyani nagar with a homely feel and vibes of a place you can just walk-in and have a chat with friends while enjoying filter coffee and knick knacks. However the staff is new and untrained. They dont recommend any specials and they seem to be under pressure. The menu is good would love to try more.

And, the best menu (innovative) and the best taste...It is in the residential area of Kalyani Nagar. You can expect total silence around.I would recommend to go there in taxi / cab, as parking is an issue in the small lane. Though, I wont take away any stars for that.Cheers!

Nice resto with soft music playing around. Dishes here have different name as its have some south touch to it. I ordered Nachoes with cheese and they provide me chakli topped with cheese and mavnies. Though it tasted good it is something unexpected. Price is bit higher here and not easily located in kalyani nagar. Parking is also problem.But overall good place to hangout with friends and new menu to explore.

The classy bright Yellow and Blue color dominates the place. Outdoor and Indoor seatings both are simple, cosy and comfortable. The book shack for leisure noons, the jhoola seating for dining, a small fountain elevates the mood. A bungalow turned into a restaurant.. beautiful ambience.. has small library.. differently prepared yummy south indian food with a tadka.. everything we had was definitely tasty. Only thing, on the day we went their chef were on holiday, due to which service was extremely slow that we had to cancel one or two orders! Otherwise its a must try place! Also, my baby was sleeping and the staff co operated so well to put her at ease even on sofa chair.

Interior is good.. Ambience is good... Food serving style is good.. But not having a exact South Indian taste to the south Indian food items.. Not recommended if you really want to know the real taste of South Indian food.. They prepare South Indian food a per Maharashtrian style.. You will get taste of daal khichadi in PONGAL. and prices are at higher side.. And less quantity of food they offer.. So going here is not that much worth.. It just not about money but about the taste..and service is tooooo slow

I agree on the ambience part, beautifully done. However, the wait time was too much in the morning, around 9:30am. Perhaps being a new place, new people, they werent well informed on what was available and how long it would take to get ready, it took 15 mins after which we stepped out. Will check it out again later and hopefully I can edit my comment.

A real fun culinary experience. The serene outdoorsy ambience with a French color scheme resembling Pondicherry is a surprise element in midst of a busy Poona neighbourhood.One could spend a long time with family and friends and feel relaxed. The hostess was very helpful and attentive. The service needs a little pep talk but overall staff was very friendly.The food was excellent. It is presented well and is very appetizing. We were a large group so tried out variety of dishes on the menu. The twist and interpretation of different foods from regions of India and dishes from around the world is really a treat to the palate.The Biryani, Chennai Express Margarita and the Paan Pannacotta are dishes that we all savoured. Highly recommend this place.

So we ordered a dish that clearly looked undercooked. When we asked for it to be taken back, the chef had the audacity to send it back to us saying that this is how it is. The owner had left by then and her never bothered to talk to us. They even charged us for the dish despite our protest.Pathetic service and unempowered staff making it a place not worth visiting again

Cafe Pondi is one of the most cosy places in Kalyani Nagar you can ever find. Peaceful ambience to relax and take a break from Ur work schedule. The best past of this place is the books that they have. (If your a book lover) service a bit slow. Filter coffee on point however the food portion is less compared to pricing.

A very well set up. It gives you the feel of Auroville Pondicherry. Menu has the south Indian dishes modified for a cafe. Do try the Idli waffle served with coconut chutney and the filter coffee brownie with ice cream. They offer good sandwiches. Welcome to the leaf community. They serve water with mint leaves, brownie too has a mint on top.

Everything on the menu was yum (at least whatever we ordered). Try sticking to authentic dishes instead of fries or pizza and stuff. The staff if quite friendly and the place is quite cute and comfy. Perfect for a breakfast date or a client meeting or just a sole working sesh. :)

I was surprised by this place. Its vintage, but so fresh. Old school. The flavors are on point. I tried the Aglio Olio, and to my surprise, it came in as a pizza, and it was delicious, so heavenly.

Relaxed Cafeteria... Ambience is fresh and decor is pretty organic. Service is very slow and maybe due to its still new entrant. Liked there paneer 65. As a main course had tried their curry appam combo for which quantity was very less. Next to our table, another group was enjoying meal. Cafe owner was fully busy in entertaining that group. Recommending them dishes, ensuring they get food in time and having feedback on test. Sadly not even once, he approached for anything.

Ambience is awesome. Totally old colonial. The seating is very tastefully done. The music was awesome too. Now lets come to the food - although I am not a great fan of any fusion the place does good on food. There are some places that you will just feel so warm & cosyin that everythingh else can be ignored this is like it! They have a cute little library where you can borrow books while around.

Excellent vegetarian food, mostly South Indian, plenty of open air sitting, nice crockery and cutlery, nice ambience. Theres a library and a few sofas inside, presumably to make life bearable to the waiting customers.. You must try the Burmese Khow suey, among others. Good place for family, since alcohol is not served.

Being a South Indian themed restaurant this place is entirely veg. Well the ambience is very much appealing and comfortable. Full marks for the ambience. Tried their dosa Sichuan which was kind of spicy but overall it was not really out of the box. What disappointed me the most was their service, may be because they are new or so but the service was as bad as it possibly be. Didnt serve us with water nor was the order bought to us on time. Once they were done with giving us the food they didnt bother to come back to us and ask for something else.
