NICMAR, is one of the top Construction Management Institute in India when its comes to reputation and placements, its also great to know that the institute is student driven and provides great opportunities to students to actively take part in various managements processes and get great corporate exposure.

I am a recent graduate of Nicmar. Good campus for construction management, even though the Nicmar experience in terms of the education was good I still rated 1 star. The reason is because of the organizations called placement committee and students internship committee (They both are organizations made of student members).The problem is that the placement committee is not transparent with their actions. They don’t provide the necessary details to the batch mates.There is a practice called auto registration during placements which will not allow the students to apply to the job they like instead, the placement committee selects the job for them.Some members of the placement committee show partiality and provide better job opportunities to themselves and their friends. So juniors if you want better jobs get into the placement committee.Some placement committee members act like thugs and they bully their fellow classmates and batch mates. The committee members talk down to their own batch mates in a bad way.I also would like to state that three or four placement committee members are good but the rest act unprofessionally. I understand the placement committee members have a lot of work but still that will not get them a free pass to act unprofessionally as stated above.The problem with the placement committee, is going on for years so it’s time that the Nicmar authorities look into the placement committee and instruct them to act professionally and make the placement procedures transparent. I would like to remain anonymous but if the Nicmar authorities dont trust this review then they can ask the current batch students or alumni anonymously and they will tell you the truth. Don’t take this review in the wrong way, consider it as constructive criticism and please do the needful.Edit: Its fine if I am not identified just pass the grievances to the respective parties or give an email address I will personally send it to them.

Being an alumini of the prestigious institute, I think I am eligible to write the review. The training and value addition by NICMAR is aligned with the need of the construction industry. Best campus for PGP if one is looking for career in Construction Industry. One of its kind.

Previously it used to be a best place for construction related learning and research. But, now it has become more of business with more intake of students and increased fees. Other than that, it is one of the best place for construction management courses in India.

Small but cute 10 acre campusSecurity guards are more than students !Except baggage scanner everything is been there ..even airport security wont check passenger bags like Nicmar security guards..Class rooms are spaciousSeminar rooms are bit smallGate-2 is mostly used by everyone .Gate-1 is opened for students only in college hours.I stayed here in executive hostels .so iam writing below points with regard to it only.Hospitality is excellentFood is exceptionalNearby there are many bars and food stalls are just opposite to gate-1..

This place rocks among others in its core industrial sector relations. It offers a vibrant and happening campus, with state of the art courses in Management studies. Hostel facility for the students is available, sorry for the food though!.

Very bad Institute, almost destroyes every engineers career. Firstly tells story of giving placement in the top mnc s.. Then they offer only 10k 12k salary after getting 13-14 lakhs as course fees.

Yes, I do agree that academic fee is on a bit higher side but I suggest everyone to look on Return on Investment rather than just Investment. NICMAR is an unique name for Construction Management Programme at Pune in India.Unfortunately , I have been selected for the training on Construction Project management in Rural Road from 29th Oct 18 to 3rd Nov18 as an representative of W.B.Here all the faculty members are very very sounds in their field and also good behaviour with a smiling face. So everyone can interact without any hesitation .All the teaching and non-teaching staff & also students are very nice. Fooding and lodging are very good quality.We seen a very clean beautiful Campus where punctuality is remarkable forever.

Hyderabad Nicmar worst institute dont believe this college. They are projecting fake placement status and simply stealing your fathers money. 10 lakhs for acm is waste of your money and there is no assurance that even you will get 25000 job per month. dont believe this college friends even they are deleting negative reviews and keep only good reviews. ask your senior batches how the placements are and after paying lakhs of rupees they still sitting in home and waiting for jobs. I think again they might delete my review but seriously dont join this fake institute with placement records.
