Good place to hang out with friends and for couples.Great food. We tried the south style chicken and Prawns there. They definitely have a unique style of cooking and the taste is different too.

This place is one of the best upscale place for dinning in. We ate the executive lunch there and it was fabulous. The service from staff is very good. The food was also tasty.the ambience is also magnificent. Overall the place is very good. Just one thing I think which needs to be improved is availability of draught and craft beers and also introducing happy hours.

The ambience, music, food all great. The vegetarian dishes we tried we better than the non vegetarian. The carbon pav bhaji was nothing different, tastes like the normal pav bhaji only. The fusion restaurant, good for group friendly dinner.

Masala Bar on a Saturday night - Thought it would be just another bar where I could have a quiet drink or two. I had reserved a table for 10.30 pm and expected to get a table easily.But the moment the doors opened, I felt I was entering a nightclub! The atmosphere was electric, the DJ was rocking and people were swinging in their chairs! The place was full of energy and even the side tables were occupied! We had to wait for good 15 minutes to get a table.The cocktails were nicely done and the food served was masaledaar - doing complete justice to the bars name.So, a highly recommended place at Balewadi high street if you are looking to spend some rocking time with you friends but dont forget to reserve your table!

It was a wonderful evening that we enjoyed at Masala Bar at Balewadi Highstreet. The ambience was great and so was the service. We tried multiple options both in veg and non veg and we need to acknowledge the fact that the efforts put by the team was every penny worth. When in Balewadi highstreet, this place is a the place to be, for drinking or for dancing.The food, the ambience and the music are unmatched.Best to go on a Saturday night dance party.The cocktails and the drinks are good. The prices are a little on a higher side but the music makes up for all.Good to go out with family or friends for a good gala time.

This was one of the places pending to be visited since quite some time.. a quiet saturday night was quite unlikely of this place but maybe due to the loong festive weekend..Food as we order is surely very good to taste... n so is the presentation.. however its quite highly priced as per the portion served for starters..Like kothambir vadi was yumm with dash of chutneys.. however really expensive..The main course also is nice especially not to miss the kaali dal with lehsuni kulcha or the macaroni prepared in cheese sauce..The variety in food is quite less... menu can be more exhaustive..Only for food quality which is good.. this place can be thought of repeat visit.. else may be no...

I don’t know from where to start with this one. WHAT-A PLACE !!! The Masala Bar comes up with a limited yet great menu with a twist in each dishes. The taste is so mind blowing. Each of you have to try out this new place.

The food was really awesome.. means u can not stop yourself eating there.. i ordered cheese kulche, Hara matar ka kabab and desi chowmein masala bar special... And all of these were super perfect.

The menu is interesting with several Indian dishes presented in a westernised form- such as Potato nuggets chat with breadsticks. The restaurant has a good ambience - high ceiling, nice decor and some nice mocktails. But it can be noisy and crowded in the weekends. Parking is available and a valet service too. Book in advance if you do not to be disappointed.

Went for dinner with friends tonight, it was a good experience. Food quality was good, although taste can be little better. Ambience/surrounding is good but feels congested as chairs of 2 tables are so close they will struck each other as you need to get up. Feels cost is little bit much. Misal pav was at 300. Service was very good. Live music did add 4 CHAND to the dinner, singer was very good. All in all a very good experience. I would recommend the restaurant.

The name itself depicts a different concept with an Indian touch.Well, I wasnt wrong in assuming this.Situated on the busy Balewadi High Street , this restaurant has established its existence.What we had :Appetizers-* Chini Chinese Bhel - Chinese Bhel served in the most different way - in a half cut bottle. The taste was quite similar to the normal Chinese Bhel that we get , but the after taste was quite spicy.* Bangkok Salad - Also called the Karari Kakdi salad.* Lahori Murgh - I personally loved this dish. It was perfect - marination , taste , texture - everything was perfect.* Kari Patta and Pepper Prawns - This was one unique dish. I have never tried the combination of kari patta with prawns as the sole marination and I must say , I was impressed!Main Course -* Nalli Nihari - Slow cooked meat ( mutton) along with the bone marrow. This dish always comes under my comfort food list. It is a must try at Masalabar.* Carbon Pav Bhaji - This unique concept just blew my mind. The Pav and the Bhaji are slow cooked and during the preparation itself , the carbon is infused. The end result is quite amazing though.Kuch meetha ho jaaye -* Airy Red Velvet Cake , Maakhan Malai - Desserts form 80% of my appetite. This one in particular has become my new favourite. The red velvet cake is puffed up and stuffed with malai. What a combination!* Baileys Lollipop - When you visit a garden you often come across a beautiful setting of flowers. One such beautiful setting is the Baileys Lollipop dessert at Masalabar. Soft Chocolate coating filled with Baileys Irish Cream. Loved everything about the place, they give you food in old stone style crockery which gave me a Flintstones kinda feeling.I will definitely visit again until I have tried all items on menu, which is not very long so I guess they will need to keep inventing more dishes in their lab.

One of the crowded places in Balewadi High street in weekends. The aura is really nice with the high and energetic sounds. The lights and the ceiling style is impressive.The food was overall good in taste. They do not have any couple or stag entry. Just for a safe side its better to pre book a table during weekends. Visited masala bar with a group of friends . We reached around 7 and we were the first customers for that day. I loved the food and the quick service . The service staff was well trained and helped out a lot. As you can see from the pics the food did not disappoint at all. Every dish we ordered was amazing and we ended up reordering the dish again. Must visit place in balewadi high Street . Good food great ambience and a refreshing selection of drinks makes an amazing day

We had been to Masala Bar for dinner and got our table table booking easily.Food selection is limited but then this place is more famous for their drinks.Try visiting when they have offers on drinks to get the best deal.Surprisingly the food was very good for a bar.Ambience of the place was great, enjoyed the music and place a lot.

This place serves great food. But make sure you go there only for dinner/lunch . If you think you can go there well dressed with your date or spouse be careful. You will find many mid age people standing there and you guys are there eye candy. This is not a place for birthday celebration or party . Its good for just a dinner. Music was pathetic. If you wish to enjoy music and food please go to 1bhk. These peaple dont have bouncers. A random lady says she is a manager. Trust me its a waste of money .

Great food excellent presentation

Nice place to booze around!! The alcohol and the food was definitely good. The staff was polite and cooperative. The place is really too loud when it comes to music. The medley of old Bollywood songs would definitely be one thing you won’t be expecting out of this place. No problem with Bollywood music but the choice could have been better. Limited seating arrangement was another disappointment. Else everything was fab!!

Lovely ambience. Layout is designed carefully and not something which is just pushed as different ambience.Food quality is great but quantity is exactly in reverse. If you are ordering starters then keep in mind that quantity is very less so order 1 extra.Service is good and attentive. Pricy compared to the quantity being served.

Good variety and very tasty food. We ordered veg and non veg food, all of them were delicious. The pepper prawns could do with a little more of spice to tone down the sweetness of the caramelized onions.

The Masala Bar located at the High Street, Balewadi is quite good. The quality is really good, and the way they present is also I found really unique. The dishes in which they serve are different. Though this place is not for a normal budget food experience, the cost and quantity dont do justice to each other, but the quality of the food makes up to it. Giving it a 4 star just for the imbalance between cost and quantity of the food.

Masala bar is a recent addition to already rich and classy Bale wadi high Street. It has some unique cuisines on offer. I went in with my group for DJ and Dinner and the team thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and service. Only thing is the place is a bit small but overall great.

Food taste is very bad. As per the money they charge for any dish, quantities they serve is very little. Even 2 person can not eat in any dish you order. Mineral water is for Rs. 150+tax, so you can imagine how costly it is. Cost can be ignored If foods taste is good. But believe me Food taste is really pathetic. On top of that they will charge you service charge extra 7.5%. Dont even think to go there.

Masala bar is a chain of restaurant. Its a nice place with good music. They dont have dance floor but music will make you groove while sitting. The ambience could be more better. They dont have their own parking place. There is common parking place for all the visitors. The service is fast and the food tastes good. The washrooms are clean too. Overall a nice and enjoyable place to go with friends.

Visited this bar today to explore another avenue for food and cocktails. But was a bit dissapointed with it overall. The food menu is outdated and does not host platters or grilled (veggies for e.g.) food. Also the cocktails are pretty standard with very less quantity and no value for money. The ambience is good by the way. If they improve on food and drinks quality would be a good place to hang out...

This is one of my favourite place to eat and drink with family during weekends. Food is tasty. Non-vegetarian items are tender and well cooked. Not too spicy and enough quantity. Bira beer is available in plenty and should enjoy. Ensure that you arent driving after drinking. ☺️

Inexperience staff , poor handling of customers and serving which is very important in this industry is lethargic.Dishes for food are same for starter and main course , smaller size.They cannot handle bigger groups with efficiency and may spoil your quality time.Their music pattern is confused and loud.You cant spend quality time with family and friends on weekends in this resto bar so avoid.Youngsters may like it. There is Scope to improve and perform.The taste of food is good - silver line in the cloud!

We ordered one mushroom starters and dont know wat oil they used to fry the mushrooms. I didnt like the smell and also the taste.We ordered Noodles as well and that too tasted bad.Rest I didnt try the food.

The ambience is great , they play great music and the speakers they have are fantastic. The bar is well kept and services are great . The only problem is that there is less food in the menu and not many north indian cuisines. If dishes are headings and their types are sub headings , the place is full of headings , but no sub headings at all (e.g. there is only one type of paneer (cottage cheese) gravy vegetable) . For non vegetarians , the restaurant offers quite some variety. It is a budget friendly place which will cost about ₹ 300-500 per head.

Perfect food.. Unbeatable chole kulche... Awesome ambiance... Service a bit slow.... But anytime for the delicious food.. But nothing for kids... When asked for a kid meal they refuse which is not good... Not a good place for kid else its perfect food.

A sweet surprise to the taste buds will be given with the Airy Gulabjamun. The waiter suggested us the apt dishes and also guided about its quantity and sufficiency. The staff is friendly. The taste of the food is good. Just follow the suggestions given by the waiters and you will love the food. Trying less known dishes can be risky though as the prices are high.The prices of the drinks is moderate. Surely a place to pay a visit.
