Their Kaju katali and Bakarwadi have a unique taste. Bakarwadi is a must try. There is a Tukada (broken) Bakarwadi available in less price than the normal Bakarwadi.

One will definitely get confused about picking up the right stuff.. There is lot of variety in foods. The best item is Chitales Bakarwadi which is infectiously tasty and lip smacking.. The franchise of Puness famous Chitale Bandhu mithaiwale on Sinhgad Road, with essential and must have bakharwadi . Many varieties of sweets, and butter / ghee of high quality available. All credit /debit cards payment acceptable. Food quality excellent in line with their reputation.Only shortcoming is no separate parking available for visitors. You have to seek your own parking on the road. Considering the congestion on Sinhgad Road during business hours /evenings, finding the parking slot is quite a herculean job. Also no wheelchair friendly parking.COVID precautions strictly observed during my visit

Now a days Chitales have saturated Pune with small retailers, this is one of those places. Its a small shop, conveniently located. It has most of the best-selling items. Also I have noticed that these days quite a few of the mega Chitale bandhu stores have downsized. The square footage of the previously huge stores has reduced. And so has the nice variety of products they used to have previously. Except for a few main stores (like laxmi road) you dont get all the products and something feels amiss.For this store in particular it gets the job done. We got what we wanted. Wasnt crowded and the transaction was smooth.

Well.. have been to this outlet only once and I cant really think of anything for which I should give them any less star.. theyre good at customer engagement and attentive.. has ample products in stock which seems to be fresh..Cards accepted and has some parking space for two wheelers.. no parking space for cars though one star gone there... Rest all good...

Earlier when they used to shut the shop at 1pm, i had some vad experiences, but now a days, shopping experience is amazing with them.Every time we visit any relatives , bakarwadi is the delicacy we offer them as speciality of pune.. and its needless to say, the taste and quality is consistent across 10cyears i am shopping.
