Date:11/3/2020.The decision to operate my father from Dr.Ranjit Jagtap was really devastating as my father could not survive. Doctors took the decision to operate him after checking his heart condition and said he should be okay, only to see he never opened his eyes again.Me with my mother and father walked in the hospital and left the hospital after 7-9 days in Ambulance carrying my Dads body.Dr. Ranjit Jagtap never met us once my Father was expired.They should have never operated him with such a poor heart condition.Such a experience doctors and such a poor decision.They are human after all, and that too with such a poor decision making skills.I urge everyone to take 2-3 opinions before u go ahead with surgery.I should have not gone ahead with the surgery,I will regret it for my entire life.My world has gotten upside down .😔

My father (72y) underwent CABG*5 surgery in Sep 2018. The stay in the hospital (RMHF) was for 8 days. 1 pre-op, 3 days ICU, 1 HDU and got discharged on the 9th day.Dr. Jagtaps core team is highly trained for the job. What stands out is that he personally announces the completion of surgery and clarifies each and every question. His behavior, demeanor and communication is up to the mark and portrays the confidence that has come after completing over 30K successful surgeries. Be rest assured that he will not misguide you into getting the surgery done and is probably one of the best person for the job.The reasons for one less star are delays in the services by the staff after shifting to general ward (especially at night) and canteen/patient food (little more oily that expected for a heart patient).As far as Dr. Jagtaps contribution is concerned, we have no complaints or concerns there.Post-operative recovery was smooth and we didnt face any major issues, apart from some muscular pain in the 1st month.
