Best hostel for students in mit wpu , maintained

The rooms are very small. Storage space/cup boards are small. Common toilets and bathrooms. The location of the hostel is about 2km from the MIT rear gate. No WIFI. No shops or restaurants nearby.

The MIT Boys Hostel is a great hostel to live in if we consider only the accomodation price, security, and amenities, the major drawback of staying here is that the hostel doesnt allow you to use electric kettle, you cannot use a kettle of yours here, they have provided us with a single kettle for all the students staying in the hostel, also you will have to travel about 1.5 km from here to The MIT WPU college to have your breakfast, lunch and dinner because the hostel doesnt provide these in there premises. Talking about the food here, seriously talking the food of the mess is very costly and it rarely provides you with good food, on regular days students prefer to eat outside because they know that food in the mess will be as usual without any taste. Overall I find that this hostel is good but only for accomodation, but mess is compulsory so i would not recommend staying here.

Extraordinary Place to reside for the students..... Sanitation is kept on a high priority.... Gatherings n Events are conducted too....

Great place to spend first year of your college life. You will make a lot of friends and trust me will not regret this decision, and its in a pretty decent price just 50k per year apart from food, you can get a place to live at this price range and this awesome, the hostel is clean secure and safe. There is no single event of raging on hostel campus.people are friendly as everyone is new. If you are from out of Maharashtra then go for the hostel, its far from College but you can manage with auto or walk with friends to college and believe me its fun. Rooms are very awesome and maintenance is done very good. Toilets are kept

Life on Campus-HostelsEnough hostel accommodation is available on campus for both boys and girls.The campus hostel is located on Paud Road in salubrious and lush green surroundings. All the hostel buildings are provided with 24 hrs. security guards. Boys hostel is a five storey building having accommodation for 400 students. Two separate buildings are meant for Girl-students, one in MIT School / Hostel campus near MIT boys hostel, with a capacity of 300 girl-students and the other building is located in the MIT College Campus, accommodating 175 girl-students.There are various facilities in hostels like - canteen, public phone, cold drinking water, hot water for bath, etc. For entertainment the T.V. sets are available in recreation halls. However, viewing time is pre-defined. A Doctor visits the hostel, twice a week to conduct medical check-up.

I still remember those days..Many restriction..but those were the best days of my life..friends were life..Spacious rooms,brand new washroom,best view from 4-5 floor back side, water cooler at every floor, no such water or electricity problem..Just that colg mess is compulsory who serve the good food for 1-2months and later that quality ends...so from almost 300 students 8-10 are left back every year.

Worst hostel. Very poor infrastructure. Rules of hostel are very foolish. Not worth to stay here just because they are unable to provide services for what they promise you.

It is still work in progress. Not so great place. Better go for Paying Guest near MIT WPU.

Good Hostel facilities as per rooms n living...Worst food to eat whole year.....Id been living here for 3 years....But the good piont of being here is , you make a lot of memories , friendship and brotherhood.... :P

I was here for 1 year(2016 -17). Guardian, security guard are strict. They dont allow u to enter hostel after 11:00 pm. U can enjoy the IPL matches here.u have to walk about 1.5 km twice a day to have have meal. Coz mess is in the clg campus n hostel is near PNG jewellery. Enjoy ur hostel life.now fees for hostel + mess reaching limits(1.3lakh 2018 19).hostel is much better than mess.

Very strict rules. Dont come here. Else take a flat or pg . There is no facility of Wifi and also you can’t order food in the hostel even in the daytime .

Just a to live for students nothing lovable about it, Specially security guards are too rude bathrooms have no doors or lights.

Cannot expect much form a hostel but this one provides much lesser features than others. Not that worth as the value.

Recently my knowns son come to Pune for higher studies in MIT college. He is staying in this hostel. Hostel is okay, by no food facility even they dont allow to keep small induction cooker to get a hot milk in night. At least hostel management has to provide a comon kitchen.

Best place for engineering students.... Can have a blast here and enjoy your hostel life.....

Worthless hostel. No facilities at all.They dont even allow you to order food from outside. Routers have been set up but no internet connection. Renovation of bathrooms has been going on since a couple of years so total inconvenience.

The palce is great, its just that you have to join college mess compulsorily, which does not serve that good food(for food Ill give 2/5 stars). This is according to my stay there for a year.
