Two historical temples are there in Dhayarigaon, first one is Dhareshwar Mandir and second is Kalbhairav Mandir. Dhareshwar is one of the name of lord shiva. Due to this Shiv temple the name of place Dhayari is borne.Until 1990, Dhayari was a small village and its economy was based upon farming.I have shared some photos from 1990 and some are latest of February 2020.As the population of Pune increased, Dhayari changed after 2005 from a village to a suburb of Pune.

The temple of Dhareshwar in Dhayari village, which can be seen at a pleasant time in the morning or in the evening, is worth experiencing. We go to the temple through the path surrounded by Audumbar, Pimpal etc. trees. As you climb the stairs, there is a shadow base on both sides. The hands are unknowingly joined while looking at the self-contained happy Shivling in the temple.Dhareshwar Temple is located in an area of four and a half acres. The present form of the temple was constructed in 1978. The area around the temple is green. The locals visit the Khandoba temple on the hillside from time to time. Shri Dhareshwars temple is 350 years old. Many members of the Raikar family live in Dhayari village. This temple has been built with the devotion of Jaitujibaba Raikar, a great man of this family. At present, all the management of this temple is done by Shri Dhareshwar Mahadev Sansthan, Dhayari. The story of this temple is as follows.Jaitujibaba, a native of the Raikar family, was a devotee of Shiva. He used to visit Shikhar Shinganapur in Satara district every day. I used to go in the morning and come back in the evening. One day when they were coming from Shikhar Shinganapur, it got dark. They were terrified; But at that time Lord Shankar himself came in the form of a sadhu and said, dont be afraid. I am with you. Just dont look back until you get home. Hearing this, Jaituji Baba left. Now when he came to the place where Dhareshwar temple is, Baba thought that now he has come to his village. No problem looking back now. They look back, what if, in the form of a sadhu, the real Lord was standing there and in the same place they were hiding. Swayambhu Shivling was proved at that place. Shikhar Shinganapur has a self-contained Shivling in its form, as well as here.Jaituji Baba then built a small temple at that place. After a few more days, Jaituji Baba became very tired. It also became difficult for them to travel from home to this temple. So they started pouring water on the ground in their homes, remembering Gods name. Shivling was also proved in his residence at that place. Today, his house is called Devwada.Later, the idea of taking Samadhi alive came to his mind and he asked his children to dig a pit for it. The children went to dig a pit. The first pit was dug, where the Shivling appeared. Another pit was dug, where Shivling also appeared. While digging 7 such pits, 7 Shivlings were revealed. The children were told this fact by the father. Then when Jaituji Baba prayed, the Shivling did not go to the eighth place and at that place Jaituji Baba took Samadhi alive. Even today you can see Sanjeevan Samadhi and 7 Shivlings. After climbing a little, there is a temple of Saturn on the right side. The idol is old; But the installation took place four-five years ago. As you ascend the main stairs, you are greeted by two huge lanterns. Nandi, who is between the two, is sitting facing the Shiva temple. There is a temple in the front yard. The sabhamandapa is also a good aisle, clean and there you can see Shiva devotees chanting God. Hands are unknowingly joined while looking at this happy Shivling in the temple. The edge of the anointing continues uninterrupted from the copper vessel. This self-contained place has been created by Jaituji Babas devotion to Shiva. Pooja and Abhishek starts at 6 am every day in the temple. Aarti was held again at 7.30 pm. Darshan is closed from 12 noon to 4 pm.Chaitra Vadya Chaturthi is filled with a big procession of Shri Dhareshwar. It is planned on Gudipadva day. On the eighth day of Mahadevs stick or yoke padva, Shikhar leaves for Shinganapur. Shinganapur is the first place on the banks of Dhayari village. It is mentioned by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in his copperplate 20 months AD 1324 Chaitra. She returns twelve days later. All those who go with this kavadi are arranged by the organization. When the yoke returns, there is a big celebration. Bhajans, kirtans, discourses make the premises devotional. Behind the main Dhareshwar temple is the Datta temple in the shadow of Audumbara. After that the construction of Akkalkot Swamis temple has been completed. You always feel the pleasant atmosphere while looking at the whole area.On the occasion of Mahashivaratri, an exhibition of Sanatan-created scriptures and sattvic products will be set up in the premises of Swayambhu Deola in such a scenic environment. Devotees must take advantage of it.
Om Namah Shivaya
