Huge ghat in Alandi. On both side of Indrayani river. Temple is on walking distance. Parking for two wheeler and 4wheeler available on paid service. Ghat is clean in normal days. Nice seat in evening.

The place is very lively, bustling with local people doing religious chores, and peope selling all kinds of sweets.

The place is not commercialised with ticket counters etc. No need of special passes or VIP tickets. The structure is maintained well internally, as far as the temple - samadhi is concerned. The entire structure is huge and spread out over acres of land. One can make purchases of idols ,lamps , and many other things. You also can buy the special red kumkum which is supposed to be made from some kind of turmeric.One thing that is needed is the cleaning of the Kalyani river. On the whole, it is a peaceful feeling that one gets while visiting the place.

There are beautiful views on the river bank. But those who wash clothes and throw clean water have polluted the ghat. There is a small ditch under the pedestrian bridge which gives off a bad smell in the river area. The administration and the locals need to take care of this.
