I went there for a dinner buffet with my husband. Well to begin with though its covid around, proper measures were undertaken. Each and every item there looked delicious. I couldnt forget my delicious pizza ,pasta,my dessert. It was overall a very fine dine experience. Its a little budgeted but I can assure its worth every penny. The wines there are so good. Would soon visit again

Good food, staffs are good. Loved the experience. Went there for office get together. Amazing ambience. They have great variety of desserts. Mushroom tofu chilli was really tasty. Chocolate mousse was really smooth and loved the slight dark flavour.

A really good hotel in JW marriott pune. The cuisine is continental (every cuisine). Seating is ample and nice. Their buffet is really good. Food is delicious and service is also great. Overall a good experience, chef Bhuralal creatively presented a complimentary birthday pastry which was the highlight! Taste is good, flavourful food, nice spread.Though the spread was large, it missed starters, chat section was closed. It would definitely add a silver lining to include some mocktails in the buffet.Seating for two is more like a cafe setting and uncomfortable for lunch/dinner unless you sit on a table for four.

It was a very bad dining experience at The Spice Kitchen. I read many bad reviews but wanted to experience the hospitality myself. So what I experienced is keep the hospitality aside , taste of the food aside , even the spread of the buffet aside , u will get nothing good over there. We regret going there on our Wedding Anniversary, the. Staff is arrogant and doesn’t bothers to help in anything , neither serving nor in promptness of taking any order .They are busy talking with each other. The taste of food is not up to the brand standard and is even not hot enough .It is really very very disappointing.Will never visit again nor will recommend it to anyone even if all the restaurants in the city are closed.

By far the best buffet we had in our life. Although a bit pricey (Rs 1750 per person) but taste wise every dish was prepared with love. The starters were great. Main course was good. The deserts were truly heavenly. Will surely visit again.

Spice kitchen as the name suggest is a kitchen which offer a huge variety of food with spices. Its an amazing place with very good ambience. They serve luscious food, I ordered white sauce pasta & I can tell you I never had such amazing white sauce pasta and its still on top of my list. The staff is highly mannered and very sweet.There is a huge section of desserts, you will find some startling option over their.Overall had an great experience with the food. A big thanks to the chefs that it was a remarkable visit.

Food is decent, but this place has a really sorry state when it comes to service.-No water offered even 8-10 mins after being seated-Not attentive towards clearing tables-Staff isnt attentive at all about the needs of customers who are sitting, placed a order for 3 rotis, nothing served even after 10 mins, then the chef comes asking do you want anything? skip this place if you want any sort of customer service.

Story of my worst dining experience..Note : zomato says it costs 2400 for two people, its actually 4800 rs.I went there for my saturday dinner once. Place was hella crowded. I waited at the restaurant gate for around 15 mins then somebody came to attend us. After entering we were given a seat with no instructions whatsoever on whats on-request and whats self service.We got water after 10 mins of trying to make eye contact with the server.We roamed around looking for food and realised that even though its a buffet, you cant reach your food. There is one server for multiple dishes, so the closest i would compare it with is when you go to a overcrowded wedding and wait at golgappa counter for your turn.Somehow i got food in plate, taste was average. after my first course i left my table to get something else. As a civilised person, i left my soiled plate on my table assuming someone would take care of it.I found underwhelming number of items in buffet so if you are a picky eater you might come back hungry from this place. I got a few curries and asked the server for some breads on my table.I got back, and the soiled plates are still there. Luckily we were two seated on a four seater table so we could fit. And then we wait.. for next 15 mins nothing happens and then the chef comes to our table and asks how are you liking the curries ? Do you need anything else? *Face palm*We got our hot bread after 20 mins which we ate with our cold curries. All of their chocolate desserts had slightly bitter taste which i didnt enjoy.Now i want you to note that we were seated at a table of four so there were four glasses on the table. We were served water twice (after a lot of begging of course) and water was poured in three glases. While we were our paying bill, our server took two glasses from our table and placed it on another table for a couple just arrived. I did not have the guts to correct him in front of his newly arrived guests.The END.

Its an amazing place within JW Marriott, SB road. They serve an amazing buffet both veg and non veg! The service is amazing, staff is extremely courteous. The food has alot of variety and its just a comfy place be it a family dinner or simply a date with your loved ones.

Pretty lively place and offers and buffet options are really good and considering a star hotel, menu isnt over-priced. One could also try the Sunday brunch which is equally affordable. Lovely ambience and courteous staff. Not much options for someone who does not eat non-veg but is ok with Egg will not have options and will be limited. For a change the chai in a star hotel was also good. One could spend good amount of time here amidst the chaos of the city. If you are staying longer then you could visit the rooftop bar and restaurant Paasha which is another good break taking view along with a drink. Overall very good experience, buffet menu could have a little more options for non-veg starters, although deserts collection is amazing.

Upscale yet understated, a lovely, luscious eating experience any hour of the day. The lunchtime buffet offers an amazing array of tantalizing choices from many cuisines. Excellent service, though the pizza we ordered at the pizza sidebar arrived a bit later than we expected. Still, the Spice Kitchen is top-tier.

The service and ambience as usual were good and lively. Very delightful food and tasty food with very dedicated service.They serve food for all kinds of taste, from barbaque to Chinese to continental food to tandoori to every thing as far as food is concerned. Ragi Dosa - A healthy dosa mixed with Brocolli, Carrot, asparagus. Served with coconut chutney and tomato chutney. Sabudana Vada with Quinoa Coating - this were some different type of sabudana vada and had a Coating of Quinoa which made it more tasty. Various dessert plate - this consisted of bircher museli, curd parfait with granola bar and oats with banana museli. Food quality is the best. All the dishes in the buffet are excellent and delicious. Very dedicated staff. Thank you and all the best spice kitchen!!

One of the best restaurant for having buffet. They have a really nice spread. Waffels are really good. Chef will make a vegetarian waffel if requested. As it is situated in JW Marriott parking is not an issue.

The best fine dining restaurant I have been so far in Pune. They have mainly four different varieties of food cus. Other than that you can also customise your dish. The staff is very polite and nice to you. I liked the ambience a lot its more brighter and better than other JW restaurants. Its a calm and appetizing environment.

Plethora of varieties in the bouffett! Had an amazing lunch here. Ambience is pleasant. Went with my colleagues, everyone binged on the food like they had been hungry for 2-3 days. Noodles, fried rice, salads, Main course, pizzas, biryani, fruits, and the best out of all - The dessert section. Honey Yogurt is a must have. Leechi cake, in-house chocolates, brownies, ice creams, gulab jamun, so many things that the plate gave up! The charges are a bit costly, but hey, you are not going to come everyday at JW Marriott for lunch, are you!? Enjoy!

It is one of the premier hotel in Pune. Location is great,Food quality is excellentBut I had very bad experience of this hotel, not worth of recommending to anybody. I was member of JW Marriott for access of lounge and cafeteria. One Sunday, I went with my family to have brunch there but hotel did not allowed us. Rather staff was so rude and unpolite, even they didnt release that they are insultung loyal customers.Staff even does not know how speak to customer.Finally I cancelled my membership and got read off this useless hotel.So dont go for membership program of this hotel.

Best food best service.

Nice food. But service could have been better. Due to pandemic, main course in buffet is served by staff and thats where we need to wait (obviously we are without mask, because we are not expecting that wait time) and that too very much infront of the main enterance of the restaurant. Not much staff there and whoever is there is super busy and working with no concept of queue. Not sure if they have some preferred customers whom they want to service first. After a while we realized we can request the staff to give on the table. But that was little too much and not a easy going hassle free dinner.

I had gone to Spice Kitchen for a buffet breakfast & my food review is specific to the food which I had at breakfast only. Spice Kitchen is a big restaurant with a good ambiance.The buffet breakfast was a huge spread. The buffet spread food from various cuisines North Indian, South Indian, Continental, Chinese etc. Along with food there were options of variety of juices & other beverages. Also variety of yogurts, jams & honey!I decided to have South Indian breakfast. First, I had tried Idly which was soft & goes well with coconut chutney & delicious sambhar. Then I go for Medu Wada Sambhar which was crispy & yummy. The taste of Medu Wada dip with sambhar was very good. I had also taken a spoon of Upma for the taste purpose. The Upma was a bit on stickier side & the taste was bland. Finally gone for Onion Masala Dosa which was crispy & yummy! The Dosa had a right proportion of Masala & onions.I had also tasted their bakery items like fruit cakes & muffins, etc. They were yummy! At last I had gone for my all-time favorite, bread toast with butter, additional toppings of salt & pepper. The toast goes quite well with a cup of Masala Tea.Overall satisfied with the food (which I had) & their service. The staff is courteous. I would definitely love to explore their buffet & al carte.

If you ever visit Pune for business or for pleasure, try to visit Spice Kitchen restaurant inside JW Marriott, of the finest Business Luxury 5 star hotels in Pune.The food there is excellent quality, with too many items to choose from!! The buffet lunch is excellent value for money. They have live kitchen, Indian menu, Continental and Chinese menu. However, I found the tables too close to one another, and because they were having live kitchen, there was smoke or smell in the restaurant.Overall, a very good experience, whether you are staying with Marriott or visiting one if their food joints, best value for money.

Went for the buffet. The service was excellent and the food was decent. Couldnt find much variety in Vegeterian but the non-veg options were plenty. Dont forget to check the live counter for some good on the table options. Can get a little crowded.

It’s actually a 4.5. Deducted for the very slow and sometimes missing service. Had to ask 3 times before water came. Twice before tea. Went on a Saturday morning so it was very busy. Otherwise the foods great, best in the area. Good selection and lovely bread and pastry station. Chai tea’s also top notch. Too bad all the Indian dishes were too spicy for my taste.

Our most favourite breakfast buffet place across Pune and Mumbai! We love traveling to Pune to take up a weekend stay at Marriott. We love the property that much. Especially the breakfast buffet. Wouldnt miss it for the world. The spread is huge! The staff friendly and accommodating, the the variety, exhaustive! The buffet timings at 7 to 10:30 so you can walk in tad later and still enjoy a luxurious spread! We make the most of it, right from Dosa options to egg options, to missal pav, pav bhaji, breads, cheese, juices, muffins and desserts! Its all yum!!!

We had buffet in spice kitchen. The food was good however service slow and food wasnt warm enough. They changed it once we pointed out but it should be warm by default.

The hotel is very posh and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and nicely furnished. The highlight of the stay was there impressive breakfast spread both in terms of variety and quality. The rooftop bar offers the amazing view of the city. Highly recommended.

2nd time in same hotelIts changed a great deal in 4 years!I thought my previous hotels were very good, though The Carat appears to be closer to the new bars that have sprung up in recent times. Very clean, comfortable hotel and easy access to a large amount of transport hubs.Highly recommended.

We went here for lunch. The spread at buffet is amazing from Indian, Italian, Chinese etc etc.The best part is the dessert they have all types of dessert from Indian barfi to western cakes and ice creams name it and they have it.Though i thought live counter could have been better. Pizza was served at live counter when we visited.On the whole the place have good ambience, courteous staff and soothing environment.

Food quality is very average considering Marriott standard. Spread was also very limited. Did not have much option in desert. Whatever option were available were very average like Chocolate Mousee, Gulab Jamun, waffles etc. Overall, I felt that it is over hyped restaurant which is not offering the value.Positive is good ambiance where you feel relaxed.
