Shakti in the form of Kali Maa dominates this place. Especially all the Kali Maa devotees in Pune, this place is a must visit. If one is receptive and goes whole heartedly to the Mandir, will be energized completely due to the presence of Shakti around.Well maintained by the trustees of the temple. Personally I keep visiting this place, whenever the chance arrives. Also, Every vehicle I have bought, is energized and purified at Kali Bari. I have also encouraged my near and dear ones to perform rituals here. It gives me immense satisfaction performing any rituals here. Just in Love with Kali Maas Presence.
Very nice place to visit. One of the oldest temple. Spacious, very neat & clean. One must visit this beautiful temple.
Went there quite no of times, had bhog also. We had performed some pujas also with the help of temple pandit.Very beautiful place only thing is outside the temple, road is a bit muddy.. But very big parking space. Must visit and seek blessings of Maa Kali
Visited with my family and children but was not allowed in . The young purohit said only if you offer puja are you allowed inside . I did not want to give in to his demand and said we only want a darshan , since I could spot two ladies already inside doing the same . But he simply refused and turned us away .I know the pandemic has hit revenues of temples ..... since when have you started putting a minimum spend/ charge for places of worship ? what makes you think i am not going to put something in the Hundi or is that too trivial an amount for you to sustain ?Absolutely shocking behaviour ! have seen this in Kalighat temple , Kolkata - these people are a menace . The Committee in charge are either ignorant or does not seem to care . Either you keep it open for all or completely closed due to the pandemic .... cannot have such discrimination in temples . Very poor experience ! Sincerely hope the PCB takes note of this !
This place is so wonderful. I felt like I was in home. Great place for everyone, but especially if you are a bengali and staying away from your home, then you will love it here. I went there to see Durga Puja. I will post some pictures below. The prasadh kas great, the Dhak and kashor.. Great place.
Nice Temple with all covids norms.. Excellent place to worship Maa Kali
Attended Durga Pooja here for the last couple of years. Oldest place for Bengali gatherers. The original temple is very pretty and serene. Must visit for people who cant go to Kolkata to see the real temple. One can buy Bengali bangles and other things throught out the year. One can buy Bengali sarees during Durga Pooja. And enjoy Bhog everyday with family during Durga Pooja.
This is nice temple to visit near Khadki rail station, hardly 20 mins driving from Wakad. Ample parking around the temple as plenty of open places around. Durga puja is organized every year. Lots of food stalls around. Sweets, kachori, chowmin, rolls etc. Also khichudi bhog available. Overall nice place to enjoy puja with your family.
Beautiful temple, nice ambience, nice location...dont know about the management & rules...
A complete place to get a peace and mind stability. Net and clean. Well organized. Sorry cant add photos bcz now they have a policy of no photos in temple.
Very peaceful n serene atmosphere and cooperative pandits n team members of the temple
Kali Bari: As the name says Home of Kali.Beautiful temple, cleanly maintained.Visit during Navaratri is mustThe Durga Maa pendal is awesome n treat to eyes during Navaratri.I could witness the dance n cultural programs held here.If you are a person who likes to enjoy different cultures of India then it’s a must visit during festival. You could eat variety of Bengali Cuisine. Veg and non veg. However, need patience to deal with the crowd.I believe other than Navaratri this place would not be much crowded. Will visit someday after Dusshera and review again. Some glimpses of my visitTill then||Jai Ma Kali||||Jai MA Durga||
The festive vibes of this shrine is mesmerizing. At one time one cant imagine that its in Pune during auspicious Durga Pooja. Its seems like somewhere in Bengal. There is pomp and gaiety in every corner. There is permanent Goddess Kali idol inside the premises of the temple. Durga Pooja its not only a festival but its a celebration of cultural, social and ethical legacy of whole Bengal presidency. At one side there is a long quues of beliver to pay their homage to goddesses of power - Durga and on other side cultural programme is going on and the mouthwatering Bengali cuisine its something beyond the words and emotions. A must visit place if you miss Durga Pooja if you are from east India. I have a gala day this year.
Peaceful ambience. Clean temple. Took blessings of Maa Kali and got to taste yummy kichuri bhog
Quite a large place. Beautiful ambience. Gives a very calm feeling. One can sit there and pray to Ma Kali.
Divine.. Nicely constructed temple. Perfect place for small budget wedding.
Most peaceful and calm place to visit in Pune. Kali bari is the right place for all Maa Kali Maas devotees. Evening prayers are soul escalating.
Very well organised, neat and clean.
Nice temple, feel very peace and well maintained.
Favorite place for my family in Pune. Clean and well maintained. Doesnt have Hecklers. Very peaceful. Lots of events. Management very cordial and cooperative.
Love this place. The temple organises the Durga Puja festival with a lot of enthusiasm. A number of stalls are arranged over there with several different food items and jewellery items being sold.My little suggestion would be to if possible do attend the Durga aarti in the evening because with the lighting the place looks absolutely beautiful.Ample amount of parking space is available for two wheelers. But I think only a limited amount of space is available for the four wheelers. Also the police security is also well arranged over there.Happy Pujo!!! :)
Experience only the Peace..🙏
Big temple with a lot of area for parking and/or doing activities. It is a delight to come here during navratri.I bought a conch from a shop here, it was good.
Beautiful temple. It has a peaceful feeling
Every Bengalis pujo destination in pune
Pune Kali Bari is probably among the very few places, which organises maximum of Bengali Community Pujas. One of the must go places, if you are bengali and visiting Pune. The Temple is very well organised and all the Purohit are very disciplined and very good in behaviour also...
Awesome bengali style kali puja on Tuesdays and Saturdays in noon and evening
Awesome place very well maintained can feel the kolkatta air in pune Jai ma kali.
Too crowded, and messy during Pooja, needs more maintenance.
You can feel the calmness and divinity in the place. Being a bong missed Bengali culture a lot but Kali bari makes you feel home
A serene place, when visited on occasions with no crowds.Well constructed sanctum sanctorium, and temple premises. Wish they would develop the remaining place into permanent podium for Durga puja, along with a small garden and a car park.
I always visit there and its so good to have the traditional BENGALI vibes there to feel some plzzz visit here in Durga poojas and Diwali time
80th Years of Durga Puja Celebration
The most clean, well maintained and decorated temple. Best to visit during Durga Puja.🙂👍
So serene environment, always a great place to just sit idle and listen to the prayers
All bengali item like Bangle and marriage items will available here. Beautiful kaali maata temple here...must visit
Khadki kali bari is specially a bengali temple, they celebrate durga pujo, kali pujo, jagadharti pujo, saraswati pujo and all of the bengali pujo ❤😊
Nice peaceful place!
Durga pujo at Kali Bari was quaint and subdued this year. 100 times better than Magarpatta Kali Bari pujo.Kali Bari itself is always clean and exudes aroma of incense. Kali thakur murti is small and beautiful standing on a silver pedestal
One stop place for Bengalis in Pune for Durga and Kali Puja!
Peaceful, serene and nice temple. jay ma Kali🙏
Awesome feeling of mata kali darshan :)
Visit every year during Pujo.
A very bad experience while visiting this place on the day of Durga Asthami during Durga Puja this year where one can experience (may be once in a lifetime) that for Darshan of Goddess Durga one is required to pay Rs. 100/- as entry fee. Has anyone seen this type of money making process anywhere at a holy place? It’s all business and money making going on here and disrespect to the Holy Goddess.
It is a wanderfulllllll effort of some kind and bold hearted people.only thing whenever men or women came to visit temple do not ask for donation in front of entry gate,it will decrease your impression the same thing can be done in front of exit gate,it will increase your impression as well as donation. Why it is unique ?...let the pilgrimage explore within heartiest devotion.......
Visited the place for the first time and it was a really good experience
Proper disciplines maintains as well as very neet & clean to this temple with all due respect
The temple is very clean and well maintained with ample parking space. However it is very commercialised.
The temple and its surrounding gives you a spiritual feeling and the aartis performed in the evening are very engaging.
A lovely place for bengali people to be gather in festive time
Clean beautiful n peaceful place must visit
Very good and clean temple and its premises....Feel very peaceful and happy whenever visit this temple...All our worries get blown away from our mind...The crowd makes it inside specially during the main Kali Puja Day in November...May god always keeps us safe and happy....🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Lovely place to visit during Durga Puja. However crowds can be too much!
Great place. Quiet and clean. Lots of parking space. At the time of writing this - Jan 2020 - they had taken down the existing lavatories and made no alternative arrangement. Quite inconvenient if you are visiting with ladies and someone needs to avail the facility.
Divine blessings of Maa Kali, what else you need?
Visited last week on the eve of Dussehra. Administrative people (sitting inside the temple) were surprisingly asked for donations of Rs. 50 to proceed! Unfortunately, some visitors agreed to pay without raising any question to enter inside the main temple to see Devi maa!
Place to visit to get peace in life.. Serene
Good place for pooja...
Heavily commercialised
Wonderful temple
This marble finish temple is located just a little walking distance away from a busy road making it convenient for anyone to visit and pray. The ambience is very calm and well maintained. A definite stress reliever during usual days. Parking is sufficient as well. However, a lot of activity happens here during major festivals, which are well celebrated. A huge crowd visits during those days and as usual parking becomes a mess all over the road. This and the adjacent Ayyappa temple are places to pray peacefully...
Great place, a must visit
Durga Puja October 2018
Very nice temple ...they do every puja
Rich bengali culture with purity of temple
Very nice
Nice but committee is not good
One of the best place and my favourite
Very beautiful and maintained temple. One must visit during Mata Navratri . They have various programs and big celebrations. You can see lot of bangali families around.
Awesome place. Lots and lots of positive energy. If you want some peace, i would suggest to visit this place.
A small part of Bengal in Pune I must say. The durga puja is celebrated here with all its feeling. Nice place to visit with family members also.
Nice place filled with bengali vibes.
Total peace of mind.Joy Maa.
