The French Window Patisserie is located in bungalow no.4, lane no.5, Ganga Fortune society in Koregaon Park. They serve variety of omelette, croissants, sandwiches, toasties, pancakes, salads, pastries, tea and coffee. We went here for breakfast and had Ratatouille and Ham & Cheese Croissant. Ratatouille was made of roasted veggies baked with cheese sauce and served with buttered spaghetti. It had generous amount of cheese and veggies, it was tasty.Croissant was stuffed with cheese and ham, and served with salad. It was good.We also had some Cappuccino and Latte with it.Overall its a good place to have breakfast.
Quiet, clean and efficient service as always. They discourage the use of laptops though, so dont come here expecting to work.Peaceful with good music and light conversations in the background - nice place to catch up with friends or read a book.Payment by UPI/Google Pay is accepted. Smoking is permitted. They have a couple of dogs on premises, who are friendly and dont disturb customers. Parking inside the lane (ie just outside the cafe itself) is difficult for 4 wheelers - I recommend you park on the main road instead.
Had a cosy brunch here with a friend. Enjoyed sitting outdoors in the garden and pets are welcome, which gets an extra star in my book! If I ate pastries, I wouldn’t be disappointed. I’m told they’re A-1! Personal service by the owner, who came over to say hello. Always special when that happens. Would surely visit again!
This place is so good, this is the perfect combination of affordable price with great food.It is a bit difficult to spot as it’s on the inside but won’t take more than 2 minutes to spot the board outside.Coming to the ambiance, loved the place. You can smoke outside while enjoying the food. For people like me who don’t appreciate the smell of cigarettes, one call to the waiter and he will be happy to relocate you to another table.Coming on to the food, oh my god the food was AMAZINGGG. Everything was freshly made and you can just make out by the first bite on how fresh it is. Enjoyed my time here and would definitely visit again in the future.
It took me some time to locate the place as its in a bolane but the effort was worth it.Outdoor seating is available, the only problem, almost everyone there seemed to be a smoker, i prefer nonsmoking area.Theres a limited menu but the food preparation was excellent. Really enjoyed the meal. Not very expensive either.Staff is helpful.Car parking can be a bit of a bother, better to park it on the Lane than take it all the way
That Outstanding Breakfast - DoneWeve been loyal customers of @thefrenchwindowpatisserie for years now... Possibly one of its first customers from when it was a much smaller set up. They are now located in a lane right next to Malaka Spice & we love their ambiance, food & the fact that they have two adorable & super friendly fur babies called Gucci & Hippie!! But yes whats best is the food. We went here for breakfast today & ordered :Clockwise :1. That Bell Pepper & Cheese ToastieA delight for vegetarians! Really flavourful sandwich with a very generous stuffing2. That Eggs Benedict With BaconThink of a super flaky croissant brushed with a hint of mustard, stuffed with a generous helping of bacon, topped with 2 perfectly poached eggs & a very well balanced hollandaise sauce3. That Pepper Chicken ToastieA really yummy peppery chicken sandwich! A hot favourite!!4. That Chefs FeastOh lordy! This was the mother of all things yum. How could it not be? There were a couple of sunny side up fried eggs surrounded by crispy bacon, sautéed herbed mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, pork sausages, pickled gherkins, herbed potatoes & a couple of toasts. Total bliss! If you havent been to @babitarosarios The French Window Patisserie yet, GO! Not only do they serve epic breakfasts but their all day menu will spoil you for choice. And if you cant go there order from @zomato or @swiggyindia or simply @dunzo_itThank me later 😁
Cuisines: cafe, European, frenchSpecial diets:Vegetarian Friendly, Vegan OptionsMeals:Breakfast, Brunch, LunchExcellent patisserie located near Malaka Spice, Koregaon Park.. A sit out gives ample place for children to play and, at the same time, providing the adults a quite corner. The Cafe also caters for small gatherings. The cuisine is patently French, both in Veg and Non Veg. Siblings Babita and Eugene run the cafe and provide a homely touch by personally greeting and meeting the guests.Lovely place with ample of space for outdoor seating. Ambience was great, loved it. Must visit if you love french food.
French window Patisserie is indeed a very vibrant young place to have an endless talk with anyone..... Vietnamese coffee is a must have ice coffee if you like strong coffee....Frappe and croissants werent available when we asked for ... We had a mushroom salad with feta cheese... It was yummy.... Coffee caramel cheesecake was also good... (though i would prefer German bakerys cheesecakes more..) Overall... A nice cosy place to hang out... Its next to a small gully next to Malaka Spice... But that small gully is bumpy ride... So,a suggestion to park the four wheelers on the main road..!Though i feel there should be different area.for smoking ... The place with its cuteness and warmth wins the heart...!
Excellent ambience! Very homely and pretty quaint!! Good menu and very reasonably priced 👍
I have extremely mixed feelings about this place. We’ll talk about the good things first. Entrees and mains were good. Good, not great. Desserts were awesome. We had ordered the tartlets and avocado hashbrowns. Then a prawns dish. It took forever to get our first order out. Almost half an hour. We had to keep asking for the basic things like cutlery, plates, water. We had to keep reminding the attender for it again and again. And it isn’t as if this place has self service so this sort of a thing isn’t expected. Serving plates and water is hotel management 101. Our prawns arrived even after the desserts. And we still weren’t given plates. There were two extremely cute, well mannered doggos chilling around the place. (One star extra for these pure souls ❤️)
I have most of their pastries and cakes... Every single flavour is damn tasty.my personal is decadence chocolate pastry.i love their ambience as well.
I frequent this place and it never disappoints. It is a sassy little patisserie that also serves the most delicious food and beverages! Ive almost tried out everything on their menu, and I loved it all! I would highly recommend this place for those of you who havent had a chance to visit yet.
Their butter and chocolate croissants are excellent. Light, airy and a burst of taste in every bite. Please be mindful that they run out by late morning so best to be early and get to them. Their macaroons, chocolate tart and pastries are very good too. A good patisserie option at Koregaon Park in Pune.
Tried the chocolate cupcake.-Flavor: Luscious flavors!-Texture: Fluffy but too moist at the bottom, almost juicy.-Appearance: Sinking cake, and the chocolate frosting was also melting.-Service was okay. They were rushing too much.P. S. I visited the place around 9:20p.m. when they were about to wind up(10 p. m.), maybe the quality got compromised because of that.
Love the ambience of this place. Its was literally peace and calm over here with full of greenery and soulful music. Moreover, food was delicious and you can work here as well
Love this place. Each and every dish is worth trying.
I used to really like this palce but the owner and the staff has been quite rude the last couple of times. One goes to a cafe to have a good time, not to be treated badly.
Very rude attitude of the owner towards the customersBetter he should think n talk whom he is talking to n whatNexT time better take care
As soon as you get inside the cafe the first whiff will be of their bakery. The cafe is cozy, sophisticated and expenisve but the food is so good that youll forget the third thing. I went there for the first time and absolutely loved the place and food. The chicken salad was super fresh with lovely dressing. The portion was pretty good too 🤤 I also had Wild Mushroom Goulash and Raspberry Iced Tea which were good too.If youre in Pune do try their food & desserts as well!
First things first. Its a pet friendly restaurant for all you pet lovers out there. Nestled in a quaint KP bylane it is easy to miss. The access is a road with pointy stones but the restaurant is totally worth it.The greenery adds to the casual relaxed vibe. The food and service are good but desserts are the best part about the place.
The French Window Patisserie is a really beautiful and cozy place in the heart of Koregaon Park which serves great desserts (and food as well, but I still havent had the opportunity to have food here). So, I had come here last night after dinner to have desserts. The place was very nicely decorated and giving off Christmas vibes. The ambience was really welcoming, cozy and very pleasing to the eyes. The staff is really good here and makes sure that you get the best service. We got ourselves a Decadence and a Christmas Cupcake and they were both really good and yummy. The Decadence gives you the kind of chocolate overload you want a chocolatey looking dessert should give.Cant wait to visit again to have more desserts and food.Update:Had their food. It was good as well. This time, it seemed as if the place lacked maintenance. The overall vibe wasn’t that great, but it was good nonetheless.
The food is really good. However there are people smoking everywhere in your face and it ruins the experience completely. Even at 10 in the morning , you cant eat in peace without the smell of smoke .
The ambience has several plus points, including many cute French touches and good food. But I was not impressed by the long dusty road leading from the street to the entryway, some pruning and weeding needs in the garden showcasing an outdoor gazebo probably used for performances, and -- on particular -- the dirty white canvas overhang above the tables. Ambience to me is very important in rating a place. At The French Window Patisserie, it just wasnt up to what I think of as Koregaon Park quality.I found the menu fascinating, more for the quirky pricing than the tempting choices. A glance at one of my photos below, in which Ive circled some prices, will show you what I mean. What could possibly be the reason for such offbeat numbers as Rs 286, 319, and 381? Most curious. That said, my roasted bell pepper hummus with caramelized onion sandwich (nicely grilled) was quite tasty, and the cappuccino also good. But that dirty overhang remained a distraction throughout the meal. Hopefully, theyll find a way to get on top of that problem, and work on other design issues. The restaurant could be a standout.
The place is well lit and quaint. The food is fresh, sumptuous and flavorful. The service is excellent, our server was prompt, polite and courteous
Horrible hospitality... The owner has a lot of attitude of owning this place. Was quite rude while talking to the customers. But overall the place seems cozy and fine. I believe the customer service is the top priority and need to treat them with honour than throwing very rude sentences at them.
Tried some desserts and theyre good, but they dont allow you to use a computer 😳. How is that even possible? A café is also a place where people want to sit and work... Id understand if it were a cheap place, but its not, youre paying a lot and they restrict what you can do 🙄
Its a struggle to find an AUTHENTIC coffee place. Someplace that doesnt serve your run of mill coffee and this is one of those places. Everything about this small nook is cozy and inviting. Try their Vietnamese Coffee and Belgian Dark Hot Chocolate for something special. Their tuna sandwiches are brilliant and their in store bakery is another experience with crazy breads, cookies and biscuits. ♥
Life is too short to say no to Chocolate Pastries.❤️Recently I had this super delicious Chocolate Decadence Pastry with a glass of cold coffee in Pune at @thefrenchwindowpatisserie I loved every bite of it. It was worth trying😋.I am in love with this cute little place. This bakery serves pastries, cakes, brownies, and every other dessert, baked goodness and confectionery items that one can think of. It is located in Koregaon Park. I would love to visit here again ❤️..Food - 5/5Staff - 4/5Ambience - 4.5 /5Location- The French Window Patisserie
A decent place. They need to work on balancing out order speeds. Food is okayish with great variety
Little bit hard to locate in evening since its located off the main road. Ordered the molten hot chocolate, chocolate cheesecake, potato wedges and spinach mushroom and garlic sauce sandwich. Quantity of the hot chocolate was very disappointing considering it costs 201 Rs. Potato wedges were tasty and good quantity. Sandwich was ok ok. Cheesecake was good.Ambience, staff and overall service was good.
Cant praise this place enough. Cant go wrong ordering blindly. But don’t miss their specials.
The best thing about the place is ambience and the dogs of course. Coffee is great, no doubt about it and reasonably priced. Pastries such as opera can be better made whereas the savoury stuff are good. Overall a great cafe.
Food is mouth watering but can be served bit quicker.. no complaints but waited a lot for main course
Located in lane 5, Koregaon Park. This eatery serves some delicious French cousine. It is a pet friendly cafe, loaded with some books to read in your leasure. The food quite was up to the mark and the taste was authentic. Try out The Poutine. (Pork) also comes in chicken variant. And dont forget the macaroons. Atmosphere is calm, green...Perfect for your weekend brunch.
Nice cozy cafe in the heart of Koregaon Park. Great food here, you must try the croissants!
Its a beautiful place to chill. No alchohol. A bit pricey but its a place worth going once. We had ordered Blueberry cheese Cake. The taste was good however the crust was not that of an authentic Blueberry cheese cake. Mac and cheese pasta was good. If you are a coffee lover go for The Jamaican. Lemon Ice tea was ok. For taste I would say 3. For presentation 3 and for service 4.
Must try out while at Pune. However they serve excellent verities of cakes and pastries and to compliment it they have a very good outside seating place. Simply love this place for the pastries and coffees and ambiance.....while everything on their menu is of very good quality, in case you are visiting this very popular place at the KP in the evening look for an outdoor seat.
This place deserves such high rating and there’s no doubt about it in my mind. Amazing ambiance. Quiet little place in the corner of the road.Great food, delicious and mouth-watering dessrts.Tomato and Corn soup with Bacon was awesome. Belgium Dark chocolate was a delight.Service is good too.I definitely recommend this place.
The food is good but thats the only thing going for this place. We went there for an early breakfast on a Saturday. When we reached the place was virtually empty with only a few tables occupied. Noticed a person smoking in seating area. I spoke with the manager who simply asked us to sit elsewhere. After a while another couple came and sat on the next table, after a few minutes that guy also lit up a cigarette.Clearly not a place to go if you dont smoke or are with kids. The manager wasnt ready to do anything about the situation.
The French Window is easily the best restaurant in Pune. The food is extremely tasty and artist. Everytime I visit Pune I make it a priority to go at least once and eat at the French Window
Excellent eating experience.. from walking in and being greeted by employee, seated and order taken, was maybe 5 minutes. The ambiance and vibe is super! Meal was served hot and excellent in taste, the Aztec hot chocolate is a MUST TRY, And the pastries there are Finger licking GOOOOOOOOD😍
Wonderful cozy place to hangout may be alone or with friends. yummy pancakes available
This cafe is hands down my most favourite place to visit. The ambience is amazing, the food is great, it smells amazing because of the bakery and they have the friendliest dogs. If youre big on brunch/breakfast foods, this is just the cafe for you.Been here repeatedly and dont see myself stopping any time soon :)
I just want to thank you for the great job you did on mah Personal occasion cake. Everything was a hit!I want to let you know that the cake was absolutely Perfect. We all are agreed after the first bite that it was the best tasting cake wed ever eaten. It was also beautifully decorated... You do amazing work...~Thank you so much for everything~
Nice, quite place in the heart of the city.Surrounded by lush green trees and plants.Food is great too.
One of my favourite place on the planet. 💜
I just love this cute place, there is always waiting, these people check temperature , gives sanitizer at the entrance. A lot of people miss this place as its a bit inside but exactly next to Malaka Spice. I love the Hot chocolate with mashmellow. The music is very smoothing. The staff are very friendly. Good crowd. Just there are a lot of mosquitoes..
Not that great a place. Rather, maybe the food that i ordered was not correct. I ordered a lemon cheesecake whoch wasnt much good but the chocolate mousse is totally recommended. The ambience is very nice. Give an old south Bombay cafe like feeling. Many trees around and good music. Just be ware of the parking as its quite conjusted. The staff is very helpful and welcoming.
Amazing place...lovely ambience. Went there for breakfast. Super like.
Amazing continental cuisine and lovely cheese cakes.
Food was amazingService not that great, very rude and uneasy service
Very cozy environment and friendly staff. A true gem in Koregaon Park
Great taste... Nice place o hang out with ur partner..
Lovely quaint place tucked in the lane next to Malaka Spice. The lane is difficult to walk but its just 5 minutes walk. You can get parking in the lane but would suggest on the main 5th lane of Koregaon Park.Once you come in there is a lovely portico and garden, and tables laid out to make utmost use of the garden space. They do have an inside seating which has just 2 tables with their display of desserts. We sat in the garden and it was very pleasant. Had gone to meet a friend for coffee and was not disappointed. They had a good selection of teas and coffees and seeing the price, knew it would not be great. But ..it was good. Asked for a Macchiato and it was good but in a small cup. So ended up having another !! Had lemon tart, chocolate tart, cheese cake and would have gone on .... They also have sandwiches and salads. This is a dog friendly place so if you are comfortable with a dog bruishing against your leg, go and enjoy the place.
A beautiful patisserie , wonderful bruschetta, delicious macaroons, fancy tomato soup. The broccoli & cauliflower augratin was lip smacking delicious.I took one star away cause I think they should have better signage since it’s in a lane next to malaka spice. Having foolproof directions is an easy fix. We followed Google maps and there’s no direction to come inside the lane. (If the owners are reading this- please contact google and get this edited, google is quite responsive in such matters, I’ve done it for my store)The wait staff were slightly slower & slightly less attentive, but when the food is good, what’s the hurry anyway :)And it’s pet friendly! I love pet friendly establishments. My gang will definitely visit them again!Thumbs up(If this review has helped you in anyway, click the like button)
I really love this place. I have been ordering cakes since they had a small outlet. The desserts are really sinful. The food is also very nice and the menu is well thought about. Go there and have a lovely time.
Tried the Bennidict (butter croissants, poached egg, bacon), good stuff. They serve pour over from blue tokai, which is good and probably the only restaurant in pune that served blue tokai coffee. The desserts as always are spot on and the highlight of the food.
Herb chicken toastie is best.
Good deserts though they have very few in veg.
Very nice and cosy place for a sandwich and coffee 👌👌
Amazing food & ambience.
Good tasty pastries.. and wonderful ambiance specially in the evening. Calm and quiet location.
The French Window Patisserie is located in Pune, India. As the name suggests the restaurant transports you through a window onto a cafe on the streets of Paris. While the service wasnt as great as we expected, it made up through its simply finger - licking good food. The appetizer we ordered was Summer Bruschetta for Rs. 290.We ordered six main meals. The first one being Cheese omelette plain for Rs. 162.The second one being Cheese omelette with chicken for Rs. 232. The third one being Parisien Egge Benedict for Rs. 195. The fourth one being Roasted Bell Pepper Pesto Pasta for Rs. 400. The fifth one being Chocolate Pancake for Rs. 240. The sixth one being Nutella Pancake for Rs. 240.The beverages we ordered were Hazelnut Iced Latte for Rs. 138 and Molten hot chocolate ( with marshmallows ) for Rs. 201.Personally I would give 9 on 10 for the overall rating.
Great ambiance and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The vibe is really nice...I went there around Christmas so the decor ,the music ,the feel and the morning cold was a perfect setting. The food was alright, nothing great .. desserts are good!
Ordered the trois chocolate mousse. It was lovely. The water tasted and smelled citrusy. I didnt ask but I believe it was fruit water. Couldnt try the food today. Would definitely love to visit again soon.
One of the highest rated and truly deserving small cafe in the pocket of koregaon area serves delicious cheese cakes and pastries. Belgium dark chocolate is speciality and highly recommendable.Service is little slow and can be improved.
One of the best place for date and also for casual meet up.
The manager with long hair is absolutely brash and has no sense of how to talk to customers. The previous management was sophisticated and not rowdy like this guy. I can officially say French Window has lost its charm only and only because of this long haired manager who cannot manage.
Great place for Breakfast and Lunch.. loved the place... Good food good people and there is nothing more you can ask for...
Very nice ambience and feel of nature. Quiet and calm very positive surroundings with few delicacy makes your day. Menu content is excellent...Salads are noir to be missed. Bakery is classic enlights your taste buds. Must visit place of you are in koregaon park. Good place to spend some time and enjoy food
