I have been consulting with Dr.Shridhar Chiplunkar for last 4 years and the experience is very satisfactory every time. Recently, my mother was facing recurrent knee pain due to cartilage damage and was advised surgery by a Dr in Bangalore. We visited Dr Shridhar in Pune and he was able to diagnose and assess over a whatsapp call and created a turnaround within 2 weeks. My mother felt it was magical and she was able to walk without support just within 2 weeks without any surgery.I have generally come across the Dr as very energetic, confident, positive and less invasive in his approach. First things first ppl usually visit here after few rounds of failed treatments elsewhere. I felt extremely misled by the doctor and the staffs sweet-talking. They talked to me as if we were friends for years, at times even overdoing it. I was told to fix my attitude within the 5 minutes of our meeting. Very vague assumptions about my life were made at the get go, which were not appreciated, were uncalled for and unwelcome since they arent qualified therapists. They evaded questions about my actual health problem. They even made an unfounded prognosis that it was a case of osteoporosis before doing appropriate tests for it. When I asked for the diagnosis in writing, they wrote just the symptoms I had mentioned.I was ordered to get 6 x-rays and blood tests which all costed a fortune. I was given multivitamins, and thats it. The consultation feels were off the charts, too. In 2 visits I ended up spending a whopping 13,000/- with no improvement in my health.When I got tired of the trickery and decided to switch doctors, I felt better within 3 visits, who also mentioned that the x-rays were not required at all. I had a simple case of bad posture.Please, think twice before falling for their sweet-talking. Definitely get a second opinion.

I’ve been suffering from a lower back problem from a young age due to faulty gym methods. Been to several doctors and have only got negative opinions and have been recommended only rest and also surgery but if not, that i may get paralysed too.Dr. Chiplunkar was different. I have visited clinic for backpain only . As a person dr is very good. But they suggest me 6 xray & bunch of blood test of 4000 Rs(But never saw that report & lab will send you that blood report on ur mail on next day so what is use of that ???).And Xray & Blood report should be done in his hospital onlySo my day ended with Rs11000..It is just business for making money..!

Dr Chiplunkar is a gregarious and charming person to talk to. Hell ask you about yourself, and about your profession and converse like youre best buds meeting after ten years. Unfortunately, it is amid this sweet talk, that the actual patient problem takes a backseat, and after 15 minutes in his clinic, youre told not to worry at all, but wait, take a bunch of tests before you go- look right there, in the next building! Its just a routine procedure, and wont take much of your time. Now we just want to make sure everything is alright! And the next thing you know, youve lost 10-12,000 rupees for the tests you didnt need in the first place! And then hell give a generic treatment of your basic calcium and vitamin doses, and youll feel youre okay, because nothing major was wrong with you in the first place!10/10 for people skills, but 1/10 for misleading patients and incompetent diagnosis.

I was patient spondylosis(C3-C4) , I have visited 4 hospitals, 2 in nashik & 2 in pune. All doctors was saying ,have to operate. But I was not aggree for that. My neck pain was too high . So I was not able walk normaly. Last I got information of dr Shridhar chiplunkar. So I booked appointment of him & goes his clinic (Pro-Active). When I meet him, he just told me give only 1-2 months. After 2 months I visited again clinic without anyones help. Normal pain was there. After that he give some exercise .. within 3 months my spondylosis(C3-C4) problem were recovered. In 2015 I had Left knee ACL ligament tear .under guidance of Dr Shridhar and team I am completely recovered from it ,he never suggested for ligament operation like other doctors.Instead he provided some belts ,medication and few physiotherapy exercises within 2months I was able to walk properly and after 6months of excercise I can run. We had visited this so called sports medicine doctor on 16 January 2018 as my wife a backache. He insisted on doing x Ray and several blood tests (that too from his clinic only). One of the blood test was for D vitamin. This test is always costly and wed done it recently for my wife from a reputed lab A. G. Diagnostics. However, he wasnt ready to look at those and we ultimately ended up spending 8000 rupees. My wife had severe diarrhea the next day due to his medicines. We stopped taking it right away.I wish there should have been an option of giving zero Stars. I agree with all previous reviews with 1 star. Hes a useless doctor.

While playing volleyball my left knee ACL got dislodged and badly twisted and hurt. When i did MRI, it was full tear and other doctors in Pune, Mumbai and Hyderabad have suggested to go for surgery - ACL reconstruction. After visiting 4 different doctors for advice, I came to Dr. Shridhar at Proactive. Here he has treated my knee just with medicine and excercises and finally I am back to normal, running and doing my activities with full pace. Worst clinic. They collect huge amount of money. This dr is worst. I took my uncle for knee pain. He asked for many unnecessary test. Which are very expensive. I spend arrround 15k for tests only. His medicines are also expensive. Non of them worked. He referes PH diagnostics centre for test. I hope he may get huge commission from this diagnosistic centre that’s y he asks for unnecessary tests. Finally worst doctor and worst clinic. This clinic is only for looting money. After treatment also my uncle is not well.we stopped going to this doctor.

Why would a doctor suggest for a blood test if you have a shoulder pain....a blood test costing a blooper 3600 ...and that too u ve to do the test from there only....then even medicines you to buy from the clinic itself and the doctors consultation fees is 1100 ....so once you visit you shell out around 7000 for a shoulder pain....utter nonsense doctor....it’s like we are making up for his interior ka cost...avoid this place and doctor completely ...

I am Dr. I first went to Chiplunkar a fortnight ago, my left leg was hurting a lot from my knees. It was not possible to walk or stand up quickly. I couldnt sleep. I took medicine and one sitting exercise as per the doctors advice and now my pain has changed dramatically. Now I walk slowly for an hour!
