I visited this sea food heaven recently. Its open till 4 pm these day for dining in. But the restaurant was absolutely empty, we wer the only customers. They have many dishes to offer but very obviously not catering the whole menu. The taste was good, we ordered Butter garlic prawn, rawa surmai, tawa fry pomfret. The last dish was amazing. The rawa fry could have been better and the prawn was standard. They dont have many options for drink as of now. They dont deliver in Zomato/Swiggy but have free home delivery upto 10KM around.Overall a decent experience. Could have been better had it been a normal business day with patrons around. Will plan again definitely.

An amazing experience! We had 2 different crabs, Schezwan shrimp, Bombay Duck and some sides. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavours were exquisite. Arguably some of the the best seafood in the city and everything was super fresh!What made the experience truly world class was the quality of service. The wait staff were incredibly attentive and anticipated every need from a fresh plate to another dipping bowl to wash your hands.Will definitely be visiting again!

Fine dine in. Good ambience. Courteous staff. Should try their butter garlic pepper prawns, promfret curry, squid fry, tandoor crab, sol kadi. And after all this if you want something sweet you can have caramel custard 🍮😊 recently they are not accepting credit/debit cards. But gpay works.

The Cranberry Punch n Blue Eye mocktails were amazing and the fish were well done too.

Gajalee is absolute must visit for all Seafood lovers. One of the best place to eat sea food in Pune. The place is quite expensive though and post Covid it has increased all the rates by 25% minimum which has made it moderately expensive to too much experiensive. The interior of the restaurant is quite cozy and appealing. Fish Thali is something we love here but it is available only in Lunch time. Fish and Crabs can be selected from the live stock which is something different. Waiter would literally get the live stock to your table to choose which one you want on your place to be served. Overall very good taste but very costly.

The food taste was bang on and the quantity was fairly good. Its good value for money resturant. Approx cost for the two is upto 1200 Rs. Decently located close to Army Cantt Area as well.

This place is supposedly famous for seafood but it is way too hyped. The fish fingers that I ordered were not good at all. The texture was rubbery and smell was funny, almost stale.The virgin colada and chocolate mousse were good. Prawns preparation arent that great either..The other members of our party had ordered crab and seemed to enjoy it, but I didnt taste it so cant quite comment on it..worth trying maybe

Good place for seafood. Ambience and service was nice. Quiet and peaceful place. Fish served was fresh and well prepared. Lobsters were ok but fried fish was good.Fish thali had curry, fish fry , solkadi and vegetables. Their chicken dishes are also tasty. A good place for lunch with family and friends.

Hi team ..The food is too good but service need to be improved and also customer satisfaction ...after coming so many time as far I can remember spending more than 20k+ ...no discount given always been told next visit but never kept ht promise ....to top it all was told cannot give discount as there is alot of expense for the maintenance of the restaurant...... thank you for not making us happy as the server and management dint care and just wanted the bill paid ...Not happy at all with the service ...which makes me think to come to the restaurant again or no as multiple times issue not one off..Regards

The best seafood restaurant in Pune. It was good to see the same standard maintained as in Mumbai. The ambience and menu options was great.Tried the mandili fry and prawns fry for starters. The prawns were ok. A few were not up to the mark. Fish Biryani and chicken thali was good. The solkadi was very good.Desert options were limited but good. Fruit custard especially.

Gajalee is a famous restaurant for sea food. I had Crab soup which was delicious. Then in starters had bombay bombil fry and chicken lollipop, both were good. Also, Bangada fish, which was fresh and tasty. In main course we had butter chicken, and chicken biryani both were amazing. The staff was cordial and was suggesting their speciality items. Overall a good experience, would sure recommend to all.

If Awesome and fresh seafood is your requirement, then do visit this place. Nice ambience, great food and soothing music...wait more can one ask for.

Gajalee... as the word says nice hotel, good food, and very nice combination of seafood and chicken. We tried 🐠 like surmai, prawns with chapati and vade. Overall the taste was good but i feel the quantity did not justify the cost.They show you all the varieties in a tray before you order which helps you to identify the size and cost.The service can be better if u assign tables to a specific waiter there was delay even if the order was placed in advance we need to serve on our own at times.Desserts are shown in tray before you order so that good.Music selection can be better.Overall good seafood in Pune so one can ignore the cost, but yes the cost is at the higher side.

I went there after referring google reviews I guess most of them are fake.Frankly speaking the food is not that great. You wont feel good if you have good taste of sea food. Secondly you have to carry cash with you If you dont have cash and your bill is less than 4K then hotel staff ask you to go out and bring cash.. the same thing happened to me and I would called it the worst experience of my life!!

Crabs here are a must. Amazing food. The Bombil fry is a bit over priced though and need a few more spices to make it interesting. Overall a good dining experience.

This is the 4th restaurant in the chain that I have visited and was delighted with the experience. Had the fish thali and was probably the best that I had in a long time. The surmai was cooked to perfection and had a very interesting sukha fish accompaniment. For Rs.500 the thali was more than value for money.

Gajalee... Ummm basically its a restaurant which also happens to serve hard drinks... Ambience is formal... Nothing chic about it....good choice for family n meetings... Good was okayish...drinks were on a higher side I feel...Id not visit again unless m in a formal meeting...bcz I want to explore places where I can have a good times with my frnds

Ambience is awesome and deserve good rating. If you are non-vegetarian, you will relish spicy Sea food, mutton and chicken items but little disappointing for vegetarian. You may also appreciate the collection of vintage wine, exotic bear etc. Service boys are good.

Bestest see food ever,And also good veg food available,we have tried Dahi Bhindi ( ladies finger ),and it was amazing,if you ever visit this place must try dahi bhindi,and yes also a famous kokam made healthy juice is available here, light pink colour, i came to know from my colleague that it was good for digestion....overall fantastic restaurant to enjoy your weekends.

Seefood is worth the pay

Been to Gajalee on two occasions, the satisfaction on the first compelled our second visit. The staff gives due respect to your preferences in terms of taste and preparations; the place is good for eating out , the staff polite, the food palatable, the music soothing, what more could one ask for. The price is almost at par with other seafood restaurants.

Great ambience. Awesome sea food. People managing the place are friendly and helpful. Sea food was delicious. I would not recommend eating mutton dishes here. Must come for fish dishes.

This is a good place. The food taste is delicious while they do take sometime to actually prepare the food l, the waiting time can be a bit large. The ambiance is nice and pleasant though I felt a little stinky smell may be due to rains not sure, but all in all its a nice experience for nonveg lovers mainly.

I guess this is the cheapest restaurant among the 3 restaurants near INOX. Its a completely non-veg restaurant with amazing variety of sea foods that includes crabs, prawns and others. Naan and chicken gravy were not that good. Good service!!

Needs a lot of improvement in service, variety of drinks, portion. Took more then half hour to get the starters.

If there were separate ratings I would give 4 stars for comfortable seating and ambiance, 3 stars for food presentation and appearance, 4 stars for taste, 3 stars for the service. And yes, there is some parking space available too.
