Apart from there being no Parking space usually the place has improved a lot. The process has become very structured and people are more helpful than ever. The building on the right has enough sitting space for applicants unlike few years ago when we had to keep standing for hours and hours. The staff is helpful and accepting and if you follow the online process and read the instructions carefully your job will be done in no time. It is pretty great for a government institution in India.

Very slow exam procedure... It must be expanded through online process... During pandemic also they making crowd outside of exam hall... I got slot for 2.15 to 03.30..i came at 2 through agent still slow pricess.. Waiting since 2 hr for exams... Its not well managed government procedure... In the era of 4g and 5g . India should develop more still this are tiny things.. Every person needs this license...

Visit only if you have ample amount of time...employees not up to the mark, they will make you run desk to desk for your work, even if they can sort it out easily...All take lunch break simultaneously halting work for an hour or so make people wait...Government/responsible personnel needs to look into these way of working.. its not tolerable during these disastrous time..Agents outside are helpful though if are ready to pay extra 🤑🤑🤑

RTO process is yet to achieve stature of Passport office.Still this RTO is well organized. I found many agents available outside who catches you before you start even thinking. Their rates are reasonable.One can also go through driving schools. But that will cost you double. Either way can be taken. Learner test is done after bio metric test and address verification. Test is online for which well equipped lab is available.Test consists of 15 questions on traffic sense. Out of 15, 09 should be correct to pass exam. You get instant message on your mobile. And printed license after one hour.

When you enter through the gate, there is a huge parking space with a lot of bikes and cars and busses parked in it, and a lot of Agents asking to do your work.There is also a Canteen right at the entrance, but didn’t seem hygienic enough.Also parking space was a bit littered.I went to RTO Pune for my learning license test, through my driving school’s agent.The processes of document verification, biometric, and actual test were very smooth, each one of them took only 5-5 minutes.But had to wait for my turn of test for 10-15 minutes.If you apply for learning license online by yourself, you can give the LL test online from your home.(it can save u money and also the hassle of going to the rto only for a 5 minute work)

Got my licence renewal in June 2021 and then issue of learners licence in another category now in Sept. Very swift procedure. Very impressed. I was done in half an hour for LL issue, received the learners licence on the spot. For the renewal in June, there was a long line, but today there seemed to be hardly any crowd. The process is very streamlined. Just carry all the required documents beforehand, because the printer shop outside RTO, in a nearby cafe, charges Rs.10/- per printout. (Also, the payment receipt printout is not required. Just FYI)

This is the Regional Transport Office for Pune City. All types of Vehicle Registration , Fitness , Driving license test , issue , renewal is done here on weekdays. Tests are also held on Saturdays.Compared to RTOs in other metro cities , its little bit cleaner and less corrupted , if one has the documents then you can get things done like getting new learner licenses , etc. Without getting involved into the brokers traps who are always there to fool people.This is a big places and parking is available inside the premises. Learner license can be issued within one single day if one passes the online test.

Visited first time for my two wheeler learning license. This place was very crowded. Everyone was busy to complete their work between working hour 9-5.Completed all the verification with police officers. It was very difficult, some correction in my document but there were no cyber cafe near by which help me out. I wasted full day to complete only verification. After successful verification, given test and passed the same.Same day received Lerner license. At the end i got what i was looking for.Note: Please take all the proper documents with original copy. This will help to complete verification.

Must say the RTO experience was awesome. Lots have changed over the years. I went there with my son for his drivers licence . I did not have to bribe anyone nor required the service of touts . Makes me proud to be an Indian and a Punekar.

Excellent experience in a Government department, was a pleasant surprise, clean, organized, efficient, friendly, process oriented, clear guidelines, prompt, fast. After a very long time happy to see a professional nice government department. Thanks to e-governance & the nice staffs here.This RTO branch serves Learner license & Endorsements, ample open car parking (20 INR parking fee, worth every penny), nicely managed, someone even assist in parking and slot allocation.Greenish with Trees, has two buildings, one with ground floor and another with multiple floors. First one serves all processing & scrutinize, other one issues / delivers the physical licenses / license cards in the first floor.Instructions are very prominent everywhere, opens by 7:30 am (nicely cleaned and sanitized before that), has separate sections for Biometrics, Document verification, Computer based online Learner license test (has several rows of computers, each slot / cubicle nicely numbered). Staff in computer / online section provide enough guidance to the participant.Parking is wheel-chair supported but entrance inside the buildings (two separate buildings) requires changes to support wheel-chair (hope the authorities add that support soon). Separate parking is available for visitors and staff.Very happy to see a nice, professional, efficient Government department. Thanks to all the honest & efficient staffs here.Note: One excellent person has done a great pictures on the floor on road safety just using rangoli powder. Amazing, talented soul! If you are driving a 4 wheeler, entry and exit is totally messed up.Agents are aplenty. Suggest you get inside and try yourself.

RTO Pune is systematic. Only thing I dont like is, we can get only learner license here. For permanent license we have to go to another place near Nasik phata. There at entrance you have to pay for parking. Once you get inside again everything you will find systematic. Smart RTO.

On Ambedkar road , on left side , after sangam bridge , while going towards pune railway station ....All , learning LICENCE related work done for 2 wheeler , 4 wheeler , done ... Endorsement , Transfer of names , Original copy of RC ( Registration of Vehicle ) u get here ... Application for smart card can b done ....DRAWBACK .... Many tourist buses , vans , cars which are / were confiscated parked here and there , creating shortage of PARKING space for customers who come for their work ...The building is spacious , with fans, lights , but it STINKS of urinal....🤧....They should have a XEROX CENTRE , inside too .... As usual the place is swarming of middleman or agents as they are known ...Its the only way for a new person to get the work done ....At the ENTRANCE , they should hv a huge DISPLAY as to what , Forms , documents are required to be attached while submitting the filled up form , for licences , renewals , registration , endorsement etc ....Should have the facility of E-SEVA kendra , with Stamp paper , and affidavit facility ...It will REALLY HELP the layman ... thou the work is processed quite fast , addition of above facilities , may help a lot for people coming first time ...

Pathetic.. I had to visit multiple time for just LL... They are just making you run around from one window to another in a hope to earn money... When the rules are so clear still harassing common people... Everyone knows there is no 50cc vehicle in existence so how to produce papers and then why the option is made to get learner in age 16:to 18 yrs... Completely misleading people both online and in person not entertaining properly

Staffs are not good at all, Does not want to help, Pathetic service. Unnecessarily ask the unwanted documents, if you dont have..get out, and says line up again, Does not want listen to you.If you hair a brokers, then, They dont ask so many documents, It can be done within few minutes. I have visited for two task1.Learning license:If you have submitted all documents properly then no need to worry,you will get free from here with in 1 or max by 2 hours.Surprisingly, Staff is good and helpful,😉😅For better experience and to avoid crowd select slot from early morning.Overall good experience😃(Plz see attached photos for documents required)2.Transfer ownership of vehicle:It is complete online process,If you have submitted all documents properly then no need to worry,you will get free from here with in 30min or 1 hour.Online process is good and reducing efforts ,corruption and interference from agent(Plz see attached photos for documents required)Ensure Pencil sketch of Chassis no should be proper and from chassis body only..Keep extra copies of form 29 ,form 30 and fee receipt as mentioned in required documents..

No practice of social distancing and no precautions taken , the staff itself works without masks . Very crowded place all the time . If you need to beat the crowd and get your work done quickly you have to get an agent who has of connections inside which can get your work done quickly. Ample parking space available.

Not good experience . I applied for learner license online by myself. Applied with adhar authentication . But when I tried to give test . No password received despite multiple times I tried to give test . It is very frustrating. I went to RTO TO ENQUIRE BUT NO ONE telling me something. everyone telling to go to other staff , go to other room. It took me 6 hour to make just learner license when everything is online . Why no enquiry room is there . No one entertaining.

Despite having a language barrier, I decided not to approach any agent and went directly to get my work done. Unlike most govt offices and contrary to my expectations, they were very helpful and resolved all my queries and I was able to get my work done as well. Most instructions and processes were displayed on the wall too.

Pretty well organised. There were chaos for some time but then an officer came and set everything in order.

I had not received RC of my two wheeler since 2019. I went at Main RTO and requested the details to the concerned authority.They all were helpful especially Rameshji and people from Printing Department at RTO. They rectified the error in couple of hours and I received RC book the same day.

Since its a RTO, crowd is expected. Try to go as early as possible.As soon as you enter the premises, agents will come behind you asking if you need any help.Theres one small Xerox and printout shope outside the RTO, who charges Rs. 10 per printout.I could barely see any instructions written in English (yes, few were there in English). Almost everything was written in local language - Marathi.

For renewal of driving license, visit official website and upload all documents.While filling online form, check the details and spelling before submitting, as no option afterwards for correction.Take appointment and go to Block-c ( there might not be signboard for this mysterious Block-C, take the stairs or ask someone) Inside block C, they will verify the documents which you uploaded online.Carry print of online-payment-slip, and ask for stamp on that page for future reference.The new license will be send via post to you. ( Max 10-15 days)No need of agent, unless you are generous.The office is always crowded. Take online appointment at 10AM.If possible, go via bike ( parking fee is 5 inr) as 4 wheel parking are limited.Note:While uploading passport as proof, upload first and last page of passport (name and photo page, address page) details as one single file. ( At counter, they only check uploaded documents match to Xerox copies)

Good visit Experience, But process & management is not Very Good.

Covid protocol is being followed.counter staff is efficient and quick to handle papers.However touts outside still throng in fair numbers solicating business.

Its kind of mixed experience.If you have applied online, process is very simple streamlined and automated. You go from one window to another getting your biometric done first then the documents validation and so on.Beware of agents outside. Dont ask them anything and go inside the building straight.Also in case you need to get any document printed, there are vans parked outside the wall which is accessible from behind the parking. Just dont ask any agent. They will charge you ₹100 for single print.

Nice place close between 1.00 to 3.30 . For parking they will take 20 Rs without giving a slip.

Everywhere theres waiting and less staff. If your slot is at 10 and you go at 9, you would still be waiting there till 1.30 as the staff is so ignorant.

In RTO staf no co-operate for RTO work.

Most of the activities are performed well by the authorities with good conductance but the parking issue clearance is still pending which needs to be seriously taken into consideration, especially for the four-wheelers. Administrations co-operation is truly appreciable at times in handing over licences at the earliest!

Yesterday I went to RTO Pune Sanganwadi for my sons learning license. The systems have been streamlined and improved. This is really appreciated. However parking your 4 wheeler inside and taking it out is quite a herculean effort. The vehicles are haphazardly parked with no monitoring. There is no clear path for vehicle movement. Lot of vehicles are parked here and there. With lot of difficulty I got a place at far end corner. However while returning, some vehicles were parked behind my vehicle and close by, thus it took close to half an hour to remove my vehicle. With improved working systems, it will be really good to make proper arrangements for vehicle parking which is monitored to avoid inconvenience to the citizens

Guys please note that the RTO office now starts at 10am. There are Thugs and Brokers standing outside gate who will tell you that RTO is closed until June 15th. Its a LIE including the RTO parking Assists who are involved with the Agents...So if u arrive before 10am please ignore them and stand at a corner until they open the main gates

Genuine staff and if you are process complied then there shouldnt be any issue get your request processed

Rto Agents are fraud they should be restricted and online process is not available in Maharashtra as for there fraud businesses, every rto should have have help desk as process are complicated and cant understand by notice boards

Appropriate place to get license in the legal procedure. Though not so clean nearby area but buildings are hygienic. Testing is safe and fool proof. Overall it is a great place to get license from.

Government office. Old buildings. Easy parking for two- wheelers and four - wheelers. Staffs are helpful. You will see agents ,who promises to help you in your paper work with certain amount to be paid.so,be careful. Washroom very hard to find. The exit gate is blocked due to metro work.

Office was clean. Staff is helpful. Do online process (payment) and carry all documents that need to process original and photocopies and submit it. Staff will help you to rearrange documents and theyll guide if need something else. Do not contact any agent they will charge much more than needed. All processes are quite straightforward and simple so do not hesitate to do it yourself that save very good extra amount. If help needed then search online or visit rto office enquiry section theyll help you out.

Nice experience over all . If you know where exactly to go it doesnt take much time to get things done. Government staff is qualified . polite most of the time. You can ask me if you need directions about applying for learners license.

I submitted the application on 27/03/2021 for the removal of hypothecation and address change .I was expected to receive my updated RC in 45 working days but I did not get it so I visited the same the same office on 3rd of May 2021 and there I get to know that office is been closed till 14 May 2021 or may be till 31 May 2021 due to govt. guideline of lockdown.I was disappointed that its not been updated on there website as I visited the office then only I get to know that office is closed so I could not check the status of my RC .They have not provided any phone number on their website where you can ask query about your application status.However I checked my application status online and it showing RC printing and RC dispatching steps are still pending since 16 April 2021.So I request govt. that please provide any helpline or contact number of corresponding office so people can be assured themselves by contacting them in covid situation.Even if Mr.Gadkari (Minister for Road Transport & Highways and the Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the Government of India.) said that RTO premises would be agentless so common citizen would get chance to get those work done with no extra charges(govt.fees) but thats not the situation when I entered on 27/03/2021 and I saw so many agents are still active in premises of RTO pune.

Usual Government Office with corrupt, lazy and non enthusiastic workers and unclean, unorganized surroundings. Hoping that this changes in a few years.Went here for my Learners License Test on 12 Sept. The officers were lazy. The whole process of verification of documents and biometrics takes up a huge time irrespective of whether u have an agent or not. None of the people follow the queues formed.Tips: Carry food and water with u. Prepare for the long waiting and standing hours. Be patient and get your work done.

This place is good but very less parking for 4 wheelers and crowded with many unwanted people over there. Many counters are not labelled properly. No working counter for enquiries. No queues so just crowd in front of counters. Procedures are given but no where it is mentioned to which counter we need to visit after online procedure etc. But more proper thing about office is agents are reduced, little easiness brought in to the procedure!

Worst Experience ever! No professionalism! Every thing is unprofessional ! No system and no management ! They almost take your whole day! I had an appointment at 11:30! But my work was completed at 4:30! No cleanliness ! Horrible parking arrangement ! Disgusting toilets! There Is no cleanliness at all ! Everything is pathetic! Process goes on and on! Everything is going on slowly!And it is overcrowded which is not good in the current covid situation! Many people from staff do not wear masks! No temp check no sanitisation!There is no social distancing! In these times they should be taking limited appointments! But no it is extremely crowded! I had the worst experience! One should be having lots of patience to complete this process! There is full chaos! But after all u dont have the choice u have to go there if u want license!The only Good thing is that u get the license immediately after the whole process is done on same day of appointment!

Horrible and most corrupted place.If you really wish to see how people misuse of law and how official gets into it without making their hands dirty....visit this place.They will ask you to pay ₹50 as official fee but to pay that fee you will have to walk out of office and pay it to photocopy guy and to receive that fee hell charge you₹50 more.After doing all this circus your work will be done.I suggest you to go there with some nominal work and see the process.All services are online is myth.....

First time I had a wonderful experience at any government office. I went there for driving license renewal. The whole process including biometric was completed in 15 min straight. It would be less than 15 min if they would have put up the enough sign boards for Block A, B, C. You have to ask somebody about the blocks in current situation.

Information is readily available at RTO office. For learning licence all signs, symbols, and other details are posted on wall. If you visit the RTO you can easily pass the exam. Just read the board carefully. The staff is cooperative and supportive. Just go fearless and complete the exam

Very limited four wheeler parking.Please accompany another driver who can take care of your car outside the office.Lots of brokers are around, be-careful.

Go at your own risk. The services and etc are okish; of course can be better. The thing is as per my experience on 16th March 21, they are not following even a single CoVID guideline. A lot of people were not wearing any mask, no official objected that, even few officials werent wearing mask. There was no social distancing maintained between the people coming there for the services ! Yes, people should be aware; but, it is also responsibility of the authority to make them follow rules. The situation was horrible. Also, about the place the guidelines could had been better at the place to guide people correctly through the process. There were fewer to none signs for maintaining social distancing at the different places inside the premises. The place is also full of fraud agents they ask for few hundred to even thousand rupees money to get your learning license and make you follow all the process yourself😂. There is no control over these people by authorities. Officials never asked any person to wear a mask or to maintain social distancing. No doubt the cases in Maharashtra are boosting.

This is too much of a crowdy place. The buildings or rooms can be quite difficult to find. This place is not cleanliness-friendly either. So it might is truly not a very good place.

RTO Pune office is very well organised and administered. For any of your RTO related work, you can directly visit the RTO for availing services. Since government has made it pretty convenient for applying online for RTO services, the experience at RTO office becomes hassle free. Make sure you book prior online appointment at RTO Pune and have all the original and copy sets handy.

Pune RTO for DL, Vehicle paper transfer. All these types of work can be done here.Parking is also there. Staffs are very helpful.

Many Touts (unauthorized agents) chewing up with hefty money... quick learning license for two & four wheeler in just four minutes cost 5k.. educated people are taken for ride...

Staff is very poor in their responsibility. They have internal connection with agents outside. They decide rate for your work with agent. If you go without agent you will be treated as bug. Dont hesitate to call transport Minister. It worked for me. I took his help to get my work done.

The RTO office of pune city:The place is quite useful as we all know that most of the government related tasks can be done there. The place is old and need some renovations. The working of staff is quite slow as the working surrounding isnt completely modern. Most of the tasks depends on paperwork.But overall, the place is useful but old.

Lots of agents at gate... Dont bother them. Make sure you carry all correct documents or they will send send you back. Make sure to respectfully talk with them or they wont give a f*ck about where you came from or who you are, they will send you back.

I dont know why people stand outside and offer help in return of money, RTO is for public service but here we have to pay to get our work done to those brokers.. attitude of staff is worst.. there delivery service of RC licence is pathetic... Its been more than a year I have purchased my bike still not received my RC... This shows how bad is our public service... Great example of laid back attitude

Nothing has changed. Only the infrastructure of the main building is modified. All Work is happening in the same way. May be some are doing their work legally. But many things are there that needs to be changed yet.Main issues are:1. No proper desk to guide the people for their type of work2. Parking Issue3. Earlier RTO was having sign boards, hoardings in the premise of traffic rules and regulations all over it. But now nothing is there.4. Department Name Plate is Missing.Etc.May be this is my observation. But there might be more things.

Highly disorganized and filthy place. Full of touts, agents and Driving School facilitators. You might as well go along with any of these folks above or prepare to spend days or weeks getting simple tasks done. Their website has been dysfunctional since ages. The only silver lining was to see some potential changes that implementation of Sarathi 4.0 might bring. If you want to experience bureaucratic nuisance at its peak and ridiculous documentation requirements... Head here for your fix.

First and most important please dont get carried away or dont trust blindly and dont fall for the unrealistic promises by agents here. You may lose money and time both. Not all but few people are there waiting for easy money. And you may end up in being the prey.But at the same time there are few good agents too around who will guide you better and make your work easy. So just be careful to judge right people.I would say, best time to get here is early office hours, With time in hand you can meet and discuss people here understand the process and steps to follow.Since almost all applications are and processes are online, you can surely help yourself in better way. But still in some point you might need guidance to move ahead.Sharing some photos for reference. As common reason you might need to visit this office for collecting documents like RC, DL etc. which are normally sent to your registered address by post. But since the documents could not be delivered due to some reason they are sent back to RTO office. and then you need to collect the documents by personally.

Ample parking space in case you are scared to go there on your four wheeler.

Pathetic, they gave appointment for learning licence of 7.30 am today. Its 9.00.am and no one from authorities turned up.

Capturing Biometric was easy but document verification was way too stringent. He made me update form for three times. After document verification, process was smooth and took 45 minutes. I entered RTO at 11am and exited at 3:30pm.Reach 1 hour prior if you are determined to survive this ordeal successfully.
