Every year the E&TC Engineering Department of Zeal Polytechnic organizes various industrial visits for enhanced practical exposure to the students. It combines an industry-driven curriculum & practical knowledge for students. These industrial visits bridge the gap between the regular curriculum & actual industry requirements. The College provides the financial support for travelling charges, industry charges etc. Such initiatives by the College help the students expand their horizons beyond the traditional realms of classroom-based learning and they get a feel of the real world which they would be entering upon graduating from the College.

The E&TC Engineering Department of Zeal Polytechnic organizes a series of guest lectures where industry experts or professors from reputed institutes share their knowledge and experiences. This makes these guest lectures very informative and are enjoyed immensely by the students who get an opportunity to be inspired by these leaders and entrepreneurs. These experts lecture bridges the gap between the regular curriculum & actual industry requirements. Such initiatives by the College help the students to upgrade their skill-set to make it industry relevant which in turn helps them at the time of placement.

The E&TC engineering Department in Zeal Polytechnic is always trying to upgrade the student’s theoretical as well as practical knowledge. The Department has highly equipped laboratories such as Basic Electronics lab, Communication lab, Instrumentation and Measurement lab, Digital lab and Microcontroller lab, all of which are duly updated as per new changes in the MSBTE curriculum. All the lab equipment & various trainer kits are well maintained to meet the requirements. Sufficient quantity of equipment & various trainer kits are available so that all students can perform experiments individually, thus maximizing learning outcomes.

Every year the E&TC Engineering Department of Zeal Polytechnic organizes various cultural activities for the students to nurture and hone their stage acting skills and other hidden talents. Many leading actors who graduated from ZEAL today are in the movies and television arena. And the tradition still continues! Students excel in various music & dance activities ranging from Vocal singing (Indian Classical, Western Classical, Indian Semi classical, Folk, Light music, etc), instrumental to Various dance forms such as (Bharat Natyam, Kathak, Western Classical & other western dance forms). We provide a free and open environment at the Department for the students to explore their talents while excelling at their academics.

The E&TC Engineering Department of Zeal Polytechnic organizes different social activities like a free PUC camp to reduce pollution from vehicles, and road safety campaigns among others at the Department level. We also organize blood donation camps thus fulfilling our social resposibilty to some extent. We Zealians also organize a Swachata Abhiyan with the contribution of our students in areas surrounding Narhe gaon. The Department also takes several efforts to help those affected by the heavy rains as well provide the required help to farmers affected by a drought.

Department of civil engineering is always looking forward to upgrade the students knowledge by organising various extra-curricular activities such as various workshops to gain knowledge other than the regular curriculum which todays engineers are lacking. The Department has organised several workshops on AutoCAD and Etabs which enables the students to draw plans of buildings among other key learnings. Students of Zeal Polytechnic are ready to face the industry immediately after completing their diploma course which is the current important demand of the market.
