Food is very tasty here. You can get the taste of Odia food. A bit costly, but ok. The manager Mr Kangali Sahoo is very cooperative. Recommended to all Odias in Pune.

Good in taste!! a bit pricy

Great place in Pune for Oriya food. The same taste as of home. Quality and quantity wise its awesome. But what stopped me to rate it as a 5 star was I went for buffet which cost 300 and there were only 2 veg items and 2 non veg items. So for a veg guy it would become costlier. And while having ala a carte if you order two simple dish, then it will cost you even more than the buffet. Price was high like eating pakhala at 120+ while steak rice cost somewhere around 60. Otherwise a good place to have homely taste food. And a must try for the ones who havent tried it till now. We have ordered dahi pakhala, Potolo aalo vaja and rohu fish fry. Dahi pakhala and Potolo aalo vaja was nice and the combination was deadly.😁 But rohu fish fry was a sad story.😂

Taste is good but a bit expensive. We had -- 3 dahi pakhala- 1 plain rice- 1 chicken aloo kasaa- 1 mutton kasaa- 1 chingudi bhaja (6 pieces)- 1 badi churaTOTAL BILL 1500rs.Mutton was okay, but chicken was good. An Odia should visit this place at least once to appreciate the owners effort. Staff was very friendly. Overall a good experience, just dont expect too much of an Odia experience.

Best odia food in pune

The restaurant does not see visitors these days and it may be owed to the Corona Pandemic.The specialty is Odia Food especially Non Veg /Sea Food.The interiors are still the same.It needs development.There is no tap water in basin, people with above 5 feet 8 inches will find it hard to move inside the restaurant as the false ceiling is very low making it uncomfortable.Coming to food, had Mutton Kasa , Macha Besara and rice .All were very good quality and tasty.It was a definite improvement from my last visit which had left me disappointed. The price as usual will be a pinch to your pocket but an occasional visit once in a few months to get the delicacy of Odia Food can be done here.

Food quality is sub standard. Ate here twice, first time had only veg and second time had non veg. Food was not fresh. Taste was not at all authentic odia taste. No wonder this Shaq doesnt see that many customers. Also the waiter was busy in his mobile both the times I was here.

Preparation and taste is good. But sometime less choice to order. Menu will be available depends on availability. You can get Odisha sweets like chenna poda and Rasagola. But price is bit costly.

Their traditional mutton kassa, mutton curry and chicken are very tasty, I keep visiting this place to have mutton curry and rice to have taste of Bihar ,jharkhand and Odisha.they serve very fresh and taste will satisfy your soul. Very smart...When I took biryani from the shop few weeks ago it was so fresh and tasty.Today I requested him to deliver he delivered yesterday night biryani. I am very heartbroken to feel that business mind has spoiled the trust and warmth once it used to be. He thought he will earn today who will know.I would like to tell, any business specially food one is not a one day business and goes forever. He lost a prospect regular customer today.

Its a small restaurant but Best place in Pune to have Odia authentic food. Taste is very good but dishes are very costly. The maacha besara is very good here. They even make chena poda here. Thalis are good here. In summer pakhala is a must try dish here. The staffs are well behaved. They even host Odia buffet on weekends. Owner is cool . You will get Odia feeling here as the staffs are Odia .

Ordered Rohu fish...bt some sea fish has been delivered...Nd when I call they didnt agree...curry is too oily to eat..had a very bad experience today...wud not recommend to anybody

Of course a variety of typical flavors from Odisha, but also a delicious. Price is little higher side, it might be for a area they have located. I have visited this place once and had rohi besara. The taste is awesome. If you want to have authentic odia flavor a visit to this place is must. On a light note the chicken rasa and pieces should be kasa in chicken thali. Other dishes seem to be also good from other reviews. The place is quite congested with no ventilation.

Taste is very authentic as per Orissa flavor on affordable price. I love murg rasha very well even tandoor is also good.Mutton was avg and I wont recommend from my side.I have ordered chicken chilli as well and it was good.Staffs are friendly.There is seating arrangement but environment is kind of packed room.There is no private parking for them but you can use kalyani nagar road parking as other restaurants.Overall good and recommend it.

I could have given negative if google allow me to do that. Worst food quality, didnt find the taste of odisha at all.Also the price is too high(i mean i could have afforded eating at BBQ 2 times for unlimited buffets). I had ordered dahibara & chhenapoda which was of last night.How can someone serve that food which we desire to get everytime i have been to odisha.I am a proud odia and seriously i was embarrassed to take my friends to this place.I would never go again.

Best place in pune to have authentic odia food. These days in summer they are giving pakhal buffet in very reasonable price . Odia desserts are also available. Though the place is small food is good.

This is like one of the rarest option of Odia food in Pune. But the restaurant owners are taking advantage of it. The fermented rice which are available at some ₹30 in Odisha, here they are available at a surprisingly high price of ₹120. Restaurant interior is very poorly maintained (i.e even proper wash basin is not there) . Go once/twice for a taste change, you will like it

I was here for lunch. Its a small little shop in the Fortleza complex in kalyani nagar. Theyre specialists in odiya food. Food was tasty and good. Its a very budget friendly place worth the time you take out.
