I usually ordered from Camp branch but I tried FJ Caterers from wanowrie first time and the experience was bad. I ordered 2 kg chicken biryani for guests on Rakshabandhan and it was no masala biryani only I could see chili powder..the delivery was late as the delivery person said there were too many orders and assume this was the reason for the quality. We paid extra for delivery charges and deposit, the handi is still at my place after calling and complain..no action taken yet... cant rely on famous caterers also...

Ordered a mutton biryani today 9/05/21. To sum it up in one word. Rubbish is not the word !Lacked taste, quality, raw meat , dry & flavourless. This is definitely not a first experience in recent times. But couldnt ignore now .

The owner Abdullah is very ill mannered.He will be abusing infront of customers to his ppl. Very poor service. The kitchen is very dirty, The cooking staff is very unhygienic.

I used the services of Mr. Abdullahs FJ Catering services recently for my 60th birthday party. I was most disappointed with his services. Enumerating herebelow some of the reasons :1. Extremely rude staff.2. They not serve vegetable biryani which was ordered. One of my vegetarian guests asked whether there was vegetable biryani. The rude answer from his staff was why would they serve vegetable biryani when it was not ordered. When I came to know of it, which was almost towards the end of the dinner, I was told that it got left behind by mistake. They eventually called for it, when everyone except one vegetarian guest, had finished dinner. When the biryani did arrive, the vegetables were half cooked which was a clear indication that the so called biryani was made in a hurry and sent. They probably thought they would get away with not having to serve it at all.3. The tawa non veg was pathetic...served cold, with hardly any mutton and ridiculously small amount of goat brain which was one of the items of the tawa non veg. What was there was smashed and barely existent in the dish. Mr. Abdullah had the gumption to tell me that they had brought 5 brains which according to him was enough for a guaranteed number of 45 persons. He rudely asked me whether he was expected to bring 45 brains....5 brains for 45 persons??...laughable! Also the miserly amount his staff was serving to the guests was a shame to my party.4. The menu included Nan Pav and he was categorically told to procure the same from Imperial bakery. It was supposed to be cut and warmed on the tandoor. He served cold normal pavs (the vada pav variety)5. Jalebis which was supposed to made on the spot with rabadi, was sent in two plastic bags, one of which was taken back with them. The rabadi was again rationed out in little spoonfulls.6. The nail on the coffin was when he said there were 10 extra plates served for which we would have to pay close to Rs.5000 more. When I showed them the list of actual guests who had attended, he said maybe some of of the guests had brought in their friends. This was a house party and all the guests who attended was known to me personally. It was not an open house event.Incidentally we have caught him doing this at our Society New Year event when he had put 10 plates less than the guaranteed number and then shown us that he was adding 10 or more extra plates. Luckily our Society manager had counted the initial number of plates.Also he had said he would have to make the paneer and other veg starters for all 45 persons because he couldnt predict who would eat what. But not even midway through the party the paneer starter was finished. Also the three non veg starters was circulated very sparingly and only in the garden area despite a lot of guests being inside the house.Thanks to the veg and non veg momos that we made at home and a very large and well endowed cheeseboard that I had made, the guests were not short of starters.FJ Caterers is history where I am concerned and we will also never use him at our Society Events again. Mr. Abdullah and the FJ catering staff was the sore point of my 60th birthday party, which most of my guests will vouch for.Thankully our bar tenders, the ambience and the other staff present made up for his poor performance.

Always super biryanis (especially chicken dum) ... Just if he could provide home delivery consistently even with a basic charge would be epic.

F J makes the best khichda in town and quantity of each kg of biryani is much better / more than others.

Great chicken biriyani & chicken 65- undoubtedly one of the best in Pune. Timely home delivery too- either in one big tapela or made into neat small packets for one person. Reasonable prices. #biriyani #chickenbiriyani #fingerlickinggood
