Amateur Astronomers Group (Pune) guys have a camping setup nearby Pune and they conduct many educational events like overnight sky gazing, astronomy theory sessions, quiz contests, Moon watching through telescope from the city etc.Overnight sessions cover basic to midlevel astronomy concepts. They have a big huge telescope to observe Saturns rings, Jupiters moons, and many other deep sky objects. A wonderful experience for anyone who is interested in astronomy and star gazing. The group conducts fun and factful activities, cosmic stories, moon and deep sky objects sighting through the telescope along with general astronomy based discussion around a campfire. All the arrangements are well done..delicious food and a lovely camping experience at a clean and safe place away from the city.
