I visited with my wife last weekend and was impressed with this gem of a fine-dine joint tucked away amongst the narrow bylanes of Mundhwa. It is co-located with the adjacent Waikiki, a hip joint with loud music, dance floor, and finger/fast food.Location (3/5): Google helped locate this restaurant without which we would have lost ourselves in the bylanes of Mundhwa, near the Hadapsar rail station. Parking was roadside.Ambiance (4/5): Open-to-sky, covered and indoor seating areas are available. Outdoor areas are located at 2-3 locations. We occupied a table under the trees on entry but were forced to shift to one covered above due to stuff dropping from the trees even without it being windy. Fixtures were not overstated and the ambiance got us in the right mood for the evening.Service (4/5): We opted for regular water and service can be fairly judged from the alacrity with which glasses are refilled. This was a bit tardy, but otherwise, things were prompt, right from the welcome, menu explanation, order fulfillment, &c. Waiting staff and manager were courteous, with helpful suggestions.Food (5/5): We had Tawe ke Khazane Veg Bhuna, Murg Tawa Khurchan with tandoori rotis. The preparation was very good and quantity sumptuous, so much so that some quantity had to be taken home, not that we are very big eaters!Overall it was a great evening, except for a few unintentional niggles, and we have decided to revisit with kids when they come a-visiting.
