Nice fancy cafe in Kothrud area, the ambience is really nice. We ordered one cold coffee, and two desserts. Taste wise coffee was great but the desserts are super heavy so think before you order :p.. everything is a bit pricy.. but you can surely visit here once in a while !

A cute little place in the shady streets of Mayur Colony. We ordered a hot chocolate which was meh, not good. Too sweet for my liking and lacking in the main ingredient i.e. chocolate. Although the sandwiches were bomb. We ordered spinach, corn and jalapeno sandwich and a tomato, pesto and goat cheese sandwich.

Loved this place. They have tried to make the place like the French cafe like you can actually find in any street in France and its pretty close. The theme, music, cusine, ambience gives you the authentic French feel. The service is superb and amicable. Loved the taste of their Blueberry cheesecake and chocolate coffee. Definitely recommend.

Instagram worthy place. Beautiful interiors. Color theme is subtle and delicate. Ample space for seating both inside and outside. Wide range of food and desserts are available. Price range is fine, neither cheap nor costly. Gravely disappointed with macaroons. Coffee was lukewarm. Chocolate pastry and the cupcakes were delicious. Some of the food ordered later took some time to be served so the staff gave us 2 small cupcakes as an apology from there side. Overall good experience and definitely must try at least once.

Their desserts and teas are a must try. The cutlery is unique in its color combinations.We had white pasta, hibiscus tea and filter coffee hazelnut mousse.But service was too slow, we had to wait for almost 45 mins. Maybe due to weekend rush.A good place to visit with friends or family.

I think they tried to give it a French cafe look but the velvet chairs missed the mark! It is a nice place with good coffees and cup cakes. I would pass on most of the other desserts- too sweet and cloying. The sandwiches and pastas are decent. I love the open air section.

Very tasty food! Sandwiches were delicious & the bread was freshly baked. Pink pasta was also very tasty. The ambience is beautiful & the service is good. The only thing i felt was the quantity of food felt less. After eating one whole sandwich & half a pasta I was still hungry. They could charge a little more for each dish but increase the quantity. The cold coffee was very nice too, not too sweet, just right. They have a wide variety of desserts but the ones we got were average tasting. Overall a great experience. Would definitely recommend.

A nice quaint cafe and patisserie in the heart of Kothrud. They have beautiful decor with nicely placed outside seating. It is nice to know the cafe scene in Pune is going in the right direction rather than those ghastly ccds/baristas!! 😏Amazing range of cakes, pastries, macaron, Rolls and all thats sweet!Savoury items are decent in taste although Chicken ham sandwich had more of typical chilli powder instead of paprika or other spice mixes. A black pepper mix would have perfectly suited to chicken ham sandwich which goes subtle and hot with egg. It was good in taste but could have been better. Penné alfredo was good and rightly Italian instead of Indianized versions.The staff is nice and courteous. They served the food and coffee with quite good turn-around time. For coffee fanatic it might not be a wonderland. They didnt have my Long Black coffee and had only Americano.Its a perfect place for those romantics up for a quick date or meeting your special friends and just hang out! 😃Good luck with your future Madéline Cafe and I am sure you will be a great success.

Very unprofessional staff. Doesnt even co-operate with reservations made by dining apps. They directly decline any offers booked by you and you need to pay whole amount with taxes. Also, many items arent available. Additional to that, they stare you all the time making you uncomfortable too.It was my worst experience and surely Ill insist my friends & family to never visit Madeline Kothrud, Pune.

My fellow readers, listen to me and listen to me well. This restaurant is quite tricky. If someone hasnt been to a french bistro and pâtisserie then madéline may look and feel everything french. One may be overwhelmed by the décor, the desserts, the ambience, and wouldnt take a split second to think thats a genuinely authentic french pâtisserie. But but but.... folks you are in for a subtle suprise. Those who might be accustomed by the standards of french pâtisserie ( try the french window for that) will also come to know that THE DESSERTS ARE ALL SHOW OFF, IT HAS NO SUBSTANCE. You may find pretty looking desserts here but compare it with other far superior french pâtisseries( yup, its a nod to The French Window), the taste is downright ordinary. This bistro lures you into spending quite a good amount of bucks ( credit goes to incredible décor) but when it comes to variety of desserts, the texture, or even the teas offered, I have to tell you, you will be disappointed. My opinion? DODGE THIS BULLET. YOU DESERVE BETTER.

The place is new and well the macarons were not that great. Plus the staff did not know half the names of the desserts kept there... And the names of the desserts were messed up in general. Ambiance is like love sugar dough but LSD is better.The charcoal latté was really good though and very unique.

I had red sauce pasta, which was amazing, alomg with pink lemonade- okayish, nutella hot chocolate which was super yummy and also garlic bread. Although the bread was okay-okay, like regular garlic bread which you can easily bake at home. After everything, i ordered blueberry cheese cake, umm it was so bad, the crust tasted like wheat and cream cheese was bad and the jam was also bad. Overall a must visit for some cute pictures.

Hello folks,This is one of the best places for cupcakes. Hazelnut cupcake is highly recommended. The best part is it’s less crowded and the ambience is amazing. Do visit this place in the evenings to get the most of it. Surely a place to visit as often as you can with few days of gaps so that you love eating cupcakes and the cravings will remain intact.

Everything seems to be in its right place when you enter this cafe. The pastel colored decors, friendly service, and delicious food makes it stand out.As good as it is, do expect some waiting time on the weekends.

We had very good experience i went my colleagues. Its concept based on French Cafes. We ordered a paneer sandwich which was moderate in taste and white sauce pasta.The most loved thing was desert it took away our heart.

The place is real cute, the ambience is nice too, but I found it to be a little expensive.Also, while most other cafes and eateries have started giving paper straws with drinks, I was rather disappointed to find that Madeline still gives plastic straws. At a time where we really should be discouraging the use of plastic, it would be great to see paper straws being used instead.
